Colorectal cancer is often accompanied by multiple organ metastasis. Anaerobic Bifidobacterium Infantis (BI) bacterial can selectively grow in hypoxic colorectal tumor microenvironment (TME), to own ...the natural advantage of preferentially colorectal tumor targeting. Herein, a self-guidance biological hybrid drug delivery system (BI-ES-FeAlg/DOX) based on BI was constructed to inhibit the proliferation and metastasis of colon cancer. Results demonstrated that BI-ES-FeAlg/DOX could overcome physical barriers to target and accumulate in colon tumor tissues. Then DOX was released to kill tumor cells along with the phase transition (solid to liquid) of FeAlg hydrogel, due to Fe3+ was reduced to Fe2+by intracellular GSH. Meanwhile, BI-ES selectively colonized into tumors and expressed endostatin (ES) protein to down-regulate VEGF and bFGF expression, exerting anti-angiogenic effect. Moreover, FeAlg catalyzed H2O2 in the local tumor to generate cytotoxic ·OH, further enhancing the antitumor effect. The pharmacodynamic result in AOM/DSS model proved that BI-ES-FeAlg/DOX had the best therapeutic effect, with the final V/V0 of 2.19 ± 0.57, which was significantly lower than the other groups. Meanwhile, on CT-26 tumor-bearing model, it also showed an outstanding anti-tumor effect with inhibition rate of 82.12% ± 3.08%. In addition, lung metastases decreased significantly in tumor metastasis model after BI-ES-FeAlg/DOX treatment.

Keloids are a notorious fibroproliferative disorder that may cause cosmetic concerns and life inconvenience. Various methods such as surgery, injection, and laser have been used;however, single ...treatments are at risk of recurrence; therefore, comprehensive therapy is the better solution. Here, we focused on the management of different medical interventions according to subjective and objective conditions of keloid patients and summarized several clinical comprehensive strategies based on our clinical experience. One original concept of laser combined with radiotherapy was also introduced as a promising method, especially for wide-based pathological scars.
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is the most common behavioral disorder in childhood. Acupuncture treatment of ADHD has formed a relatively systematic theoretical and clinical ...treatment system which achieved satisfactory results. However, there has been no systematic evaluation of its effectiveness and safety. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of acupuncture in the treatment of ADHD.
A systematic search of literature will be conducted in PubMed, Cochrane Library, the Web of Science, Excerpt Medica Database, Chinese Biomedical Literature Database, VIP, Wanfang database, China National Knowledge Infrastructure database for articles published up to September, 2019. The searching terms include "attention deficit", "hyperactivity", "mild brain dysfunction", "acupuncture", "electroacupuncture". The search is limited to studies published in Chinese and English. Two reviewers will extract and evaluate the information independently. Cochrane Collaboration tool and Jadad scale will be used to evaluate the quality of the studies. Review Manager Version 5.3 (Cochrane Collaboration's software) will be used to carry out the meta-analysis.
High-quality synthesis and/or descriptive analysis of current evidence will be provided from effective rate, total score of traditional Chinese medicines syndromes, conners child hyperactivity-diagnosis rating scale, conners index of hyperactivity, the recurrence rate, and adverse events.
This study will provide the evidence of whether acupuncture is an effective and safe intervention to ADHD.

Anti-N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor (anti-NMDAR) encephalitis is an autoimmune disease associated with the NMDA receptor and has a good response to treatment. However, only few cases related to ...teratoma have been reported. Here, we report a case of teratoma-associated anti-NMDAR encephalitis.
A 25-year-old woman presenting with fever for 20 days and psychiatric symptoms for 9 days was admitted to the hospital. The patient progressed to a minimally conscious state consistent with encephalitis.
Considering the possibility of autoantibody-mediated encephalitis, laboratory tests were conducted to detect anti-NMDAR antibodies in cerebrospinal fluid and serum. Results confirmed the diagnosis of anti-NMDAR encephalitis. Furthermore, gynecological ultrasound investigation detected teratoma in the left ovary.
After resection of the teratoma with laparoscopic adnexectom, the patient was treatment with immunosuppressive therapy.
The patient recovered gradually and was discharged 2 months after the operation.
Anti-NMDAR encephalitis remains difficult to diagnose because of its vague manifestations, and no clinical practice guidelines for prevention and treatment of the disease have been established yet. The clinical data of a case of teratoma-related anti-NMDAR encephalitis were analyzed, and relevant studies were reviewed.
lLTBI (low-dose total-body irradiation) can change the immune microenvironment of tumor.lLTBI (low-dose total-body irradiation) can regulate a variety of signal pathways (such as nuclear factor-κ B, ...p38 / MAPK, c-jun), thereby enhancing the expression and function of immune cells in the body, and it may even change the immune microenvironment of human body through an unknown signal pathway, such as enhancing the connection between PD-1 and PD-L1 and promoting the low expression of CTLA4.lLTBI (low-dose total-body irradiation) can stably stimulate the immune function of cancer patients.lLTBI (low-dose total-body irradiation) can be widely used as a new comprehensive anti-tumor therapy.
The history of low-dose total-body irradiation (LTBI) as a means of radiotherapy for treating malignant tumors can be traced back to the 1920s. Despite this very low total dose, LTBI can induce long-term remissions. Tumor cells are known to change and maintain their own survival and development conditions through autocrine and paracrine signaling. LTBI can change the tumor microenvironment, enhance the infiltration of activated T cells, and trigger inflammatory processes. LTBI-mediated immune response can exert systemic long-term anti-tumor effects, and can induce tumor regression at the primary site and metastatic sites. With a continuous improvement in the anti-tumor immune microenvironment in the field of tumor therapy, LTBI provides more choices to comprehensively treat of tumors. The present study aimed to explore the experimental research mechanism of LTBI and immune microenvironment, and discuss the difficulties and development prospects of applying LTBI to tumor treatment.

