Over the years, new methodological trends have emerged in physical education and sport with the aim of developing and improving the instructional and educational process. These conscious actions, ...demonstrating their practical usefulness, have become methodological guidelines, concepts used by the majority of specialists in the field, whether teachers or coaches. They are the result of the evolution of the theory and practice of physical education and sport, but also determined by the development of science and technology in the field of physical education and sport. Algorithmisation is considered by specialists to be a non-heuristic methodological orientation, a last phase of programmed instruction. As a non-heuristic methodological orientation, algorithmisation does not give students the possibility to choose the solution, therefore, in order to contribute to the development of imagination and creativity, it should be closely linked to problematisation. Also, in physical education and sport, unforeseen situations often arise, for which the previously devised algorithms cannot be applied, a situation often encountered in sports games and situational sports. In carrying out the research we aimed at the following objectives: determination of the biomotor potential of 6th grade students through specific tests; development of the subjects motor qualities through different methods; analysis of the final results compared to the initial tests.
Recent advances in computing and immersive technologies have provided Meta (formerly Facebook) with the opportunity to leapfrog or expedite its way of thinking and devising a global computing ...platform called the “Metaverse”. This hypothetical 3D network of virtual spaces is increasingly shaping alternatives to the imaginaries of data-driven smart cities, as it represents ways of living in virtually inhabitable cities. At the heart of the Metaverse is a computational understanding of human users’ cognition, emotion, motivation, and behavior that reduces the experience of everyday life to logic and calculative rules and procedures. This implies that human users become more knowable and manageable and their behavior more predictable and controllable, thereby serving as passive data points feeding the AI and analytics system that they have no interchange with or influence on. This paper examines the forms, practices, and ethics of the Metaverse as a virtual form of data-driven smart cities, paying particular attention to: privacy, surveillance capitalism, dataveillance, geosurveillance, human health and wellness, and collective and cognitive echo-chambers. Achieving this aim will provide the answer to the main research question driving this study: What ethical implications will the Metaverse have on the experience of everyday life in post-pandemic urban society? In terms of methodology, this paper deploys a thorough review of the current status of the Metaverse, urban informatics, urban science, and data-driven smart cities literature, as well as trends, research, and developments. We argue that the Metaverse will do more harm than good to human users due to the massive misuse of the hyper-connectivity, datafication, algorithmization, and platformization underlying the associated global architecture of computer mediation. It follows that the Metaverse needs to be re-cast in ways that re-orientate in how users are conceived; recognize their human characteristics; and take into account the moral values and principles designed to realize the benefits of socially disruptive technologies while mitigating their pernicious effects. This paper contributes to the academic debates in the emerging field of data-driven smart urbanism by highlighting the ethical implications posed by the Metaverse as speculative fiction that illustrates the concerns raised by the pervasive and massive use of advanced technologies in data-driven smart cities. In doing so, it seeks to aid policy-makers in better understanding the pitfalls of the Metaverse and their repercussions upon the wellbeing of human users and the core values of urban society. It also stimulates prospective research and further critical perspectives on this timely topic.
Purpose: Determination of such an interval of workplace environmental physical factors
control, which would ensure high monitoring reliability and the minimum data collection and
processing duration ...(or cost).
Design/methodology/approach: To achieve the goal were applied: analysis and
synthesis of known scientific results on the topic of research, statistical analysis,
mathematical modelling. Statistical data for determining the interval of control was recorded
at regular intervals.
Findings: A methodology has been developed for determining the interval of workplace
environmental physical factors values control. It is based on the identification of patterns of
change in the physical factors values. The algorithm of workplace environmental physical
factors values control is proposed, which helps to identify cases when the actual values
of the factors exceed the limit values. The practical application of theoretical propositions
showed that the correlation coefficient between the factual sample and the sample formed
using the determined control interval is within 0.74…0.88, which satisfies the condition
R > 0.5 as intended.
Research limitations/implications: The mechanism for workplace environmental
physical factors values monitoring was further developed on the basis of forecasting
changes in the physical factors values and determining the duration of the excess of the
factors values over the limit. In this study on stationary and conditional stationary processes
was the focus.
