Although many authors have written about Valvasor's probate inventories none of them has undertaken an analysis of the books that remained at the Bogenperk castle and in Krsko after his death. The ...article briefly presents the four inventories that follow each other chronologically and have been named after the place in which they had been created, namely in Bogensperk, Krsko, Ljubljana, and Knezija. It was possible, through an investigation of online catalogs, to determine most of the book titles that in the inventories were noted only approximately or were merely described, as well as the majority of their authors and the place and date of their publication. An analysis of the inventories of Bogensperk and Krsko gives an insight into Valvasor's plans that due to his untimely death were never realized. //ABSTRACT IN SLOVENE: O Valvasorjevih zapuscinskih inventarjih so pisali ze stevilni avtorji, vendar se nihce ni lotil analize zadnjih Valvasorjevih knjig, ki so ostale za njim na Bogensperku in v Krskem. Na kratko so predstavljeni vsi stirje inventarji, ki so poimenovani po kraju in si kronolosko sledijo: Bogensperk, Krsko, Ljubljana in Knezija. Prek spletnih katalogov se je dalo dolociti skoraj vse naslove, ki so v samih inventarjih vecinoma le priblizni ali opisani, ter vecino avtorjev, krajev in letnic izdaj. Analiza obeh seznamov knjig daje vpogled v Valvasorjeve neuresnicene nacrte, ki jih je prehitela prezgodnja smrt.
An inventory of butterfly fauna was carried out in 2008 within the southern part of the Ecological Important Area »the Sava River between Radeče and the state border with Croatia« with the aim of ...evaluating the most important areas for butterflies. Butterfly fauna was surveyed within a study area of 32 km2, using the transect method. Twenty-one combined habitat types were included in the transect lines, with a total length of 19.2 km. The following parameters were used to evaluate the conservation importance of the combined habitat types: species richness of the combined habitat type, population density of species in combined habitat type, total population density of combined habitat type, maximum population density of species in combined habitat type, number of species with maximum population density in combined habitat type, number of threatened species in combined habitat type and number of threatened species with maximum population density in combined habitat type. A total of 69 species of butterflies (38% of Slovene butterfly fauna) were recorded, 10 of which are threatened on national or European level. The most important combined habitat types for butterflies are extensively managed dry grasslands, abandoned dry grasslands, some types of semi-intensively used grasslands, some types of ruderal communities, and dry woodland rides and edges.On the basis of the distribution of the most important combined habitat types in the study area, four important areas for butterflies were designated, with a total area of 6.6 km2. They are important for preserving threatened species, ecological specialists and other rare or locally distributed species in the sub-pannonian part of SE Slovenia.

Based on seismic reflection profiles recorded in the last ten years in the frame of the investigations for assessment of earthquake hazard at the location of the Krško nuclear power plant, and taking ...into account relevant geological and gravimetric data as well asresults of deep boreholes, two structural model of the pre-Tertiary basement in the Eastern part of the Kr{ko basin were constructed. In the first model the depth contours of the pre- Tertiary basement were drawn by hand, and in the second model the radial based functioninterpolation method was applied. In the Eastern part of the Kr{ko basin two depressions were distinguished. The Western one – Raka depression is smaller and shallower (max. depth of 1600 m), meanwhile the Eastern one – Globoko depression is larger and deeper(max. depth of 2050 m). In-between is a saddle at Drnovo where the pre-Tertiary basement lies at the depth of approx. 1000 m. Three-dimensional model will be used in further studies as is seismological modelling of the influence of the shape of the sedimentary basinon the seismic ground motion in case of an earthquake.
