During his administration, Lula led his country through reforms that lifted tens of millions out of poverty. Here, John D. Exploring the common reference framework requirement, the article emphasizes the new International Standard Name Identifier (ISNI) potential, which allows to uniquely identify the subjects involved in the creative field. The future outlook can be further enhanced by involving additional metadata mapping that relates books, people, places, data, other books and other references in a possible linked data form, within which priority should be given in common public identifiers, related semantic mapping layers and shared vocabularies.

As Digital Media develops into a mature market, the proper referencing of digital content is increasingly critical. The Identification of Parties who contributes to content is key to ensure efficient ...discovery services and royalty tracking. Far from being simple numbers, Party Identifiers such as International Standard Name Identifiers (ISNI) are built on rigorous structures meeting the requirements of diverse media such as books, music or films. Designed to accurately identify Natural Persons and Legal Entities alike, Party Identifiers must also support language variances, cultural diversity and stringent data privacy regulations.
This study aims to find a method to adapt Korean bibliographic records to the Functional Requirements for Bibliographic Records (FRBR) structure. It also intends to verify that this conversion is ...possible without main entry or uniform headings because there is no rule for choice and form of the main headings in the current Korean Cataloging Rules. In this article we reviewed the role of identifiers and role indicators for FRBRizing. Also, we analyzed the characteristics of the Korean cataloging environment, focusing on the bibliographic records and authority records based on the current cataloging rules. As a result, we suggested the methodology for FRBRizing Korean bibliographic records by the combination of identifiers and role indicators. Although there is not much information about global identifiers or relator codes in bibliographic records based on the KORMARC at present, the FRBRizing method using identifiers and role indicators would be more effective for the global and networked information environment than the method using main entry or uniform headings.