Objective: the work purpose is improvement the quality specialized medical care for newborn with a birth trauma of a skeleton. Materials and methods: surveyed 34 full-term newborns with perinatal ...damage of the skeleton, which were treated in the department of surgery (Voronezh) for newborns from 3 years. Among them 12 (35 %) children with fractures of the humerus, 2 (6 %) femur fractures, 20 (59 %) with fractures of the clavicle. Used clinical methods are: assessment of the local status, blood pressure and pulse rate, hourly urine output, assessment of pain syndrome pain scale NIPS, laboratory methods (general analysis of blood and urine, acid-base balance), radiation (x-rays, ultrasound of the brain), instrumental (ECG). Results: the main symptoms in long bone fractures are a swelling in the projection of the fracture, limitation of motion; fractures of the clavicle – crepitus, limitation of motion of the upper limb. 19 (56 %) of patients had systolic blood pressure; tachycardia in 25 (74 %), bradycardia in 3 (9 %). The decrease in hourly urine output was noted in one case in a patient with femur fracture (0.8 ml/kg/h). All newborns experienced pain, while 19 (56 %) – severe pain (7-10 on the scale NIPS), 5 (15 %) – moderate pain (4-6 points), 10 (29 %) - mild pain (0-3 points). Distribution leukocytosis – 13 (38 %), metabolic acidosis in 10 (29 %) children. Fractures of the clavicle on radiographs in 14 (41 %) — fracture in the middle third with displacement, 1 (3 %) — bilateral fracture of the clavicle without displacement, 5 (15 %) — fracture of the middle third without displacement; trauma femur 2 (6 %) fracture in the middle third of the right femur with displacement along the length; the trauma of the humerus — 4 (12 %) fracture in the middle third with displacement along the length of, 8 (24 %) — fracture in the middle third without displacement. According to the ECG, the majority noted the shortening of the electrical systole, increasing systolic index. Conclusion: the taped changes from cardiovascular system according to clinical data of the central hemodynamics, an ECG and also indicators of a pain syndrome at newborns with a birth trauma of a skeleton confirm need of an integrated approach to diagnostics and treatment of little patients.
Abstract Objective To analyze data from the hysteroscopic adhesiolysis of moderate-to-severe intrauterine adhesions (IUAs), and to review the disease etiology, changes in menstruation, uterine ...recovery, and reproductive prognosis of women after comprehensive therapy. Methods In a retrospective descriptive analysis, clinical data were assessed from 683 patients with moderate-to-severe IUAs who were treated by hysteroscopic adhesiolysis at Third Xiangya Hospital, Changsha, China, between January 2007 and December 2011. Patients underwent comprehensive treatment. After hysteroscopic adhesiolysis, a persistent balloon urinary catheter was inserted, together with an intrauterine device (IUD). Intrauterine sodium hyaluronate gel was injected to prevent adhesion reformation, and oral estrogen was administered to promote endometrial regeneration. The outcomes were menstrual changes and uterine recovery under hysteroscopy, and the reproductive prognosis of patients with fertility intentions. Results At the 3-month follow-up, the postoperative recovery of uterine shape was better than the recovery of menstruation among patients with moderate-to-severe IUAs. Among the 475 patients with fertility intentions, the pregnancy and live birth rates were 66.1% (314/475) and 64.0% (201/314), respectively. Conclusion Comprehensive treatment prevented the recurrence of IUAs to a certain extent, but some severe endometrial injuries were found to be irreparable, reducing the rate of subsequent pregnancy and live birth.
In the strip trimming process, defects such as buckle edge, burr, and imbalance of cutoff ratio often occur. This study investigated the mechanism of these defects and analyzed the influence of disc ...shears process parameters, including overlap, clearance, fron and back tension on the quality of strip edge. On this basis, a comprehensive evaluation function of strip trimming quality is proposed. Furthermore, the process parameter optimization technology of the disc shears is developed. Subsequently, an on-line grinding device for strip edge is designed to fundamentally control burr defect. Via field application of this technology and this device, the comprehensive treatment of buckle edge, burr, and imbalance of cutoff ratio is realized. Therefore, improving the quality of finished strip is helpful and has the value of further popularization and application.
