U prvom dijelu članka prikazuje se konkretan primjer znanstvene suradnje hrvatske znanstvenice dr. Jelke Radauš Ribarić i njezina slovenskog kolege i prijatelja akademika Milka Matičetova na temi ...nazivlja i simbolike narcisa. Na osnovi pronađene korespondencije iz 1977. godine razmatraju se njihova promišljanja zasnovana na jednakim etnološkim smjernicama toga doba. U najopsežnijoj cjelini naslovljenoj "Nova interpretacija teme" autorica nudi novu obredno-mitološku interpretaciju običajnih proljetnih praksi s izvorom, lipom i narcisama u Vodicama u sjevernoj Istri. Nekadašnji jurjevski ophod, očuvan tamo u obliku dječjeg folklora u proljetnom darivanju narcisama izvora i bogiča na lipi, interpretiran je kao odraz, ostatak (pra)slavenskog, ujedno i pretkršćanskog obreda. Nazivlje za narcise – jurjevke i Marijine palčke / Maričice – autorica tumači jednakim interpretativnim kontekstom.
We investigated two prominent, ~E-W trending scarps in Quaternary sediments, located close to the town of Vodice in the Ljubljana Basin (central Slovenia). By using detailed geomorphological analysis ...of the scarps, field surveying, and structural observations of deformed Quaternary sediments, we conclude that the scarps are the surface expression of a N-dipping thrust fault that has been active during the Quaternary. From Optically Stimulated Luminescence and Infrared Stimulated Luminescence dating of deformed Quaternary sediments we estimate a slip rate of 0.1 to 0.3 mm a-1 in the last 133 ka. Using the published empirical fault-scaling relationships, we estimate that an earthquake of magnitude 5.9 to 6.5 may be expected on the Vodice thrust fault. The fault may, therefore, present a major seismic hazard for the densely populated and urbanised region of central Slovenia.
The War Museum in Logatec keeps a group of unprofes-sionally excavated, mostly Roman metal objects from the site of Vodice near Kalce. Among them there is also a supposed late Roman hoard of metal ...objects, the composition of which is not definitely known any more. A detailed analysis of all objects made it possible to date some of them only to the Ro-man Imperial period, some more precisely to the Late Roman period and four of them assumedly to the Middle Ages or to the modern times. An attempt at reconstruction of the hoard, based on the dating of objects, oral data and comparison with similar contemporary hoards from the present-day territory of Slovenia, set apart as the supposed composition of the hoard a steelyard, three wide axes, two axes, two adzes, a double-bladed adze, a hoe, a woodworking knife, a gimlet, a pair of compasses, an anvil, a bolt, and an awl. It was possible to date the hoard only inexactly to the 4th century or maybe to the end of the 4th century.
Čorićev toranj je šibenska komunalna utvrda koja je kao samostalna kula branila od Osmanlija naselje Vodice i strateški izvor pitke vode na zapadu šibenskog distrikta. Kula je sagrađena 1533. godine ...kad je šibenski plemić Jeronim de Saracenis ugovorio gradnju s klesarom Ivanom iz Hvara. Odigrala je važnu ulogu u jedinom povijesno poznatom napadu Osmanlija na središte Vodica početkom Kandijskog rata 1646. godine. Moguće je prepoznati nekoliko razvojnih faza kule, a nakon prestanka osmanske opasnosti, najvjerojatnije već tijekom 18. stoljeća, kula je pretvorena u stambeni objekt. Zasad nije moguće potvrditi je li izduženo pravokutno dvorište, koje je kuli dozidano s jugozapada, imalo fortifikacijsku namjenu
Clastic sedimentary rocks in the vicinity of Mrzle Vodice in the Gorski kotar region contain numerous Upper Palaeozoic fossils, preserved as skeletal detritus in caiclithites, or within lithoclasts ...in coarse-grained sediments. Seventy-two taxa have been determined (most of them for the first time) in this region. The most abundant groups are foraminifers and calcareous algae. Calcisponges, echinoderms and bryozoans occur frequently, while remnants of molluscs, brachiopods and ostracods are scarce. The determined taxa range from the Lower Carboniferous (Visean), through ths Upper Carboniferous (Moscovian, Kasimovian, Gzhelian), up to the Lower Permian (Asselian) in age. Some of the clastic sediments show traces of the multiple redeposition.

Východiska práce: Procesuální standardy ošetřovatelských postupů při výkonech a jejich významnost pro výsledkové hodnocení kvality, se významně uplatňují při odborných výkonech prováděných sestrou. Postup při dekanylaci sheathu z arteriálního povodí po srdeční katetrizaci může ovlivnit fi nální výsledek katetrizace. Standardizace dekanylace sheathu je významný fenomén k redukci komplikací a měřítkem kvality výkonu jako celku. Metodika: Rešerše odborných článků databází PubMed, Medline, Cochrane, MedscapeNurses za období 1998–2010. K vyhledávání byl použit Booleovský operátor-or/and se zadáním klíčových slov. Dohledáno bylo 59 odkazů, dále jsme pracovaly se 16 odkazy, které vyhovovaly záměrům práce. Výsledky: Z dohledaných odkazů vyplývá, že ošetřovatelské standardy k dekanylaci sheathu často vychází ze závěrů ošetřovatelského výzkumu (EBP), zaměřují se na redukci krvácení z místa vpichu již od počátků provádění srdečních katetrizací. Standardy se zaměřují na způsob a délku prováděné komprese na arteria femoralis, tak arteria radialis. Dle odkazů je význam kladen na eliminaci komplikací (hematom, krvácení), jednak zavedením mechanických kompresních pomůcek, ale zejména vyškoleným ošetřovatelským personálem ve způsobech komprese, typech a správnosti použití kompresních zařízení. V odkazech je kladen důraz na časnou mobilizaci pacientů po katetrizaci, toto je možné za dodržení podmínek stanoveným ošetřovatelským standardem k dekanylaci sheathu. Závěry: Ošetřovatelský standard je důležitou součástí výkonu přispívající k redukci komplikací a zlepšení komfortu pacienta, má důležitou platformu zejména v zahraničí.- Aim: Main aim of this report was to determine the possibilities of standardisation specialized nursing care for decannulation of the sheath from arteria radialis, femoralis by using analysis of literary sources. Introduction: Processual standards nursing procedures at operation and their importance for quality evaluation are signifi cantly enforced by nurse. Th e procedure of the decannulation of sheath from arterial basin can infl uence the fi nal eff ect of catheterization. Th e sheath standardisation is an important phenomenon contributing to reduction of complications and the quality of the operation as well. Methods: Th e methodology is based on research of professional articles from PubMed, Medline, Cochrane, MedscapeNurses databases for a period 1998–2010. It was used a Boolean operator (or/and), with entering the key words. It was found 59 references by using key words,then we worked with 16 references, which were relevant for the purpose of our report. Results: Th e references point to the fact that nursing standards for decannulation of the sheath are oft en based on conlusions of the nursing research (EBP). Th ey focus on a reduction of bleeding at the injection site from the beginning of the heart catheterization. Th e standards are focusing on manners and the the length of the compression on arteria femoralis, arteria radialis.
