Namen članka je predstaviti kakovost družbene infrastrukture izbranih kratkih oskrbnih prehranskih verig v Mestni občini Ljubljana in njen vpliv na varovanje virov, zmanjšanje odpadne hrane in ...embalaže. V raziskavi smo obravnavali šest ponudnikov, vključenih v kratke oskrbne prehranske verige z zabojčki, skupnim naročanjem in partnerskim kmetovanjem. Presoja objektov s pomočjo smernic trajnostne gradnje BNB (Bewertungssystem Nachhaltiges Bauen) je pokazala slabo kakovost in pomanjkljivo družbeno infrastrukturo. V pogovoru z intervjuvanci smo spoznali, da si želijo urejena in lahko dostopna prevzemna mesta z objekti, ki bi omogočali dobre pogoje za ljudi in živila. Mestna občina Ljubljana ima glede na bližnje podeželje z dobrimi pogoji za ekstenzivno in ekološko kmetijsko pridelavo še veliko možnosti za povečanje samooskrbe s kakovostno domačo hrano, ob tem pa bo morala poskrbeti za razvoj družbene infrastrukture.
The article examines the musical performance activities of the pianist, teacher, conductor and music director Josef Zöhrer (1841–1916), one of the central figures of Ljubljana’s musical life in the ...second half of the nineteenth century and the early twentieth century, at the Ljubljana Philharmonic Society. Over the course of almost half a century of performing and teaching Zöhrer had an enormous impact on musical culture in present-day Slovenia.
Purpose: The aim of our study was to analyse the characteristics of the active lifestyle of adolescents and relations to some environmental correlates in the city of Ljubljana.
Methods: The ...characteristic of active lifestyle on the sample of 269 students of The Secondary School of Nursing Ljubljana (206 females, 63 men), aged 16-18 years) via an online questionnaire were evaluated. Descriptive statistics and Fisher’s exact test was used (at p < 0.05 - 5 %. level). In the second part, half-structured interviews were conducted, with former students of same school (no. 6); to evaluated their approach to physical education hours activities, their general active lifestyle and their evaluation of the environmental correlates factors: physical (facilities, equipment), social (social support and social norms) or institutional (policies).
Results: Results show that the majority of students (44.96 %) were physically active at least two to three times per week. The students partly agree (3.7/5) that sports activities play an essential role in their general lifestyle. Furthermore, they care about leading a healthy lifestyle (3.7/5), eating healthy food (3.7/5). Students evaluated physical factors as appropriate (in municipality 76.15%, at the state level 71.49%), and social (parents) support as appropriate. The former students are on the opinion that physical environmental factors around their school (facilities, equipment) are optimal, but they regret, that they were not used enough; not during PE lessons, neither in leisure time.
Conclusion: Based on our results, we propose better cooperation between all included factors, which can support improvement of active lifestyle of adolescents.
Grobišče na Dvorišču SAZU v Ljubljani z več kot 300 žganimi grobovi iz mlajše bronaste in starejše železne dobe je še vedno eno ključnih najdišč za razumevanje gorenjsko-ljubljanske ...skupine. Nove raziskave na Kongresnem trgu so razkrile grobišče, ki se v mnogo vidikih razlikuje od tistega na Dvorišču SAZU. Prvič so bile v Ljubljani izpričane manjše gomile s prodnatim jedrom, zemljenim plaščem in zunanjim obodnim jarkom iz zgodnje železne dobe. Po večini gre za žarne grobove v središču gomile, izstopa gomila 3 s centralnim grobom in sedmimi pokopi okrog njega. Po načinu pokopa izstopajo trije skeletni grobovi iz 8. st. pr. n. št., ti so v članku tudi podrobneje predstavljeni. Podana sta kratek oris pojava skeletnih grobov v drugih sočasnih železnodobnih skupinah in poskus razlage teh skeletnih pokopov v Ljubljani. Na podlagi analize grobnih najdb in novih radiokarbonskih datacij iz Ljubljane so na kratko predstavljene dopolnitve Gabrovčeve kronološke sheme ljubljanskega grobišča in posledično gorenjsko-ljubljanske skupine, predvsem stopenj Ljubljana II in IIIa. Dopolnitve stopnje Ljubljana II tako v relativnem kot absolutnem kronološkem smislu so ključne za razumevanje začetka pokopavanja na Kongresnem trgu ter razdelitev stopenj Podzemelj 1 in 2.

