SMS advertising perception has been found to have a significant influence over consumer purchase intention either directly or indirectly. However, there is a dearth of comprehensive studies, ...suggesting precursors of SMS advertising perception and the process by which it influences the purchase intention. This study concentrates on answering this particular question by developing a research model and empirically validating it, based on the stimulus–organism–response (SOR) framework. To evaluate and validate the results, the study adopted a two-stage, hybrid model using partial least square-structural equation modeling and neural network modeling. The findings suggest SMS advertising perception has a significant effect on purchase intention, mediated by advertising value and attitude toward SMS advertisement. The main contribution of this study is the introduction of a new higher-order construct, SMS advertising perception, for the first time in SMS advertising literature, and the validation of the transmittal effect of advertising value and attitude toward SMS advertising between SMS advertising perception and purchase intention. The study provides empirical evidence to support the SOR framework and helps to expand the scope of SMS advertising perception research and its effect on purchase intention. Additionally, it benefits marketers by fostering better decision-making to devise effective advertising campaigns using mobile-based SMS service commercials.

In January 2015, the FAA released a congressionally mandated, final rule on Safety Management Systems (SMS) for Part 121 air carriers. Since organizations must implement SMS, often at considerable expense, a sound, valid means of measuring SMS effectiveness must be established. The purpose of this research was to develop a model to measure and test SMS effectiveness. It was constructed through a systematic series of steps, ensuring accomplishment of research objectives. While preliminary, this research demonstrates that Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) models can be produced to help organizations measure the effectiveness of their SMS and determine how to improve SMS-related performance.
The Signalling System No. 7 (SS7) is used in GSM/UMTS telecommunication technologies for signalling and management of communication. It was designed on the concept of private boundary walled ...technology having mutual trust between few national/multinational operators with no inherent security controls in 1970s. Deregulation, expansion, and merger of telecommunication technology with data networks have vanquished the concept of boundary walls hence increasing the number of service providers, entry points, and interfaces to the SS7 network, which made it vulnerable to serious attacks. The SS7 exploits can be used by attackers to intercept messages, track a subscriber's location, tape/redirect calls, adversely affect disaster relief operations, drain funds of individuals from banks in combination with other methods and send billions of spam messages. This paper provides a comprehensive review of the SS7 attacks with detailed methods to execute attacks, methods to enter the SS7 core network, and recommends safeguards against the SS7 attacks. It also provides a machine learning based framework to detect anomalies in the SS7 network which is compared with rule based filtering. It further presents a conceptual model for the defense of network.

The social media can be a platform for information consumption nowadays. On the one hand, it’s free of cost, easy access, and different data dissemination lead people to hunt out and consume ...social media news. On the contrary, it allows for the broad spread of “spams,” i.e., inferiority news with deliberately false information. The widespread spread of spams has the potential for very negative impacts on people and society. Consequently, the detection of spam on social media has recently become an important research that draws tremendous attention. NLP, an artificial intelligence (AI) division, uses computers and human natural language to produce useful data. In text classification activities, such as spam detection and sentiment analysis, text generation, language translations and document classification, NLP is widely used.

Tuberculosis, caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis bacillus, is one of the most prevalent, widespread, infectious, and deadliest diseases in the world. In this work, a compact and sensitive biosensor based on an etched single-mode–multimode–single-mode (E-SMS) optical fiber structure was developed for the rapid detection of Mycobacterium tuberculosis Ag85B protein in phosphate buffered saline solution. This biosensor, based on the multimode interference produced into an E-SMS structure, was fabricated by chemical etching of the cladding region of the multimode fiber, followed by the immobilization of the anti-Ag85B antibody on the surface of the etched region. The functionalized E-SMS biosensor provided high selectivity in the detection of Ag85B protein, with the ability to detect biological interactions in a range of 1.31 µg/mL to 4.36 µg/mL, with a sensitivity of 2.3 nm/(µg/mL); also, signal was even obtained at concentrations as low as 80 ng/mL. This sensitive label-free biosensing technology could contribute significantly improve Mycobacterium tuberculosis detection, management in clinical diagnosis, and medical treatment of infected patients.
This paper studies the problem of sliding-mode surface (SMS)-based adaptive optimal control for a class of continuous-time switched nonlinear systems with average dwell time (ADT) via using an ...actor-critic (AC) reinforcement learning (RL) strategy. By developing a specific cost function related to SMS, the original control problem is equivalently transformed into the problem of finding a series of optimal control policies. Then, the error terms separated from the Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman (HJB) equation are integrated into a function, which effectively reduces the influence of some repeated magnifications caused by approximation errors. Besides, the solution to the HJB equation is identified by the SMS-based AC neural networks (NNs), where the actor and critic NNs are developed to carry out the RL strategy simultaneously. The actor updating law is to implement control actions based on the system output, while the critic updating law is required to assess the current control action and feedback to the actor. Based on the Lyapunov stability theory, the applicability of the proposed adaptive AC optimal control method is verified to guarantee the boundedness of all signals in the considered closed-loop switched nonlinear systems. Finally, a simulation examples is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed adaptive optimal control method.

Dari sebuah teknologi yang bernama SMS sekarang bisa dikembangkan menjadi SMS Gateway yang mana berfungsi untuk menggantikan tugas manusia menyalurkan informasi secara cepat dan lebih efektif kepada banyak orang. Dalam penelitian ini akan mengimplementasikan Pengelolaan Informasi Tenaga Kerja Pada Dinas Tenaga Kerja Dan Transmigrasi Kulon Progo Berbasis SMS Gateway. Sistem ini akan digunakan untuk menyalurkan informasi lowongan pekerjaan kepada para pencari kerja di Kabupaten Kulon Progo. Lowongan Pekerjaan akan diinformasikan kepada pencari kerja yang telah mendapatkan kartu kuning setelah melakukan pendafataran dan mengisi biodata di Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi. Aplikasi SMS Gateway akan dibuat menggunakan framework Laravel dan database SQLite. Pada Penerapan dilapangan aplikasi akan digunakan oleh lingkungan internal Dinas Tenaga Kerja Dan Transmigrasi Unit Bidang Pengembangan dan Penempatan Tenaga Kerja.
