Film Pink Pastel with visual documentation, animation and live action (called Trisikon; three situation and condition) is used in response to the dangerous phenomenon of ‘idam pica’ (pica cravings). ...The writer tried to make a film that is not a cliché, not just a play of dramaturgy, gesture, mimic, and exploratory dialogue from the actor himself. The author explored the visual (mise en scene) by dissecting cliches and not cliches artwork. All action ranging from phenomena, maternal ecstasy, to visual realization. It is intended to create random Audio visual spaces, chaotic, and broken. The combination of documentation, animation, and live action in this film is able to realize the Deleuze’s Logic Sensation theory, that there were two powers owned by chaos at the same time, destructive power, and life power. The modified form in the film Pink Pastel can help the filmmakers to open the possibility of wider cinema visual.
The objective of change detection (CD) is to identify the altered region between dual-temporal images. In pursuit of more precise change maps, numerous state-of-the-art (SOTA) methods design neural ...networks with robust discriminative capabilities. The CNN-Transformer model is specifically designed to integrate the strengths of the Convolutional Neural Network and Transformer, facilitating effective coupling of feature information. However, previous CNN-Transformer studies have not effectively mitigated the interference of feature distribution differences as well as pseudo-variations between two images due to cloud occlusion, imaging conditions and other factors. ln this paper, we propose a domain adaptive and interactive differential attention network (DA-IDANet). This model incorporates domain adaptive constraints (DAC) to mitigate the interference of pseudo-variations by mapping the two images to the same deep feature space for feature alignment. Furthermore, we designed the interactive differential attention module (IDAM), which effectively improves the feature representation and promotes the coupling of interactive differential discriminant information, thereby minimizing the impact of irrelevant information. Experiments on four datasets demonstrate the superior validity and robustness of our proposed model compared to other SOTA methods, as evident from both quantitative analysis and qualitative comparisons. The code will be available online (https:// https://github.com/Jyl199904/DA-IDANet).
Yagya is the pillar of Vedic culture. It is an integral part of our sacred customs. Yagya is mostly considered as a ceremony incurring several steps. It is merely physical aspect of yagya in which ...after initial rituals and mantra chanting herbs are offered to fire as sacrifice. The physical process in itself is beneficial in several aspects for individuals, environment, nature etc. However the significance of yagya is not restricted to this sacrificial fire-process. It has much wider philosophy and deeper meaning. Ancient scripts emphasize more onto lessons associated with it for life and gives an insight towards the yagyaiya life style associated with it. The phrase ‘Idam-na-mama’ meant ‘This is not mine’. ‘Idam-na-mama’ signifies the central theme of Yagya. Life lived in accordance with the lessons from yagya experience holistic and cohesive development, many modern research findings have evidenced these phenomena.

The African Hyaenodontida, mainly known from the Late Eocene and Early Oligocene Fayum depression in Egypt, show a very poor diversity in oldest Paleogene localities. Here we report new ...hyaenodontidans found in the late Middle Eocene deposits of Dur At-Talah (Central Libya), known to have recorded the earliest radiation of African anthropoids. The new hyaenodontidan remains are represented by dental and postcranial specimens comprising the historical material discovered by R.J.G. Savage in the last century and that of the recent Franco-Libyan campaigns. This material includes two apterodontines, in particular a subcomplete skeleton of Apterodon langebadreae nov. sp., bringing new postcranial elements to the fossil record of the genus Apterodon. Anatomical analysis of the postcranial remains of Dur At-Talah suggests a semi-aquatic lifestyle for Apterodon, a completely unusual locomotion pattern among hyaenodontidans. We also perform the first cladistic analysis of hyaenodontidans including apterodontines: Apterodon and Quasiapterodon appear close relatives to "hyainailourines", in particular to the African Oligo-Miocene Metasinopa species. Apterodon langebadreae nov. sp. could be the most primitive species of the genus, confirming an African origin of the Apterodontinae and a further dispersion event to Europe before the early Oligocene. These data enhance our knowledge of early hyaenodontidan diversification into Africa and underline how crucial is the understanding of their evolutionary history for the improvement of Paleogene paleobiogeographic scenarii.
► Tidal sedimentary structures are characteristic of the New Idam and Lower Sarir Unit. ► Clinoforms are common large scale sedimentary features in the New Idam Unit. ► Microconglomeratic sandstones ...occur only in the upper part of the Sarir Unit. ► Bioturbations are common throughout the New Idam Unit.
The Dur At Talah escarpment is exposed in the Abu Tumayam Trough at the southern part of the Sirt Basin, central Libya. The cliff (∼145m high and ∼150km long) is oriented along an E–W axis and faces southward. Only a few field studies have been previously carried out in this area, and these were mainly focused on the succession’s famous vertebrate fossil-content. The reconstruction of the depositional environments, which is the purpose of this paper, remained poorly documented. In this study, the uppermost Eocene rock succession composing the Dur At Talah escarpment is divided into two stratigraphic units: the New Idam Unit at the base composed of highly bioturbated fine sand/claystone alternations, and the Sarir Unit at the top dominated by medium to very coarse grading sometimes to microconglomeratic sandstones. This complete succession is built up of shallow marine (New Idam Unit) to fluvial (upper part of Sarir Unit) deposits passing through a “marine/fluvial” transition zone (lower Sarir Unit). The stratigraphic succession suggests a global regressive trend. The marine part of the New Idam Unit is dominated by deposits attributed to tidal depositional environments including tidal flat, tidal channel and tidal bars as well as biostroms of oyster shells at the base of the unit. The lower part of the Sarir Unit appears to be deposited in a fluvial influenced, tide-dominated environment. The upper part of the Sarir Unit, made of coarse-grained to microconglomeratic sandstones interbedded with paleosoil horizons, is interpreted as being fluvial.
