Constance Markievicz (1868-1927), née Gore-Booth, fille d’une riche famille anglo-irlandaise, ne semblait en rien destinée à prendre les armes pour l’indépendance irlandaise et la cause des femmes. ...Femme et journaliste engagée, elle œuvre à la diffusion d’idéaux républicains, socialistes et féministes lors de la période révolutionnaire.
