Background and Objectives: The second part of the article about Vladimir V. Golubev consists of materials reflecting a significant period of his life from 1917 to 1930, which he spent in Saratov as a ...professor at Saratov University and other higher educational institutions of the city. Materials and Methods: The main milestones of the Saratov period of Vladimir V. Golubev are presented in accordance with the autobiographical and documentary materials stored in the archive of Saratov University, as well as his memoirs, the memoirs of his Saratov colleagues and students. His multifaceted (educational, scientific, organizational, educational) activities, the professorial environment are illuminated against the background of the socio-political situation characteristic of the 1920s (economic devastation, hunger, peasant unrest, difficult living conditions, ambiguous management decisions in the field of higher education). The "proletarianization" of higher education implemented by the authorities in the first post-revolutionary years was essentially reduced to the slogan: "You give higher education, bypassing secondary education!" In practice, this was expressed in the filling of universities with students who did not have the necessary previous education, in the class approach when choosing "nominees" for graduate school, giving the "proletarian students" managerial functions. Vladimir V. Golubev, as a rector, was also given the job of creating a pedagogical faculty of Saratov State University to replace the physics and mathematics department and some other divisions of the university. In 1922, during the rectorship of Vladimir V. Golubev, permission was obtained to assign the name of Nikolai G. Chernyshevsky to Saratov University. Conclusion: An analysis of the sources shows that during the years of work at Saratov University, the brilliant lecturing qualities of Vladimir V. Golubev and his great scientific gift were clearly manifested and formed.

The paper discusses the issue of children's rights from the perspective of presenting this topic to school students. It examines the opinions of college students - future teachers, on their level of ...preparedness for this role. States Parties to the Convention on the Rights of the Child, including Serbia, are tasked with establishing legislation and providing the conditions for its implementation, as well as with introducing the rights of the child in their educational policies. Serbian school curricula include the topics related to children's rights (at all educational levels), with the intention of teaching school students about their rights and creating school situations in which they will be able to participate, thus developing civic skills. The responsibility for this task lies with the teachers. The paper reports on the self-assessments of college students - future teachers, regarding their knowledge of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and their preparedness, acquired during their academic studies, to present the content of the Convention to school students. The qualitative methodology of focus group discussions was chosen for achieving this objective, with the opinions of a total of 38 second-, thirdand fourth-year students of the Faculty of Education in Sombor, divided into three focus groups, examined. The results suggest that future teachers assess the content on children's rights and participation as highly significant and that they view the role of teachers in the promotion of these values as comparably important. They also believe that school students should learn about rights, but also participate in daily activities. College students pointed out that, during their academic studies, they have attended courses at which they were taught about children's rights but that opportunities to implement such content in practice were lacking. Also, during their practical training in schools, they have not attended any classes or school situations in which children's rights and participation were delineated. The conclusion is that to teach school students about children's rights and participation more effectively, it is necessary to empower future teachers. A greater number of practical lessons, as well as the innovation of study programs focusing on the corpus of children's rights, are seen as viable solutions.

University curricula of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences usually strengthen different areas of professional intervention to their students. Physical activity for health, sports training, physical ...performance, sports management, and physical education stand out. Meanwhile, the sports referee role is commonly perceived by society as an authority that favors or limits the performance of athletes, as well as a rigid, non-flexible entity without major contributions to society in addition to those performed within their work context. The objective of this study was to compare the training on sports refereeing considered by the main university curricula of Physical Activity and Sports Sciences in Spain and Mexico; therefore, a qualitative and quantitative analysis was carried out, according to the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation in Spain and the Mexican Council for the Accreditation of Physical Culture Education, A.C. in Mexico. The results indicate that only two of the curricula analyzed out of fifty institutions offer content related to referee training in Spain, while in Mexico there are three out of sixteen. In addition, differences were observed in the approaches to the competencies and content of the subjects. It is concluded that the vast majority of university curricula of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences do not include subjects that develop knowledge or skills in sport refereeing, which implies that a large number of students do not receive competencies on the formative and disciplinary role that this figure can play both in the sport context and in society.
Worldwide, preschool is recognized as an important arena for the implementation ofeducation for sustainability (EfS). In Swedish preschools EfS has been a part of thenational curriculum since 2019, ...but little is known about what this means in practice. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to increase our understanding about preschoolteachers’ perspectives on teaching for sustainability. Using individual semi-structuredinterviews with 16 randomly selected preschool teachers in Sweden, the results ofwhich were analyzed thematically and then quantitatively, this study examines howteachers put EfS into practice. Four teaching practices were identified: actively presentteachers, children’s experiences as a basis for learning, children’s opportunity for agency –a democratic approach, and communication between children and teachers. Takentogether, these four teaching practices demonstrate a pluralistic teaching tradition. The analysis also demonstrates a holistic perspective on subject content where environmental, social and economic issues are addressed. A third result is that EfS is carriedout using three teaching strategies planned, spontaneous and semi-spontaneous. Theidentification of semi-spontaneous teaching is an important finding which is madepossible in created learning environments aiming to stimulate children’s agency, whichis of central importance in EfS and an important contribution from this study.

This study was conducted for the purpose of evaluating the healthy lifestyle behaviors of students at the Faculty of Education. The study sample consisted of 300 students who receive education at the ...faculty of education. The "Socio-demographic features form" and "Healthy Lifestyle Behavior Scale II (HLBS)" were used in the data collection stage of the study. The data were analyzed in the SPSS 23 environment using number, mean, percentage, analysis of variance, t-test, and correlation analysis. The Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney U tests were used as nonparametric tests. In order for the study to be carried out, the ethics committee approval from Artvin Çoruh University Ethics Committee, written permission from the institution where the study was conducted, and verbal approval from the participants were obtained. According to the findings of the study, the students’ point average for the HLBS was determined as 124.86 ± 1.092 points. The healthy lifestyle behaviors of students do not differ according to gender, family type, class, smoking, alcohol use and the presence of a chronic illness. However, as the number of individuals and siblings in the family increases, the healthy lifestyle behaviors of students decrease, and as the educational level of the mother and the economic level increase, the healthy lifestyle behaviors also increase. On the other hand, the educational level of the father is not related to the healthy lifestyle behaviors of students. In the light of the results of the study, it is suggested to carry out comparative studies with wider samples that examine the healthy lifestyle behaviors of students.
