Liquid chromatography (LC) based techniques in combination with mass spectrometry (MS) detection have had a large impact on the development of new pharmaceuticals in the past decades. Continuous ...improvements in mass spectrometry and interface technologies, combined with advanced liquid chromatographic techniques for high-throughput qualitative and quantitative analysis, have resulted in a wider scope of applications in the pharmaceutical field. LC-MS tools are increasingly used to analyze pharmaceuticals across a variety of stages in their discovery and development. These stages include drug discovery, product characterization, metabolism studies (
in vitro
and
in vivo
) and the identification of impurities and degradation products. The increase in LC-MS applications has been enormous, with retention times and molecular weights (and related fragmentation patterns) emerging as crucial analytical features in the drug development process. The goal of this review is to give an overview of the main developments in LC-MS based techniques for the analysis of small pharmaceutical molecules in the last decade and give a perspective on future trends in LC-MS in the pharmaceutical field.

We obtain classical string solutions on Formula omitted by applying the dressing method on string solutions with elliptic Pohlmeyer counterparts. This is realized through the use of the simplest ...possible dressing factor, which possesses just a pair of poles lying on the unit circle. The latter is equivalent to the action of a single Bäcklund transformation on the corresponding sine-Gordon solutions. The obtained dressed elliptic strings present an interesting bifurcation of their qualitative characteristics at a specific value of a modulus of the seed solutions. Finally, an interesting generic feature of the dressed strings, which originates from the form of the simplest dressing factor and not from the specific seed solution, is the fact that they can be considered as drawn by an epicycle of constant radius whose center is running on the seed solution. The radius of the epicycle is directly related to the location of the poles of the dressing factor.
The aim of this research is to describe the process of pattern generalization based on the taxonomy for categorizing generalization i.e. relating, searching and extending. The subjects were the fifth ...and the sixth grade students of elementary school. Qualitative data were obtained from their written work when they solved the problems of patterns and from interviews. First, at the first stage, students were asked to solve a problem of pattern generalization and at the second stage, they were interviewed in order to find out whether they understood the process of generalization or not. The results showed that the students focused on two aspects when they were facing the problem of pattern generalization, that is, they focused on the number of squares in the figure without considering the shape of the figure and they focused on the shape of the figure by paying attention to the square in the middle and to the addition of square on each side of the figure. The result of this study also revealed that students who focused on the shape of the figure found it more easily to formulate its general rule.
This research is based on the view that the environment is indicated to be able to shape a person's character. The purpose of this study is to reveal the role of the environment in shaping the ...characters in the novel
Merindu Baginda Nabi
. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data of this study include words, sentences, texts, and discourses in the novel
Merindu Baginda Nabi
. This research is included in the realm of sociology of literature, using Gramsci's hegemonic approach. As far as the author knows through literature and access to journals, research on the novel
Merindu Baginda Nabi
with Gramsci's hegemonic approach has not been found. The results show that a positive pesantren environment is able to shape the characters to be good or the protagonist, such as respect to others, hard worker, and patient.
This research seeks to look deeper into interrelationships between technology, past, and nostalgia in musical reissue products of Indonesian independent recording labels. This research adopted ...qualitative-descriptive method. Data were extracted from documents which are in the form of reissue releases. This research used Media Archeology and Hauntology perspective in analyzing the data collected, which are in the form of physical reissue releases, photographic, and poster archives. Based on the results of analysis it can be concluded that nostalgia is a technology-mediated condition. Even though reissue releases are laden with past elements, it can be utilized to project future by tracing or identifying various potential creativities contained in past cultural products.
This study aimed to describe and explain the expression of the ethnic Osing culture in the folk song. The study used a qualitative design by utilizing a hermeneutic approach to understanding the ...meaning. Data were the text of Banyuwangi folk songs collected by document studies and interviews and analyzed by the following steps: data reduction, presentation, interpretation, and conclusion. This study understood the meaning under the level of semantic, reflective, and existential. The findings showed that the Banyuwangi folk songs expressed the ethnic Osing personality, social behavior, and environmental knowledge of the ethnic Osing. Osing people are simple, accepting of reality, obedient to their parents, careful in making decisions, humble, and have futuristic views. The social behavior of the Osing tribe includes getting along at work, maintaining togetherness in ritual traditions, caring for neighbors, and obeying ethics. Osing people know various types of animals, plants, and material objects that surround and fulfill their life needs. This knowledge describes their concern and scope of perception in their interaction with the natural environment. These findings have a significant contribution to anyone interested in recognizing local cultural attitudes and behaviors and developing learning materials and references for further research.
This research takes the object of the Kenyah Dayak tribe's Sampek in pampang village in Samarinda which until now is still alive and developing in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the city of ...Samarinda. This research is more focused on finding data on the origin of the existence of the Kenyah Dayak tribe, the beliefs of the Kenyah Dayak tribe, the origin of the existence of Sampek music, the relationship between sampek music and the life of the Kenyah Dayak community in Pampang village, and how to play Sampek music. The research uses qualitative methods with descriptive analytical writing and uses an ethnomusicological approach. The results of the study revealed that the existence of Sampek music is closely related to the daily life of the Pampang Dalam people who until now still believe in the power of Bungan Malan as the ruler of the region. The creation of Sampek music is also inseparable from the existence of Lawe folklore which is represented in musical elements in sampek games
Strong light-matter interaction in cavity environments is emerging as a promising approach to control chemical reactions in a non-intrusive and efficient manner. The underlying mechanism that ...distinguishes between steering, accelerating, or decelerating a chemical reaction has, however, remained unclear, hampering progress in this frontier area of research. We leverage quantum-electrodynamical density-functional theory to unveil the microscopic mechanism behind the experimentally observed reduced reaction rate under cavity induced resonant vibrational strong light-matter coupling. We observe multiple resonances and obtain the thus far theoretically elusive but experimentally critical resonant feature for a single strongly coupled molecule undergoing the reaction. While we describe only a single mode and do not explicitly account for collective coupling or intermolecular interactions, the qualitative agreement with experimental measurements suggests that our conclusions can be largely abstracted towards the experimental realization. Specifically, we find that the cavity mode acts as mediator between different vibrational modes. In effect, vibrational energy localized in single bonds that are critical for the reaction is redistributed differently which ultimately inhibits the reaction.
