The subject of this article is the applicability of Jean-Luc Marion's phenomenology to dogmatic theology. The article first presents Marion's views on phenomenology. It then analyses three theological strands relevant to it: the author's conception of Revelation as a saturated phenomenon, Christology and Trinitarian theology. Marion proposes to theology a broader coalition with phenomenology, claiming that because of the phenomenological nature of Revelation, it is phenomenology that constitutes the most appropriate methodological instrumentarium for it. This paper examines the consequences and problems of adopting such a position in dogmatic theology, particularly the ambivalence of Marion's gesture of abrogation of metaphysics. Keywords: Marion, Trinity, Christology, Phenomenology.

The objective of this article is to establish a continuity in the work of Jean-Luc Marion in the face of a supposed hermeneutical turn. For this I show the novel concept of "saturable phenomena" from ...a historical reading of saturated phenomena. Although it do not occur in a saturated way, it can be carry to saturation. This concept allows a continuity between the topic of the phenomenon displayed in Marion's early works and the hermeneutical variation of his later works. In this way, I can compare the initiative of the phenomenon with an hermeneutical activity of the subject.
Recently, Jean-Luc Marion has developed the role of hermeneutics within his phenomenology of givenness. This paper aims to demonstrate that there is an aesthetic path to accessing hermeneutic ...engagement of a basic kind in his previous work. The Marionian hermeneutic management of the gap between what gives itself and what shows itself finds its heuristic model in the artist’s task of making the unseen visible, as becomes clear in his studies of painting.
Corpo. Carne. Pathos. Erotismo. This article aims to describe the phenomenology of flesh and the erotic relationship in Michel Henry relating it to the erotic phenomenon in Jean-Luc Marion. Initially, we will make an exposition of the concept of subjective phenomenological body through pathetic flesh in the henryana theory. The life reveals the flesh to the world engendering it in such a way that it is life itself, affectivity, pathos. Thus, the carnal Si is the condition and possibility for contact with worldly objects and for the intersubjective relationship. This designation will correspond to the erotic relationship of Henry's theory in which the subjective manifestations of pathos are forms of desire and response to affections insofar as I touch the other and it corresponds to my appeal. In this sense, the concept of eroticism occurs through the intertwining between two pathetic phenomenological fleshes. Later, we will link this designation with the erotic phenomenon presented by Jean-Luc Marion that brings individuality as a starting point for the relationship with the other. We will try to bring Marion's interpretation of henryana theory from the assumptions of erotic reduction, although he does not directly mention Henry in his conceptions of eroticism and love. Thus, it is intended to establish a study from these two phenomenologists through what is common in their theories: the erotic phenomenon understood as the carnal relation of the Si. Keywords: Life. Body. Meat. Pathos. Eroticism.
The main goal of this paper is to show Nicholas de Cusa’s influence on the notion of Icon (icône) as counter-intentionality in Jean-Luc Marion’s phenomenology of givenness. In order to do this, ...first, we offer a study of the early conception of Icon in Marion, as it appears in L’Idole et la distance (1977) and Dieu sans l’être (1982), showing the passage from an early conception of the icon to its first phenomenological formulation. As we will see, in this early period there is already an influence of the christian neoplatonic tradition (Dionysius the Areopagite). Secondly, we analyze the reception practiced by Marion of the Nicholas of Cusa’s thought. In this case, we indicate specifically how the Cusanian notion of eicona dei appears as a fundamental historical antecedent of the Icon as a saturated phenomenon, thus revealing the importance of Christian Neoplatonism in the phenomenology of givenness.
