Al utilizar la base de datos con la información recolectada por la institución, como fuente importante para la integración y la recopilación de información en el sector educativo, se considera cada institución como una entidad, entonces se podría afirmar que todas las personas que interactúan con ella son la población, la cual necesita estar conectada y comunicada entre sí para subsistir. Bajo las premisas expuestas, se diseña una aplicación que tiene como finalidad reunir en una sola plataforma a los usuarios que interactúan en cada institución, de tal manera que se mantengan comunicados y conectados entre sí al definir roles específicos, los cuales tendrán habilitadas funciones específicas para cada tipo de usuario.

Desde su nacimiento, la ganadería ha tenido diversos cambios en cuanto a la identificación de cada individuo inicialmente se utilizaban marcas de hierro que se calentaban en fuego, señales que cada propietario definía para identificar a los animales de la finca, la realización de cortes en la oreja también es un método que se usa con ese fin; en la actualidad y con el avance de la tecnología la mayor parte de las fincas ganaderas están optando por el uso de dispositivos RIFD, ya que contar con un sistema de identificación favorece tanto al animal como al propietario, debido a que se puede tener a la mano información de cada animal que es de relativa importancia al momento de su comercialización, y se convierte en un mecanismo de garantía sanitaria, es necesario mantener la identificación de los animales o de los productos que se generen a lo largo de la cadena de producción, comercialización y transformación desde su origen con el fin de realizar investigaciones epidemiológicas o establecer acciones correctivas en beneficio de la comunidad consumidora (PRONAGRO, 2009).
Menurut World Health Organisation (WHO), lansia adalah seseorang yang telah memasuki usia 60 tahun keatas. Berdasarkan data tercatat dari Radio Suara Surabaya mulai Januari 2017 sampai dengan Juli ...2019, Radio Suara Surabaya telah menerima 618 laporan pendengar tentang orang hilang karena demensia atau pikun. Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk memberikan alternatif agar tetap dapat mengawasi keberadaan lansia dengan memanfaatkan modul GPS U-Blox Neo 6m dan mikrokontroler NodeMCU ESP8266. Selain itu pengawas dapat menggunakan aplikasi android untuk mengimplementasikan teknologi geofence. Hasil dari penelitian yang dilakukan memberikan hasil dengan pengujian modul GPS U-Blox Neo 6m diletakkan pada lokasi dan kondisi yang berbeda menghasilkan penerimaan sinyal informasi didapat dari 3-9 satelit informasi yang mengirimkan sinyal. Pengujian selisih jarak dilakukan pada 10 titik lokasi yang berbeda menghasilkan selisih jarak dari 1 m hingga 8 m. selain itu, terdapat pengujian delay pengiriman data yang dilakukan pada waktu yang berbeda dari pagi, siang, dan malam hari yang menghasilkan delay mulai dari 0.2 detik hingga 1 detik. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa implementasi geofence menghasilkan aplikasi geofence dapat menerapkan geofence bagi lansia dengan penggambaran radius lingkaran sebesar 100 m berdasarkan titik pusat dari sebuah lokasi yang ditentukan. Penggunaan GPS U-Blox Neo 6m memberikan hasil dengan perhitungan rata-rata selisih jarak sebesar 3.7m
This research aimed to build a platform to carry out the thesis mentoring process which was periodic, real-time, systemized, and well-integrated in Ciputra University in Surabaya. The researcher used ...Google Firebase technology provided by Google and built it on an Android-based platform. The method used was the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model. It was divided into six stages of the process: requirement analysis, system design, implementation, system testing, system deployment, and system maintenance. Data collection methods used were observation and interviews conducted to the final project coordinator in the study program. The results show that system has six main features including progress overview of thesis, chat room, guidance schedule, guidance book, important date, and announcement. Moreover, the thesis mentoring system is easy to use and consists of easyto-understand menus. After going through the process of analysis, this system is very helpful in scheduling guidance, monitoring the progress of student thesis work, and managing announcement and important date.

