Autor analizira pisanje primorskih slovenskih liberalnih novina u vrijeme balkanskih ratova 1912. i 1913., prikazuje geopolitičke stavove toga političkoga kruga te ga smješta u širi kontekst sukoba ...različitih vizija jugoslavenstva. Specifičan položaj primorskih Slovenaca i geopolitičko značenje Trsta odrazili su se na naklonjenost toga dijela Slovenaca što širemu južnoslavenskom konceptu, koji je trebao biti poluga za slovensku političku emancipaciju. Isprva se taj dio Slovenaca zauzima za ujedinjenje južnoslavenskih naroda unutar Habsburške Monarhije, no analizirano razdoblje donosi preokret koji se očituje u ispuštanju habsburškoga okvira u prvom krugu balkanskih ratova. Drugi je
pak krug prouzročio isključivanje Bugarske iz južnoslavenskih koncepata, čime se dio primorskih Slovenaca priklanja užoj viziji južnoslavenske državne ideje sa Srbijom u središnjoj ulozi.
The author analyses the writings of Slovene journals from the Primorska (Slovene Littoral) region in the period of the Balkan Wars, in the years
1912 and 1913. The article presents the shift of liberal Slovenes’ attitudes towards the Yugoslav idea and places it in the broader context
of the conflict between various geopolitical ideas. The specific position of the Primorska region and Istria as well as the consequential
geopolitical importance of Trieste were reflected in the inclination of
those liberal Slovenians to the broader concept of the Yugoslav political idea, which included all South Slavic nations and was supposed
to be the leverage for Slovenian political emancipation. Initially, the
Slovene liberals, who were gathered in the political group named Edinost (Unity) in Trieste and around the journal Soča in Gorizia, favoured the idea of a third political unit within the Habsburg
Monarchy, with the ambition of including Trieste and Gorizia into that entity. However, due to fears of being left outside of that third unit, these Slovenes abandoned so called ‘trialist’ idea. The defeats of the Ottoman Empire in the first round of the Balkan Wars resulted in omitting the Habsburg context in Slovene journals from the Primorska region, while the second round caused the exclusion of Bulgaria from the
South Slavic state concepts, and pushed those Slovenes towards the narrower version of the Yugoslav idea, where Serbia was to have a central role.
Članak daje pregled pokušaja stvaranja jedinica Jugoslovenske vojske u otadžbini na prostoru Primorske Slovenije u periodu posle kapitulacije Italije u jesen 1943. kao i tokom 1944. godine. Ova ...oblast bila je od kraja Prvog svetskog rata u okviru Italije, a od njene kapitulacije u Drugom svetskom ratu, u septembru 1943. godine, stavljena je pod nemačku okupacionu upravu. Na ovom prostoru, postojao je jak partizanski pokret kao i jedinice Slovenskog domobranstva. Pored njih, kao pokret otpora stvara se vojna i obaveštajna organizacija verna Kraljevini Jugoslaviji. Najviše aktivnosti na stvaranju ove organizacije, odigrale su se u 1944. godini. Njena organizacija je nazivana od protivnika: „pokret DM“, „četnici“ ili „plava garda“. U radu su korišćeni arhivski fondovi Arhiva Slovenije u Ljubljani, Vojnog arhiva u Beogradu, literatura kao i usmeni izvori koje je jedan od autora prikupio.
Razprava obravnava ideološko zaznamovane primere preimenovanj naselij na zahodnem robu slovenskega ozemlja. Med letoma 1948 in 1955 so komunistične oblasti na tem območju preimenovale številna ...naselja, pri čemer jih je vodila želja po preobrazbi podobe pokrajine, iz katere naj bi izginili sledovi preteklosti, ki se niso skladali z njihovo vizijo nove družbene ureditve. Kot problematični so se s tega vidika kazali predvsem toponimi s katoliško etimologijo, a tudi tisti, izvirajoči iz nemškega jezika, tako da je pri preimenovanju prišlo do spajanja revolucionarne in nacionalistične sporočilnosti. Vendar proces preimenovanja kljub jasnim ideološkim mejam (ne)sprejemljivega ni bil preprost ali hiter, saj se je zavlekel vse do leta 1955.