: Two new primitive macroscelideans, Eotmantsoius perseverans gen. et sp. nov. and Nementchatherium rathbuni sp. nov. from the late Middle or Late Eocene locality of Dur At‐Talah, Libya, are ...described. Eotmantsoius is known from a single tooth and is characterized by low crown height, isolated conules, and lack of a preprotocrista and prehypocrista. Based on these characters, it appears to be more plesiomorphic than Chambius (late Early Eocene, Chambi, Tunisia), which was, to date, universally accepted as the oldest and most basal macroscelidean. Eotmantsoius appears, however, somewhat derived in having an entostyle, a pericone, a shorter mesial cingulum and larger intercusp valleys. The phylogenetic position of Eotmantsoius is unclear. The second new species, N. rathbuni, allows a reassessment of Nementchatherium. We suggest that it is the most derived of the herodotiines in having long preprotocrista and prehypocrista, reduced M2/m2, a robust entostyle twinned with the hypocone on M1 and the posterior aspect of the root of the maxillary jugal process placed along the length of M2. Nementchatherium rathbuni appears more derived than N. senarhense, from the Eocene locality of Bir El Ater, Algeria, in having smaller m2‐3 with no paraconid, a smaller hypoconulid on m2 and a more reduced talonid on m3 (with smaller hypoconid and entoconid). Nementchatherium rathbuni also has, distal to the m3, a coronoid canal. This character has commonly been proposed as a synapomorphy for paenungulates (e.g. proboscideans, sirenians and hyracoids); we investigate the possibility that it unites macroscelideans and paenungulates, as the superordinal clade Afrotheria suggests. Comparisons reveal that a coronoid canal also occurs in several nonafrotherian orders (lagomorphs, xenarthrans, artiodactyls and perissodactyls), suggesting that is not an exclusive synapomorphy for paenungulates plus macroscelideans. Moreover, the homology of the character within paenungulates is doubtful.
Abstract Introduction Single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) imaging of the serotonin transporter (SERT) in the brain is a useful tool for examining normal physiological functions and ...disease states involving the serotonergic system. The goal of this study was to develop an improved SPECT radiotracer with faster kinetics than the current leading SPECT tracer, 123 IADAM, for selective SERT imaging. Methods The in vitro binding affinities of (2-(2′-((dimethylamino)methyl)-4′-iodophenylthio)benzenamine) (FlipADAM) ( 1c ), were determined using Hampshire pig kidney cells stably overexpressing the serotonin, norepinephrine (NET) or dopamine transporter (DAT). Localization of 125 IFlipADAM ( 1c ) was evaluated through biodistribution and autoradiography in male Sprague Dawley rats, and the specificity of binding was assessed by injecting selective SERT or NET inhibitors prior to 125 IFlipADAM ( 1c ). Results FlipADAM ( 1c ) displayed a high binding affinity for SERT ( Ki =1.0 nM) and good selectivity over NET and DAT binding (43-fold and 257-fold, respectively). 125 IFlipADAM ( 1c ) successfully penetrated the blood brain barrier, as evidenced by the brain uptake at 2 min (1.75% dose/g). 125 IFlipADAM( 1c ) also had a good target to non-target (hypothalamus/cerebellum) ratio of 3.35 at 60 min post-injection. In autoradiography studies, 125 IFlipADAM ( 1c ) showed selective localization in SERT-rich brain regions such as the thalamic nuclei, amygdala, dorsal raphe nuclei and other areas. Conclusion 125 IFlipADAM ( 1c ) exhibited faster clearance from the brain and time to binding equilibrium when compared to 125 I2-(2′-((dimethylamino)methyl)-phenylthio)-5-iodophenylamine 125 IADAM ( 1b ) and a higher target to non-target ratio when compared to 125 I5-iodo-2-(2′-((dimethylamino)methyl)-phenylthio)benzyl alcohol 125 IIDAM ( 1a ). Therefore, 123 IFlipADAM ( 1c ) may be an improved SPECT tracer for imaging SERT.
The Cyber Security Division of Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology's Homeland Security Advanced Research Projects Agency is prototyping data labeling and data segmentation ...services that leverage dynamic fine-grained access control to protect information considered sensitive and/or related to privacy, civil rights, and civil liberties (P/CRCL). Prototype operationalizes significant work that has already been completed in the Information Sharing Environment (ISE) and the schemas and documentation available in National Information Exchange Model (NIEM) Information Exchange Package Documentation (IEPD) for Critical Infrastructure and Key Resources fusion center information sharing requirements. This paper describes three Unified Modeling Language (UML) use cases, concept of operations, and architecture for using dynamic fine-grained access control, data labeling, and data segmentation to anonymize, mask, or redact data that might be shared by a Fusion Center in accordance with organizational, jurisdictional, and Community of Interest (COI) laws, regulations, and policies.
Provider: - Institution: - Data provided by Europeana Collections- Artefact! All metadata published by Europeana are available free of restriction under the Creative Commons CC0 1.0 Universal Public Domain Dedication.
