Abstract This quantitative study investigates the level of the culture of dialogue within the Omani family and its hindrances from teachers' perspectives in Ash Sharqiya North Governorate in the ...Sultanate of Oman. Out of 4516 teachers in the governorate in the academic year 2018-2019, 96 teachers participated in the study. The study used a survey, which included two sections; one assessed the level of the culture of dialogue and the second assessed obstacles of family dialogue. The study revealed that, based on the teachers' perspectives, there was a high level of the culture of dialogue in the Omani family. The level of the obstacles of the family dialogue was low. The major obstacles were family dependency on housemaids, other employees at home, and parents being busy. Further, the study indicated that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) in the areas of the culture of dialogue on gender, level of education, social status, and the number of family members. However, a statistically significant difference exists at the level of the culture of dialogue at the gender factor in favor of male teachers. There were no statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) at the hindrances of the culture of dialogue based on gender, level of education, social status, and the number of family members. The main recommendations were: a) activating the culture of dialogue within educational institutions such as schools, b) the importance of parents' awareness of characteristics of children's development stages c) conducting workshops and seminars for parents and d) enhancing the media role for the importance and advantages of the culture of dialogue.
Objetivos: O presente trabalho tem por objetivos promover uma reflexão sobre a inclusão dos Métodos Consensuais de Solução de Conflitos nas Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais (DCNs) dos Cursos de ...Graduação em Direito – Resolução CNE/CES nº 5/2018, com as alterações introduzidas pela Resolução CNE/CES nº 2/2021 –, como conteúdo e prática obrigatórios, visando à construção de uma Cultura do Diálogo.Metodologia: A pesquisa foi documental e bibliográfica, de caráter qualitativa, com natureza exploratória, trabalhando com raciocínio dedutivo. A questão que buscou ser respondida diz respeito ao grau de inserção dos Métodos Consensuais de Solução de Conflitos nas atuais DCNs dos Cursos de Direito e ao possível impacto que tal medida poderá ter na construção da Cultura do Diálogo.Resultado: Conclui-se que, com a implementação das atuais DCNs, passa a haver a exigência legal de que os acadêmicos de Direito passem a estudar, com maior destaque, teórico e prático, os Métodos Consensuais de Solução de Conflitos, ensejando a modificação da cultura de administração dos conflitos jurídicos de uma perspectiva da sentença para uma perspectiva do consenso.Contribuições: A pesquisa demonstrou que o tema é de grande relevância acadêmica e profissional e que, a partir da edição das novas DCNs, os, Métodos Consensuais de Solução de Conflitos, que já se caracterizavam como política pública do estado brasileiro, passam agora a integrar, obrigatoriamente, também a formação de todos os futuros profissionais da área de Direito.
The increasing use of social media at work offers organizations new opportunities for employee learning on the job. This study investigated the relationship between social media use and learning ...activities undertaken by employees. It was expected that social media use relates to higher levels of learning and that this relationship is stronger when employees perceive higher levels of an organization culture that stimulates dialogue and inquiry. A total of 590 respondents of three multinationals based in the Netherlands completed a survey. As expected, results showed that the more often employees used social media in their job, the more often they participated in learning activities. Contrary to expectation, this relationship was not influenced by culture of dialogue and inquiry. Instead, the perception of a culture of dialogue and inquiry directly related to learning on the job. The findings suggest that organizations could consider stimulating the use of social media among employees to support work‐related learning.
The article deals with the problem of the political decision-making process at the court of the Hellenistic Kings. The Hellenistic Kings possessed a strong power and vast material and human ...resources. They took the administrative, legislative, juridical, military and other branches of power in their hands. Nevertheless in many cases when we have the possibility to follow the decision–making process one can notice that many kings preferred the collective forms of searching for the best solution of the state problems. The Hellenistic Kings involved courtiers who were their advisers and consultants in the decision-making process and in many cases were open for dialogue and for free discussions, for the alternative opinions of the advisers. The phenomenon of collective discussion could be easily explained as a political pragmatism, when dialogue, discussion or a brain-storm give much better result to find the right solution and to avoid mistakes. At the same time dialogue and discussion were the immanence of the Greek culture, the Greek cultural “code”. The culture of dialogue and discussion was highly developed in a Greek world. It influenced the education, the cultural and political life, etc. The Hellenistic Kings were educated according to the Greek tradition and they transferred the culture of dialogue and discussion into the political life of the state. Thus political pragmatism was combined with the features of Greek culture.

Demographically open public spaces provide valuable grounds for engaging diverse ideologies. While the rise of society and passive consumption of mass culture excludes “action” and “speech” from the ...public realm and threatens human plurality, a public space in which to hold public debates and discussions will reengage public roles in the public realm. And it will consequently act as a new site for citizenship and new “space of appearance.”
Such space becomes even more essential in a society that dreads conflict. Focusing on Iranian society, the proposal integrates this overlooked opportunity by offering temporary debate interventions to be used around the Iranian cities on a regular basis, envisioning a culture of dialogue incrementally developing.
This is a way of approaching a sociological issue with the help of Architecture, making a role for public space in promoting a culture, a culture that encourages human plurality and appreciates engaging the wide range of diverse ideologies, convictions and viewpoints. Rather than proposing a closed narrative and one single architectural solution for the space of public debate, the thesis imagines an architectural toolkit for application to the specific cultural and urban context.