The present study focuses on the importance of the interaction between instrumental music and theatrical and operatic performances from 1802 to 1837.
Contaminated sediments transported onto the river terrace during high water events can contribute significant quantities of potentially toxic elements to riparian soils. Seven trace elements (As, Cd, ...Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb and Zn) were analysed in the river sediment and riparian soil of the River Sava and their spatial distribution, potential toxicity and ecological risk levels were evaluated. The results showed that levels of all the trace metals were enriched to varying extents in both the sediment (As, Cr, Ni, and Pb) and soil (Ni) when compared to reference levels for sediments and European soils. Mean concentrations of trace metals in sediment and soil, apart from Pb, increased downstream in the River Sava. The similar increasing trend of these elements in sediment and soil may be explained by their increased load due to anthropogenic pressures (As, Cr, Ni, Pb and Zn in sediment and the significant accumulation of Ni in soil) and frequent periodic flooding (As, Cd, Cr, Cu, Ni and Zn in sediment and Cd in soil are influenced by both high water events and natural factors such as the geological substrate), particularly in lowland regions. In this study, soluble As, Cd, Cr, Cu and Ni fractions in sediment and soil <10% indicated their low mobility. The exceptions were readily soluble Pb and Zn in the sediment and soil at some sampling sites. In the lower reaches, levels of Pb in sediment was indicative of a medium environmental hazard, while there was a high environmental hazard in the upper reaches with the average Pb content in sediment higher than the PEL. Pollution factors for Pb in soil indicated a medium environmental hazard in the upper and middle reaches and a high environmental hazard at some sites in the lower stretches of the Sava River, although total Pb content in soil was within the range proposed for European soils.
•Riparian zone contamination was studied on a large spatial scale.•As, Cd, Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb, and Zn in riparian soil and river sediment were analysed.•Cr and Ni levels >PEL (CCME 2001) were found in river sediment in river's lower reaches.•Elevated As, Cr, Ni and Zn levels were found in riparian soil in river's lower reaches.•Hazardous readily soluble Pb in sediment and soil was found in upper reaches.

Research into the unsaturated zone and groundwater recharge can greatly improve understanding of hydrological processes and assist in sustainable groundwater management. Groundwater recharge of the ...Ljubljana Field aquifer, a coarse-gravel porous aquifer in Slovenia, was estimated with reference to soil characteristics, outflow data from a weighing lysimeter, and water-table fluctuation. The specific yield of the upper unsaturated zone determined from soil characteristics was 0.141 for the top soil layer (0–0.35 m), between 0.042 and 0.066 for the layer below the top soil (0.35–1.3 m), and between 0.239 and 0.219 for the underlying upper coarse layer. During long dry periods, especially in combination with times of high plant-water requirements, only substantial precipitation events directly contribute to considerable groundwater recharge, as ‘substantial precipitation’ is defined as those rainfall events that fill storage and exceed retention capacity of the upper soil layer. Lysimeter measurements show that 50% of the precipitation is lost by evapotranspiration and the other 50% contributes to groundwater recharge. Most infiltrated water was stored for a short time in the unsaturated zone and did not result in a significant discharge from the lysimeter. Average specific yield, calculated using the water-table fluctuation method, was 0.144. The nature of the gravely unsaturated zone is that once the retention buffer of the soil is exceeded, the water front travels through relatively quickly, which can be seen as an advantage for recharge or a disadvantage for prevention of groundwater pollution.
