Cet article traite de l’imaginaire du biais « dialogique » comme principe à la fois complémentaire et antagoniste de La structure absente d’Umberto Eco. Pour Eco, une épistémologie de la différence ...vise à montrer les diverses manières de caractériser la structure dont la nature n’est pas, à son avis, un facteur unique. Et, comme nous le verrons, c’est pour penser le caractère épistémique du terme « structure » qu’Eco y ajouta le mot « absent ». Mais pas comme un déni : comme un doute, une ouverture et une possibilité sur ce que nous appellerons, pour l’instant, un crépuscule de la Raison, le tragique.
This research tends to explore the text Divergent (2011) from the perspective of hyperreality by using the framework of Jean Baudrillard (1983) and Umberto Eco (1990). Baudrillard (1983) proposed ...that hyperreality is the inability of one's conscious mind to distinguish between copy and reality. Eco (1990) called hyperreality as the fabrication of fake reality. The research is qualitative in nature and uses Murphy's (1972) model of character analysis to analyze identity distortion of the character Tris because of hyperreal simulation. This paper concludes that certain truth values associated with the character Tris based on simulations are hyperreal in the text Divergent which result in the distortion of her identity.
En Brasil, el fútbol, a pesar de ser un deporte que históricamente se constituyó como uno de los pilares de la construcción identitaria nacional, tardó en incorporarse como un objeto de estudio en el ...ámbito académico. Durante algunos años, la producción de investigaciones que tematizaban el fútbol solía ser escasa y marcada por una perspectiva apocalíptica en el sentido empleado por Umberto Eco. La publicación, en 1982, de la colección Universo do futebol, organizada por el antropólogo Roberto DaMatta, es un marco en la trayectoria de sistematización de la literatura académica sobre el fútbol. Este artículo pretende hacer un recorrido por la trayectoria de la construcción y del establecimiento de los estudios sobre la relación entre el deporte y el fútbol en Brasil, con énfasis en el campo de las Ciencias Sociales y de la Comunicación.
This article aims to examine the different ways in which the content of the Bible used to be transmitted in the Middle Ages and to provide an overview of the most common biblical topoi used in the ...medieval culture. We also aim to analyse the books of the Old and New Testaments from which the best-known medieval biblical topoi come and to cite some concrete examples from the medieval Romanian literature.
Desde un punto de vista semiótico, la fotografía todavía se considera un tipo diferente de signo. Entonces, ¿cómo se pueden estudiar las obras de imagen y texto formadas por fotografía y palabra? ...Este artículo sostiene que los textos de ficción exponen la naturaleza semiótica de las fotografías, mostrando que las fotografías son signos que difieren de sus referentes. Los textos de ficción e intermediales aquí estudiados son los de John Heartfield, Bertolt Brecht y W.G. Sebald: tres autores vinculados por la historia de Alemania. A la luz de la semiótica de Umberto Eco, las fotografías también pueden considerarse metáforas, capaces de aportar un nuevo tipo de iconicidad y superar su peso realista.
