From the Five Star Movement to Podemos, from the Pirate Parties to La France Insoumise, from the movements behind Bernie Sanders to those backing Jeremy Corbyn, the last decade has witnessed the rise ...of a new blueprint for political organisation: the digital party. Paolo Gerbaudo addresses the organisational revolution that is transforming political parties in the time of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Cambridge Analytica. Drawing on interviews with political leaders and organisers, Gerbaudo demonstrates that besides rapidly growing in votes, these formations have also revitalised party democracy, involving hundreds of thousands in discussions carried out on online decision-making platforms. Participatory, yet plebiscitarian, open and democratic, yet dominated by charismatic 'hyperleaders', digital parties display both great potentials and risks for the development of new forms of mass participation in an era of growing inequality. All political parties will have to reckon with the lessons of the digital party.
Autor sa vo svojom príspevku zaoberá problematikou dozoru prokuratúry nad dodržiavaním zákonnosti orgánmi verejnej správy. Ide o tému, ktorá je v Slovenskej republike dlhodobo predmetom početných ...diskusií, a to predovšetkým v kontexte zachovania tohto právneho nástroja, príp. jeho úplnej eliminácie. Autor sa v prvej časti príspevku zameriava na objasnenie pojmu „prokurátorský dozor“ vo všeobecnosti, na jeho povahu a klasifikáciu v slovenskom právnom prostredí. Následne autor objasňuje historické pozadie vzniku a vývoja inštitútu dozoru prokuratúry vo verejnej správe, analyzuje jeho premeny v čase a upriamuje pozornosť na jeho súvislosti s inými právnymi inštitútmi. Autor v príspevku tiež poukazuje na niektoré problematické prvky a snaží sa sformulovať vlastný právny názor týkajúci sa relevancie a opodstatnenosti existencie tohto právneho inštitútu v právnom poriadku Slovenskej republiky.
Prestože se ceská mesta neúcastnila stavovského povstání v letech 1618-1620 tak aktivne jako oba šlechtické stavy, následky bitvy na Bílé hore se v jejich dalším vývoji odrazily prinejmenším stejne ...velkou merou. Zatímco dvacátá léta byla ve znamení zásahu do jejich vnitrního života ze strany vítezného císare Ferdinanda II. a jeho tábora, následující dve desetiletí byla dobou bezprostredního válecného ohrožení a vytvárení obranných mechanismu vuci nemu. Kniha, kterou držíte v rukou, sleduje vliv konfesijních a politických zápasu první poloviny 17. století na praxi správy ceských mest ve dvou rovinách. Zemský kontext zohlednuje hlavne královská mesta jako samostatný zemský stav a zároven presne vymezenou cást ceské urbánní síte, bezprostredne podléhající centrálním úradum (podkomorí, ceská komora, apelacní soud). Nejcasteji zastoupeným dobovým typem urbánního sídla ale bylo poddanské mesto ci mestecko cítající maximálne nekolik set domu. Predstavu o míre rozdílných i shodných rysu správy ruzných typu mest umožnuje lokální sonda do oblasti Polabí, zahrnující tri sídla na stredním toku reky: Nymburk jako královské mesto, Brandýs nad Labem jako vrchnostenské mesto a Celákovice jako menší vrchnostenské mestecko.