Practical implications: The use of the algorithm that is based on the methodology
for determining the interval of workplace environmental physical factors values control
contributes to more effective monitoring of working safety.
Originality/value: For the first time justified by the choice of the control interval of
workplace environmental physical factors values with acceptable accuracy of the forecast
that allow to quickly establish working conditions hazard class.
Abstract
As algorithms play an increasingly important role in public organizations, we see a rise in the number of public sector data scientists. Even though the relevance and risks of algorithms in ...the public sector are broadly discussed, our current academic knowledge of public sector data scientists and their work is limited. To develop an understanding of their work practices, data scientists have been studied in two Dutch government organizations. In a core period of 5 months per organization, I conducted in-depth qualitative research into the work of the data scientists, their role in the organization, and their relationship with other actors at two regulatory agencies in the Netherlands. The analysis shows that data scientists integrate Silicon Valley and engineering, domain, as well as political–administrative logics in their work practices. Thus, the work of the data scientists is hybrid. However, even though the organizational contexts are very similar, hybrid work takes very different forms both across organizations and over time. This dynamic hybridity is linked to different algorithmization processes and outcomes in the two organizations. The results suggest that hybridity in public sector data scientists’ work should be adapted to organizational and technological aspects of transformation processes and aspired outcomes.
The article considers the actual reflection of the transhumanistic concept in various fields of scientific knowledge. This concept has recently aroused genuine interest both because of its direction ...and because of its own contradictions. The discussion that has unfolded around this concept allows to evaluate all the pros and cons of the implementation of the transhumanist idea, which requires improving the physical condition of a person through the use of the most advanced technologies, among which biotechnology occupies an important place. Their use generates contextual social, economic and political problems. In this regard, it is necessary to investigate the process of emergence and development of transhumanistic risks, as well as the possibility of managing them on the basis of both traditional and original tools, taking into account the specifics of the transhumanistic approach. In the article, the authors present a study of the formation of transhumanistic risks associated with the creation and use of artificial intelligence, as well as the possibility of risk management in the transhumanistic space. The threat is increasing due to the growing globalization, interconnectedness and the speed of change in the world. These trends are generally useful, but present new challenges, including new types of transhumanistic risks associated with the use of artificial intelligence. It is more difficult to predict them than any other known risks. Conceptual options for assessing the situation developing in the transhumanistic space together represent a new vector transhumanistic risk management theory and practice development.
How can the ubiquitous digitalization in the early twenty-first century be grasped and characterized? A media-change perspective that focuses on innovation-driven, complex co-evolutionary processes ...distinguishes two phases of digitalization and points to the following characteristics of its second phase: digitalization is an intertwined bundle of socio-technological transformation processes that reveals itself as a trinity of datafication, algorithmization and platformization. On the industry and politics side, this co-evolutionary trinity is driven by the belief in a scientifically and technologically controllable human evolution, reflected in the pursuit of nano-bio-info-cogno convergence, and accordingly linked to a transhumanism standing for this belief. On the users’ side, the digital trinity is characterized and driven by the convergence of digital technology and religion in the form of an implicit everyday religion. These hallmarks of digitalization lead to a digitally transformed social order, shaped by the interplay of governance
by
and
of
this digital trinity, and challenged by growing complexity.

Objective: to develop a mathematical model for calculating the normative, actual and deficit values in twenty–foot equivalent (hereinafter referred to as DFE) in a given container train (hereinafter ...referred to as KP), to formulate an algorithm for calculating DFE in KP.
Methods: calculations using the Excel software environment were used in the segment of calculating the occupancy rate of a container train in the TEU, the percentage of occupancy compared to the standard value of the TEU.
Research results: based on the results of the work, a methodology for calculating the DFE in the KP was formulated, a mathematical model for calculating the twenty-foot equivalent of a given container train was developed.
Practical significance: it has been revealed that a new element in the calculations of the container train parameter should be considered the automatic calculation of the values of DFE (normative, actual, deficit values) for the entire container train (and not on a separate platform car) with the display of such important parameters as the number of wagons in the composition, the total number of containers loaded on wagons. A step-by-step description of the processes of calculating the DFE of a given composition of KP is performed. As a result of the research, a software product for calculating KP occupancy rates is proposed.
