Transportation is a crucial element in the development of an area, especially in the context of developing transportation routes in Lampon Beach, Banyuwangi Regency. With inadequate road access, the ...development of road routes on this beach is a priority to increase the region's economic productivity by utilizing the potential of natural resources. This research applied the spatial data-based Technology-Based Integration Method with the support of ArcGIS and Civil 3D software. Two road traces were generated, with the total length of trace 1 is 4.76 km and trace 2 is 4.98 km; the volume data of trade 1 with excavation amounted to 52,064.09 m3, and embankment amounted to 15,002.59 m3. Meanwhile, the volume of trade 2 with excavation amounted to 89,464.92 m3, and the barrier amounted to 12,537.02 m3. These results demonstrate the efficiency and accuracy of infrastructure planning on the geographical and spatial characteristics of the region. The assessment of excavation and embankment costs provides an overview of the resources required by applicable standards and regulations. This approach contributes significantly to selecting efficient road routes and a better understanding the resources needed for infrastructure development.
The UB Forest Buntoro area is a biodiversity conservation zone that has the potential to be developed into a tourist forest, so it is planned to build a drainage channel in each section of the road ...to overcome the runoff that occurs. This research aims to describe an example of the application of BIM in construction planning for drainage channels. In this study, drainage channel planning was done using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Storm and Sanitary Analysis (SSA) software. The AutoCAD Civil 3D application is used to create a road route for which drainage channels are planned, and the SSA is used to analyze the hydrology and hydraulics of the drainage channel. Based on Building Information Modeling findings, the optimal drainage channel design yielded channel dimensions of 0.4 m × 0.4 m. The main channels (RC (Right Channel) and LC (Left Channel)) are planned to use gabion material, while the culverts are planned to use u-ditch material and a construction planning cost of 1.571.818.500,00 IDR. This study intends to give an example of how Building Information Modeling (BIM) is applied in Indonesia, particularly in the area of water resources. It does this by utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D and SSA programs to design drainage channels.
Imogiri - Dlingo road section is a primary collector road located in the Mangunan tourist area, Bantul, Indonesia. This road is a provincial road with hilly terrain, lots of sharp turns, and long ...ascents and descents, which are potential for traffic accidents. Police data records that in February 2022 there was an accident on this road with 13 deaths and 33 injuries. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate road geometric, both horizontal and vertical alignments on Imogiri - Dlingo road based on Guidelines for Road Geometric Design number 13/P/BM /2021. To do so, road geometric analysis is conducted by employing road safety inspection data, which is then modeled using AutoCAD Civil 3D software. Based on the survey on road geometric, it is known that the number and width of lanes and shoulders are in accordance with Guidelines. Meanwhile, the analysis results using computer program show that this road has 24 horizontal and 6 vertical alignments. Nevertheless, 87% of bend radius, 67% of curve length, 58% of bend angle, 43% of slope, 57% of critical length, and 67% of control design (K) are not fulfilled the requirements. Therefore, Imogiri - Dlingo road is dangerous road and is potentially causing fatal accidents.
Road damage in the UB Forest Sumberwangi Area, Karangploso District, Malang Regency, is one of the harmful impacts of the drainage system. This study aims to analyze an accurate and efficient ...drainage system by applying modern methods, namely Building Information Modeling (BIM). By using BIM, the analysis of drainage work becomes faster and more accessible than with conventional methods. BIM is beneficial in building and analyzing drainage network data quickly and effectively and can help expand it to provide more accurate results. BIM can integrate models based on technical data and simulate development information into a three-dimensional model. BIM is used to perform 3D modeling of drainage channels using Autodesk Civil 3D, as well as analyzing channels from both hydrology and hydraulics with Storm and Sanitary Analysis (SSA). After calculating the design for a 5-year return period rainfall, channel dimensions of 50 x 50 cm and 30 x 30 cm were obtained. Based on the hydraulic analysis, it is known that several points have velocities that exceed the maximum velocity for the concrete surface (v < 3 m/s), so it is necessary to build a drop structure with h = 1 m. The quantity take off and the volume are calculated by Civil 3D for cut and fill work 7824.07 m3 and 1389.79 m3, respectively.
In the current development in Vietnam, more and more new urban areas are planned to serve and develop socioeconomic development. However, the establishment of an overall system of planning, ...construction, management, and development for urban development is still facing many difficulties. Especially the use of “2D drawings” in urban design, management, and operation, which will cause limitations in optimal urban planning. The application of Building Information Model (BIM) technology in urban planning, management, and operation is the current integration trend that is in line with the national digital transformation plan in the 4.0 revolution. Hence, the application of BIM also faces certain challenges and difficulties. This study analyzes the basis and legal framework for applying BIM while considering the technical infrastructure projects using BIM, thereby assessing the advantages, disadvantages, challenges, and solutions, and assessing the suitability for the application of BIM in infrastructure projects in Vietnam.