The paper presents the RELAP5/mod3.3 analysis of natural circulation cooldown with one inactive loop for Nuclear Power Plant Krško (NEK). The aim of the analysis is to determine the limiting cooldown ...rates during operator recovery actions to minimize the effect of flow stagnation in inactive loop. Since this is typical asymmetrical transient, the RELAP5/mod3.3 NEK model with split reactor vessel model was developed (models of the reactor vessel and core were axially divided in two parts) and used for this analysis. The several transients of cooldown, with one inactive loop, for different time after shutdown (different decay heat) were performed. The extreme conservative assumptions were applied for the analyses, i.e. the complete loss of feedwater (FW) and auxiliary feedwater (AF), including turbine driven (TD) AF pump, and the cooldown has started after the SG is completely dry (inactive). The analyses show that the cooldown rate shall be significantly reduced, and, based on the results the procedure ES-0.2 “Natural Circulation Cooldown” was modified.
Sinjsko polje je krško polje i nalazi se u središnjem dijelu rijeke Cetine. Obuhvaća 62 km2, a većim je dijelom meliorirano s povoljnim uvjetima za poljoprivredu. Za analizu suše u ovome radu ...primijenjeni su standarizirani indeks oborine (SPI) i standardizirani indeks protoka (SSI). Razmatrani su meterološki podaci sa stanice Sinj i hidrološki podaci sa postaja Han i Grab iz razdoblja 1981-2010. Pomoću vrijednosti SPI i SSI određena su sušna razdoblja koja su izražena pripadnim trajanjem, intenzitetom i magnitudom.
Containment building is the final barrier for radioactive releases from a
nuclear power plant (NPP). Preserving its integrity will minimize these releases
even in a case of a severe accident with ...core degradation and melt discharge in the
containment accompanied with the pressure and temperature increase. Installation
of a venting system with ability to filter radioactive fission products is a preferred
way to deal with the issue in present and future NPPs, especially after the
Fukushima accident. Such system, called passive containment filtered venting
system (PCFV), was installed in 2013 in the NPP Krško. Thermal hydraulic model
of the PCFV system which included aerosol and iodine filters, associated pipings
and valves was developed for the best-estimate computer code RELAP5. Main
results and discussion are presented and compared with relevant plant
documentation.
The Krško basin with its thermal springs is a syncline, filled with low permeable Tertiary and some Quaternary sediments. Their thickness reaches about 1.8 km in its central eastern part. This is ...perceivable also in geotherms reflecting a conductive temperature field. In the syncline basement, especially in Triassic and Jurassic carbonates, but less in Cretaceous rocks, convective thermal field predominates. The syncline pattern and structure have been determined from the results of gravimetric, seismic and geoelectrical measurements and deep drilling since 1959. The most important geothermal anomaly is the Čatež field with the greatest concentration of investigations. There, the highest borehole temperatures have been reached, ranging from 50 to 64 °C. Geothermal anomalies at other localities have been less investigated, and temperatures do not exceed 36 °C. Deep boreholes which were available for geothermal measurements are found mostly along the southern rim of the basin. In much wider area the only source of data for the construction of geotherms were geoelectrical soundings, applied to elaborate geothermal maps and cross-sections. This was enabled by a conversion from resistivity and borehole lithology into temperature data, using one-dimensional simplified solution of Laplace’s equation. In such a way an approximative knowledge of geothermal conditions below surface and beyond known geothermal anomalies has been extended. Circulation of meteoric water into few kilometers deep fissured and fractured hot zones is the only heating possibility for thermal water in the Čatež field. Water circulation is probably the deepest there than elsewhere in the Krško basin. Taking into account all information collected until now, we assume that geothermal reservoir could extend at least 2–2.5 km deep below the surface.

The start of recording the Slovenian film named SPARE PARTS. The film takes place in Krško, a small industrial town near the southern Slovenian border with Croatia. Ludvik, the protagonist of the film, every night illegally transports refugees from Croatian border to Italy. Chief sends him a young and inexperienced assistant Rudi. He is put up for a few trials and is soon taken as one of his. They transport refugees from all over the world almost every night. Rudi got rid his moral concerns very quickly and become tough and relentless. Hope for a better future that embodies Europe for the refugees, is being projected trough human drama of the protagonists.