Vehicle tracking application is very important to track the movement of vehicles such as bus, train and taxi. One of the issues in vehicle tracking system is the accuracy of estimation time. With the ...help of technology, it is possible for the vehicle operators to provide accurate estimated time of arrival to the users. This paper aims to improve the accuracy of vehicle estimated time so that users can expect the arrival of the vehicle. An application is proposed in this paper and it uses Global Positioning System (GPS) on Android smartphone to determine the location of a vehicle and the coordinates is stored in Firebase Real-time Database which optimized for syncing of data in real-time. Furthermore, Google distance matrix Application Programming Interface (API) is used to calculate the estimated arrival time of the vehicle. Distance matrix API is able to return time of travel between two points, based on recommended route and traffic information. The prototype of application went through several stages of software testing and evaluation. Based on the users feedback the system is better in terms of estimating the arrival time.
The two-tank water system is common practice for the storage and distribution of water in many homes. Water is transported via a pipeline network from the storage tank (lower tank) to the ...distribution tank (overhead tank) using an electric pumping machine. Due to limited control in the existing pumping system, water wastage becomes inevitable. Determining the quality of water in the overhead tank before supply in the home is still unaddressed. In this work, an integrated Android mobile App and a control system were developed to assess the water quality, perform level check in the overhead tank, and activate intelligent pumping control. An ultrasonic pulse-echo technique was used for water level checks, while the water turbidity and pH signals were used for water quality checks. Three-level control conditions (LC_1, LC_2, LC_3) and two water quality check conditions (QC_1 and QC_2) were devised and used in the intelligent control algorithm of the system. Control valve1 regulates the flushable poor water quality while valve2 regulates the house's supply of good water quality. The absolute relative error between the expected time and the system time of filling the tank level was observed to be less than 10% when the water volume is less than 81%. Hence, distortion in the sensory signals increases and worsen as the water level approaches the ultrasonic sensor position. The poor internet signal network was observed to affect the real-time monitoring and automation of the system control through delay in system responses to commands. However, the average recorded response time of the system is 3 s, and it could be less in the situation of good internet network services.

With the real ...time features that have been developed in mobile applications today, this problem can be overcome. This study aims to implement the push notification function in applications used by parents and teachers in school. This application is useful as a connector that provides an agenda between users, so all parents can find out the information agenda in real time. We are using prototyping method which consists of the stages of gathering needs, building prototyping, evaluating prototyping, coding, system test, system evaluating, and system implementation. The system built runs well that proved by the blackbox testing carried out. The results of the test show that all the features of the system run intact and well.
Hajj and Umrah are worship activities carried out by Muslims around the world. The problem that often occurs during the implementation of the Hajj and Umrah is that pilgrims are often lost and ...separated from the group. Pilgrims also find it difficult to look for prayers because they are still using guidebooks, they have to look for prayers one by one in the feeling of a busy and hot holy land. The case study was carried out at Dago Wisata Internasional. The solution used is utilizing geofencing technology and Firebase Cloud Messaging that allows the process of monitoring pilgrims to be carried out easily and the pilgrims can get prayer notifications in accordance with the location of pilgrims. Research supporting data obtained from interviews with employees of Dago Wisata Internasional and literature studies. Based on testing on the application that has been built, the following results are obtained 93.33% supervisor states that this application simplifies the process of monitoring pilgrims, 84% worshipers claim to be able to ask for help easily from the supervisor using this application, and 86% worshipers claim this application makes it easy for pilgrims in looking for the practice deeds.
Fire due to Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) gas leak is one of the disasters that still often occurs in the community. Community ignorance of safety standards in using LPG gas is one reason. Fires ...can be prevented if at the time of the LPG gas leak can be detected earlier. Therefore we need a system that can monitor the condition of gas leaks and fires remotely. Internet of things (IoT) technology can be applied to this monitoring system so that information on LPG gas leaks and fires can be monitored remotely. The Internet of Things (IoT) based LPG and Fire leak monitoring system is a concept that utilizes internet connectivity between smartphone devices connected to sensor devices. The devices used to support this system include NodeMCU ESP8266 as a microcontroller and as a liaison to the internet, MQ-6 gas sensors and flame sensors as sensors for detecting gas and fire leaks, buzzers as alarms, and fans as neutralizing gas levels in the room. Data obtained by the sensor will be uploaded to the database via the internet and can be accessed through an android application. The results of the design show that the android application can display notifications when a gas leak or fire occurs. In testing the performance of data transmission, the results show that the highest data transmission delay is 64,61 seconds, and the lowest delay time is 61,56 seconds, the highest throughput value is 747,6 bits/second, and the lowest value is 285,4 bits/second.