Artičoka (Cynara scolymus L.) je višegodišnja biljna vrsta koja zahvaljujući svojim prehrambenim ali i zdravstvenim značajkama postaje sve raširenija kultura na području primorske hrvatske i otoka. ...Tijekom svog razvoja artičoka je podložna napadu brojnih štetnika među kojima su gospodarski značajni nekoliko vrsta lisnih ušiju i leptira. Lisne uši kao fiziološki štetnici sisanjem listova i cvjetnih glavica postupno oslabljuju biljku, a osim toga zbog velikih količina medne rose na koju se naseljavaju gljive čađavice plodovi postaju neupotrebljivi za tržište. Leptiri u pravilu oštećuju cvjetne glavice i stabljiku. Od lisnih ušiju kao najznačajnije navedene su vrste: šljivina velika uši (Brachycaudus cardui) i bobova crna uš (Aphis fabae) Unutar reda Lepidoptera kao gospodarski značajni izdvojeni su: artičokin moljac (Depressaria erinaceella) i artičokina sovica (Gortyna xanthenes).
Artichoke is a perennial that thanks to its nutritional and health characteristic are becoming an incrisingliy widespread crop in coastal Croatia and the islands. During its development, the artichoke is susceptible to attack by numerous pests, among which several species of aphids and butterflies are economically important. As physiological pest aphids weaken the plant by sucking leaves and flowering buds. In addition, due to large amounts of honeydew, sooty mold makes the fruits unusable for the market. Butterflies damage flower heads and steems. The most important aphids are plum aphid (Brachycaudus cardui) and bean black aphid (Aphis fabae). Within the genus Lepidoptera, the following are economically important: artichoke moth (Depressaria erinaceella) and artichoke owl (Gortyna xanthenes).
The aim of this article is to present the state of Slovenian education in the Zone A of the former Julian March before and after the signature of the Paris Peace Treaty on 10 February 1947. It draws ...on the minutes of the session held on 6 August 1946 at the headquarters of the Allied Military Government in Trieste, as this session was intended for the review of the first school year after the liberation from Nazifascism. The minutes are kept in the historical archives of the Trieste provincial office for Slovenian education and have never before been the subject of historical analysis. They reveal the school system’s main difficulties, which were the subject of a fierce clash of different political factors in the immediate post-war period. The author compares the findings obtained from these minutes with the findings of the scientific literature on the same topic. In the second part of the paper, the author discusses the changes that occurred after 15 September 1947, when the provisions of the Paris Peace Treaty came into force. He draws particular attention to the various consequences of this historic step for the Slovenian schools in Trieste and Gorizia.
The article provides an overview of the activities of the Serbian Volunteer Corps (SDK), which arrived at the Operational Zone of the Adriatic Littoral, specifically at what is now the Primorska ...region of Slovenia, in November 1944. The Corps reported to the Serbian Government and was used by the German military authorities to combat the resistance movements in occupied Serbia in 1941–1944. After the Soviet Army entered Yugoslavia and Serbia in the autumn of 1944, the Corps was transferred to the Operational Zone of the Adriatic Littoral. The article provides details on the SDK status, its size and role in this area and finally on its tragic fate, when most of its personnel that managed to withdraw to Austria were handed over to the Yugoslav Partisan forces, which executed them in remote areas of Slovenia. The article is based on the author’s archival research and on Serbian and Slovenian emigrant literature.
This dataset was collected for the fulfillment of the first author’s PhD studies. It was collected in two phases. Preliminary data investigated the status of tutors’ mathematical knowledge for ...teaching. A lesson planning intervention framed within the technological and pedagogical content knowledge framework was provided to an experimental group of tutors. Then, after-intervention data were collected in the form of improved lesson plans, classroom observation, and student performance. This dataset is important for tutors, researchers, and policymakers to gain insights into the effectiveness of the implemented intervention, inform future educational strategies, and enhance the overall quality of mathematical teaching.
AbstractAs technology use has become the norm in education, this bibliometric analysis of technology-enhanced language learning (TELL) aims to reveal its current state-of-the-art and emerging trends. ...Analysis of 1,816 publications (1,745 articles and 71 reviews) from Web of Science demonstrated growing interests in the field and core publications in the field. Bibliographic coupling identified eight research fronts, with a particular emphasis on the established flipped learning (FL) pedagogy and expanding influence of mobile assisted language learning (MALL) and digital game-based learning (DGBL). These approaches are at the forefront in shaping English language skill acquisition, especially in writing, with the rise of technology multimodality and informal digital learning as nascent yet significant areas for future research. Anchored in the bioecological model, the research highlights the integral role of student outcomes across various competencies influenced by systemic factors. The study stresses the necessity for education stakeholders to blend technology with pedagogical strategies, a need further accentuated by the COVID-19 pandemic. The study’s major contribution lies in its comprehensive synthesis of TELL’s current landscape and for both future research and education endeavours in the field of English TELL.
