Forest fires have become a major threat these days. The hazard posed by forest fires has increased globally. It has a detrimental effect on both human and forest ecosystems. Forest fires can be due ...to natural changes such as changes in the climate and the Greenhouse effect is due to human activities. Human activities are the major reason for forest fires interestingly. It is important to spot the fires early to reduce the major destruction and loss. In this project, we have proposed a system and methodology which is a wireless sensor network to identify forest fires in early stage. Our project will help to detect the fire in the early stage by using the sensor and intimate through a buzzer and a message to the administration of the forest, therefore the immediate necessary actions can be taken in time and can stop the fire. Administrative officers are constantly monitored. This system has many benefits and protects the environment, forest survivors, infrastructure, lives, and ecosystem. Saving our environment is a major thing in this developing country and world. Forest fire is a biggest natural and man-made calamity int he world. It’s a environment tragedy. Once the fire is not detected and it spreads over a huge area destroying everything, such destruction should be avoided and should save our forest habitats effort of this project is to create and implement a IoT based system that can sense and detect forest fires in early and notify to the responsible officials.
Internet of Things (IoT) based smart devices has been reshaping human life through providing assistance in making smarter decisions and yielding response to the users based on analysis of data. Among ...various aspects of life, patients require continuous care and uninterrupted observations and IoT makes this possible by providing various real-time health conditions of the patients. Specifically, IoT based health monitoring system act as a feasible and effective solution for the users and doctors. In this paper, a soft real-time health monitoring system based on application and web based monitoring portal is developed for the comatose patients. Using the developed system doctor can monitor and also update health data of patients. The system is developed using Raspberry pi microcomputer, sensors, and some connecting wires. The system collects all information like heart rate, blood pressure, urine output, temperature, humidity, and motion detection from sensors. It gives alerts if any parameter exceeds normal limit and it also updates status on the website and on the developed application.
Nowadays, robotics technology has become very popular in all fields of human life. Many robots have been already used in different applications such as indoor service, military undertaking, ...entertainment, healthcare service, etc. On the other hand, controlling robot remotely plays an important role in many areas when people cannot reach easily. Therefore, the aim of this work is to allow users to perform remote control experiments on a mobile robot through Bluetooth, Internet and SMS. The commands could be entered manually, using voice command, or using QR code. To limit the cost of the proposed system, the inexpensive (compared to more professional robot platforms) LEGO Mindstorm robot is used.
Monitoring merupakan kegiatan yang dilakukan untuk memantau, mengawasi, dan mengamati hal-hal tertentu pada suatu tempat. Laboratoroim Kakultas KomuniKasi dan Informatika (FKI) Universitas ...Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) telah melakukan monitoring dengan menggunakan CCTV, namun monitoring menggunakan CCTV terbatas hanya pada citra saja. Maka dari itu penulis bertujuan untuk membuat suatu sistem monitoring keadaan ruang Laboratorium Komputer yang akan bekerja selama 24 jam dalam satu hari. Sistem ini dirancang untuk melakukan monitoring suhu di dalam ruangan, asap di dalam ruangan serta gerakan untuk mendeteksi apakah terdapat aktifitas di dalam ruangan. Selain itu monitoring juga akan dilakukan pada cahaya untuk mengetahui kondisi pencahayaan untuk menentukan kondisi lampu di dalam ruangan serta arus listrik di dalam ruang tersebut. Monitoring dapat dilakukan secara real time melalui android smartphone dengan menggunakan koneksi internet, selain itu pengguna juga akan mendapatkan notifikasi melalui aplikasi android smartphone dan short message service (SMS). Server yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah firebase dengan fitur real time database. Selanjutnya hasil dari penelitian akan dibahas pada artikel ini.
The necessity of learning assistance for elementary student is to ensure that students can absorb the learning well. In order to keep track of the student's progress, the teacher needs to know how ...and what the student has done while at home. The FeedbackMe application was created to become a liaison between teachers and parents during distance learning. Firebase Realtime Database is implemented to support messages to be delivered quickly. The purpose of this study is to implement the Firebase Realtime Database into the FeedbackMe application to support remote student learning. The system development method used is the Waterfall method which is a systematic and sequential method. The results of this study indicate that all the features in the application and also the application of Firebase can run properly and correctly. Meanwhile, testing of respondents regarding user satisfaction results in the amount of 89.28% from teacher, and respondents from parents got 89.73% satisfaction.
Smartphones and other connected devices rely on data services, such as Web Services (WS), Google Cloud Messaging (GCM) and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), to share the information they collect or ...use. Traditionally, these services were classified according to the average number of bytes transmitted or their delivery time. However, when dealing with battery-operated devices, another important parameter to be taken into account is their power consumption. Furthermore, software designers and developers often do not consider the efficiency of a data communication system, but are simply concerned about ease-of-use and response time. In this paper, we compare FCM, GCM and two types of WS, namely Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) and REpresentational State Transfer (REST) WS in terms of delay, data efficiency, and power consumption. The final outcome is that RESTful WS outperforms all others, making GCM and FCM a viable alternative only when the amount of data to be transmitted is very limited, or when the mobile application requires the advanced services offered by FCM or GCM only.

In this paper, we present the research studies at our laboratory to achieve building prototypes of smart distributed renewable energy micro-power plants. Four types of micro-power plants are being developed; a 1.5 kW Wind Turbine Emulator based on a Double Fed Induction Generator, a 1.5 kW Wind Turbine Emulator based on a Synchronous Generator, a 1.5 kW Photovoltaic system with Grid Tie Inverters and finally, a 250 W Photovoltaic micro-power plant connected through a self-made single-phase Grid Tie Inverter.
In addition, we have a simulated power grid with conventional power plants, power system stabilizers and automatic voltage controllers and other modelled power plants running in real time on embedded processors (Raspberry PI3). To ensure the data flow between all these micro-power plants and the simulated power grid, we use a Firebase Database; the experimental benches send data and receive orders to/from the database thanks to Wi-Fi connected microcontrollers ESP8266. Load Flow and Transient Stability studies are considered.

Sumber Trijaya Lestari merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang digital dan telah mengembangkan berbagai macam usaha yang dituangkan ke dalam aplikasi di berbagai macam platform yaitu web dan ...mobile. Push notification disertakan dalam aplikasi yang dibangun supaya pengguna bisa mendapatkan informasi terkini berkaitan dengan penggunaan aplikasi-aplikasi tersebut. Kendala yang dihadapi saat ini adalah, setiap aplikasi memiliki masing-masing dashboard dan pengirim harus mencari token client target secara manual pada basis data, sehingga menyebabkan kinerja developer yang melakukan push notification menjadi tidak optimal. Hal ini disebabkan karena push notification hanya dapat dibuat oleh developer atau orang yang memahami Firebase, penggunaan Postman serta harus memiliki akses ke basis data. Oleh karena itu, pada penelitian ini dirancang sebuah aplikasi push notification center untuk mempermudah dalam pengiriman push notification dari setiap aplikasi melalui satu dashboard. Aplikasi ini dikembangkan berbasis web dengan memanfaatkan teknologi Java, JavaScript, basis data MySQL dan Framework Spring Boot. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian yang dilakukan kepada developer dan pengguna aplikasi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem push notification berbasis web ini dapat berfungsi dengan baik serta dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan yang ada.
