NiaCe/SiO2 catalysts were prepared by calcination under Ar, CO2, O2 and H2 ambience, and applied in CO2 reforming of methane for synthesis gas production. BET, XRD, XPS, TPR, SEM, TEM and TPH ...techniques were employed to characterize the fresh and used catalysts. Highly dispersed nickel oxides bearing stronger interaction with SiO2 prevented the metal sintering. The formation of reactive carbon species on NiaCe/SiO2 catalyst calcined under Ar ambience effectively promoted the carbon elimination and kept the catalyst more stable. Nevertheless, the oxygen storage capacity of CeO2 might partly lose on NiaCe/SiO2 calcined under H2 ambience. As a result, the inhibition of carbon elimination and the deposition of inert carbon were responsible for its partial deactivation.
This work aimed to perform bioclimatic zoning based on the temperature and humidity index (THI) for quails from the 3rd to the 5th week of life during the rainy season in the state of Paraíba, ...Brazil, in order to identify the most suitable mesoregions among the Zona da Mata, Agreste, Borborema and Sertão for the breeding of these birds and to propose mitigating measures for the thermal comfort of the animals. The monthly air temperature and relative humidity data for calculating the THI were obtained from conventional meteorological stations of the National Meteorological Institute of the Brazilian federal government from 1961 to 2015, in turn making maps with the spatial distribution of the index. The index ranged from 71 to 76 in the various mesoregions of Paraíba, with Agreste being the best mesoregion for breeding quails from the 3rd to the 5th week of life, thus providing a thermal comfort zone for birds and only requiring a few corrective measures in their facilities, when necessary, followed by the Sertão, Zona da Mata and Borborema mesoregions.

Design/Methodology/Approach: As per the nature of this study, non-random sampling techniques used to collect the data. The sample size for current study was 231 customers of local and important vehicles as participants selected. To test the proposed model, a structured questionnaire was used to collect the data.
Findings: Results that arise in quantitative data show customer satisfaction towards internal features of vehicles and successfully identify what factors having the highest impact on customer satisfaction are feeling, interior refinement, safety and ambient light
Implications/Originality/Value: This will aid car manufacturers to do better market segmentation to target customers living in different cities of Pakistan as well as aid car dealers to know their customer needs regarding car. Moreover, when bigger sample size is used results may be differ from our results as more people will be engaged in survey from all over Pakistan that will help future researchers to know psychographic of people living in non-identical places of Pakistan.
Y3Al5O12:Ce3+ (YAG:Ce3+) transparent ceramic phosphors (TCPs) are regarded as the most promising luminescent converter for laser‐driven (LD) lighting. High‐quality YAG:Ce3+ TCPs are still urgent for ...high efficiency LD lighting devices. YAG:Ce3+ TCPs in a vacuum ambience by using nano‐sized raw materials are prepared. Controlling defects by adding nano‐sized MgO and SiO2 simultaneously enables a high transmittance nearly 80%. After annealing in air furthermore, the luminous efficiency is enhanced greatly from 106 to 223 lm W−1, which is the best result reported now for LD lighting. These results demonstrate that the optimizing YAG:Ce3+ TCPs in a fitting strategy will brighten once again in the next‐generation LD lighting. Based on scanning electron microscopy (SEM) coupled with a cathodoluminescence system, defects and Ce3+ distributions in grains are identified directly for the first time.

This article appraises a theoretical model that relates personality, satisfaction, loyalty, ambience, and image in a hotel setting. The results of the structural equation modeling indicated that ...extraversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism among the Big Five Personality Factors significantly affect satisfaction. Satisfaction had a significant impact on hotel image and guests’ loyalty. Compared to satisfaction, hotel image had a lesser impact on loyalty as well as being a mediator for the impact of satisfaction on loyalty. The moderating role of hotel ambience in the proposed theoretical framework was also identified. The results offer hoteliers potential strategies/tactics for loyalty enhancement.

Separating the signals from the mixture when the signals share same frequency and time domain pattern is always a matter of concern. In natural environment, sound events often appear simultaneously, increasing the complexity. Movie making and audio-visual content creation is an industry which covers a huge share of our economy. With the advancement of technology, it becomes important to give audience more realistic experience. But sometimes due to certain environmental conditions, recording devices capture sound signals which overlap with the character voice of the script or required ambience sound either in frequency domain or time domain or in both. To fix the problem, sound engineers mostly dub the sound in the studio and try to collect the ambience sound later on. Further mixing is done during post processing of sound. Although different software tools are available in market, but here aesthetic value and originality of the sound has been compromised. Because, it is very hard to get the exact voice parameters and same ambience in studio environment. This paper gives an overview of different approaches to deal with the overlapping sound by focussing the recently reported literature and highlights the key attributes which are catalysing the evolving scenario.