تهدف هذه الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف على مستوى ثقافة الحوار لدى الأسرة الفلسطينية في محافظة رفح، ولتحقيق ذلك تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي، وتم توزيع الاستبانة على عينه من الآباء بلغت (540) وعينة من ...الأبناء بلغت (540) منهم: (378 من الذكور، و162 من الإناث) بواقع 2% من إجمالي مجتمع الدراسة وتوصلت الدراسة إلى عدة نتائج أهمها: فضلا عن أهمية وفائدة الحوار في تحقيق السعادة الأسرية وتوفير جو من المحبة والمودة والراحة النفسية بين أعضاء الأسرة. ارتفاع مستوى ثقافة الحوار الأسري، وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا في مستوى الحوار الأسري وفقا للنوع لصالح الذكور أكثر من الإناث. وغيابها وفقا لعدد أفراد الآسرة -طبيعة عمل الأب -مكان السكن-المؤهل التعليمي للأب -عمر الأب.
Različiti su oblici »govora« crkvenih službenika kako ad intra tako i ad extra, prema van, to jest prema društvu, državi i općenito svijetu u kojem kršćani žive. U ovom radu pod naslovom ...Teološko‑socijalni govor Crkve u Hrvatskoj u stvaranju kulture dijaloga i pomirenja autor se bavi pitanjem uloge i mjesta kršćana i vjere u javnom životu kao i o ulozi Katoličke crkve prema zbivanjima u javnom životu u Hrvatskoj. Riječ je, zapravo, o društvenoj dimenziji vjere, koja je u Hrvatskoj još uvijek ne samo nejasno nego velikim dijelom pitanje obavijeno brojnim poteškoćama kako unutar Crkve tako, još više, u društvenom prostoru. Na temelju postkoncilskoga socijalnog nauka Crkve autor ukazuje na brojne, ali dosad neiskorištene mogućnosti koje Crkva u Hrvatskoj posjeduje u stvaranju kulture dijaloge i pomirenja u sve više podijeljenom hrvatskom društvu. U prvom dijelu rada pod naslovom Koliki je stvarni utjecaj govora crkvenih službenika u hrvatskoj javnosti? autor propituje stvarni utjecaj Crkve na društvena zbivanja u Hrvatskoj koji u posljednjih deset do petnaest godina rapidno slabi. Mnogostruki su razlozi za to, a jedan od važnijih, prema argumentaciji autora, jest sadržaj i način kako crkveni službenici prenose socijalnu poruku evanđelja u hrvatsko društvo. U Hrvatskoj se još uvijek nije oblikovao konkretni socijalni govor Crkve koji bi bio razumljiv i prihvatljiv hrvatskom društvu. U takvoj situaciji ulogu tumača crkvenih stavova u odnosu na društvena zbivanja u Hrvatskoj preuzeli su civilni stručnjaci za vjerska pitanja, koji ipak ne posjeduju nužno potrebne teološko‑crkvene kompetencije za prenošenje socijalnog govora Crkve u konkretno hrvatsko društvo. Tako se iz javnog diskursa postupno izbacuje crkvene i teološke stručnjake, koji bi svojim teološko‑socijalnim govorom mogli pridonijeti razvoju hrvatskog društva. Drugi dio rada pod naslovom Aktualnost i mogućnosti teološko‑socijalnog govora Crkve ukazuje na brojne mogućnosti koje postkoncilski pape Pavao VI., Ivan Pavao II., Be nedikt XVI. i papa Franjo nude u oblikovanju teološko socijalnog govora određene krajevne Crkve, u ovom slučaju Crkve u Hrvatskoj. Četvorica rimskih biskupa, što je veoma važno, postupno nude zajedničku platformu na temelju koje je moguće vjernicima katolicima aktivno sudjelovati u javnom životu određenog društva. Sve se može sažeti u središnju socijalnu poruku pape Ratzingera, to jest u sve prisutniju opasnost sekularističke vizije društva i javnog života u kojoj nema mjesta za Boga, ali i u pokušaju socijalnog nauka Crkve da vjera iznova zadobije mjesto u javnom životu. U trećem poglavlju Crkveni doprinos kulturi dijaloga i pomirenja kao »povijesni kairos« u očuvanju vjerskoga i nacionalnog identiteta autor ukazuje na različite mogućnosti koje socijalni nauk Crkve nudi u oblikovanju kulture dijaloga i pomirenja u socijalnom učenju Benedikta XVI. i pape Franje. Poseban naglasak stavlja se na socijalni nauk pape Franje, koji upravo u dijalogu vidi put izlaska iz krize u kojoj sve više tone današnji svijet.
U radu se navode nedostatci tradicionalnih oblika profesionalnog razvoja učitelja (odgajatelja), a ističe vrijednost kontinuiranog istraživanja vlastite odgojno-obrazovne prakse, koje učitelje ...osposobljava za refleksivne praktičare. Takav se pristup profesionalnom razvoju, koji otvara put emancipaciji i profesionalnoj autonomiji učitelja, velikim dijelom oslanja na njihovo profesionalno povezivanje, zajedništvo i suradnju. Povezivanje i suradnja učitelja sa sustručnjacima vode prema razvoju profesionalne zajednice učenja, u kojoj oni zajedno istražuju i raspravljaju o vlastitoj odgojno-obrazovnoj praksi, i kontinuirano zajednički uče. Akcijskim - etnografskim istraživanjem, provedenim u četiri vrtića, nastojala se postupno podizati kvaliteta odgojno-obrazovne prakse te postići kultura dijaloga i zajedničko učenje kroz raspravu. U istraživanju se pokazalo kako kvaliteta zajedničkih rasprava svih djelatnika vrtića istodobno potiče razvoj odgojno-obrazovne prakse, ali se kroz razvoj prakse i sama povratno razvija. Kako predstavlja uzrok, ali i posljedicu ostvarivanja kvalitetnije odgojno-obrazovne prakse, rasprava se može smatrati temeljnim modalitetom zajedničkog učenja odgajatelja i stručnih suradnika vrtića te instrumentom razvoja vrtića u cjelini.