Building information modelling (BIM) mulai diterapkan dalam kegiatan kontruksi di Indonesia, salah satunya pada pekerjaan saluran pengelak di Bendungan Margatiga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk ...mendeskripsikan contoh penerapan BIM pada kontruksi saluran pengelak bendungan yang menerapkan tingkatan BIM pada level 3D BIM berupa pemodelan tiga dimensi menggunakan Civil 3D dan 6D untuk menganalisa dampak pada lokasi kontruksi saluran pengelak bendungan berupa aliran banjir dengan aplikasi HEC-RAS. Dari perhitungan Q10 sebesar 789,10 m3/s menghasilkan model 3D BIM pada Civil 3D dengan lebar saluran 31 meter, tinggi 5 meter, serta kemiringan talud 2. Hal tersebut dapat menahan aliran banjir Q10 dan Q25 di Sungai Way Sekampung. Pada saluran pengelak terjadi aliran subkritis dengan kecepatan tertinggi 2,01 m/s dan dapat mereduksi banjir sebesar 22% untuk Q10 dan 21% untuk Q25. Hasil model 3D BIM tersebut selanjutnya diekstrak, kuantitas volume pekerjaannya melalui Civil 3D sebesar 148.994 m3 untuk pekerjaan galian tanah dan untuk 11.259 m3 untuk timbunan tanah.
سیل یکی از بلاهای طبیعی رایج است که میتواند زیرساختهای شهری و روستایی و جان و اموال را با خطر مواجه کند. هدف از انجام این پژوهش تهیه و تحلیل نقشه خطر سیل دو روستای خنچه و بارونق در امتداد بخشی از ...رودخانه سوک چم است. ابتدا نقشه توپوگرافی با استفاده از Google Earth و Global mapper ساخته شد. سپس با استفاده از نقشه توپوگرافی ساخته شده در محیط نرمافزار AutoCAD Civil 3D برای بازه مطالعاتی سطح ایجاد گردید. سپس با استفاده از سطح ساخته شده مقاطع عرضی، پروفیل طولی، کانال رودخانه، سواحل سیلگیر راست و چپ رودخانه سوک چم در محیط نرمافزار AutoCAD Civil 3D ساخته شد. برای شبیهسازی سیلاب در دوره بازگشتهای 25، 50، 100، 200 ساله، مقاطع عرضی ساخته شده به نرمافزار HEC RAS انتقال داده شد. برای تبدیل دبی حداکثر روزانه به دبی حداکثر لحظهای با توجه به مقدار P-value آزمون کولموگروف-اسمیرنوف (9/0) از روش فیل – استینر استفاده شد. نتایج حاصل از تحلیل فراوانی سیلاب نشان داد توزیع لوگ پیرسون نوع 3 مناسبترین توزیع است. بر اساس نتایج حاصل، سطح سیلگیری برای دوره بازگشتهای 25، 50، 100، 200 ساله به ترتیب 77/0، 9/0، 15/1، 47/1 کیلومترمربع به دست آمد. با توجه به نقشه خطر سیل در دوره بازگشت 100 ساله (پهنه پرخطر) به ترتیب حدود 5/41 و 5/4 درصد از دو روستای خنچه و بارونق در معرض خطر سیلاب متوسط تا خیلی زیاد قرار دارند. ایجاد دیوارههای ساحلی و ساماندهی رودخانه در طول مسیر عبور رودخانه از این دو روستا امری ضروری است که میتواند خطرات ناشی از سیل را تعدیل نماید. استفاده از نقشههای تهیه شده برای انجام اقدامات کنتـرل سـیل، سامانههای پیشبینی و هشدار سیل، بیمه سیل و بهطورکلی جهت اقدامات سازهای و غیرسـازهای مهـار سـیل در منطقه پیشنهاد میشود.

Different models of volume determination implemented within the software package AutoCAD Civil 3D have been shown. Bucket-wheel excavator are often used for the purposes of exploitation in the open cast mines. This paper presents the conceptual design of a system for volume determination of excavation by bucket wheel excavators in real time, based on GNSS technology.

Tramway system is the issue of this research project. Tramway can be defined as a system of transport used wholly or mainly for the carriage of passengers, which employs parallel rails that provide ...support and guidance for vehicles carried on flanged wheels, and has been designed to have a significant element which operates on line-of-sight on a highway.The main objective of this research project is focused on the determination of the best route for proposed tramway into Ramadi city. It also focuses on the other important design considerations. Origin-destination stations and four proposed routes have been selected based on navigation, surveying, and specifications by using GPS device, total station device, Civil 3D program and GIS software. Six main criteria with their sub criteria have been chosen, which are: accessibility, safety, economic, environment, population density and trips, and security. A comparative form for these criteria has been designed to facilitate the comparison process to select the best proposal among the four proposals.Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) method has been used to evaluate the proposals. The results of the analysis explained that the proposal1 is the best alternative among four alternatives to be an acceptable tramway route at Ramadi city.
