The purpose of the article/hypothesis: In recent years, there has been a noticeable and dynamic development of micromobile equipment intended for the transport of people. These types of vehicles are ...known as personal transport equipment (PTE). Like any road vehicle, PTE can also cause numerous accidents and collisions. A natural consequence of damage related to the use of PTE is posing the question about securing the interests of the aggrieved parties. Considering the above, the aim of this paper is to present the role of civil liability insurance for users of personal transport equipment in the context of claims related to the use of this type of vehicles and to provide a brief description of insurance products available on the market. The paper presents the following thesis: although the regulations do not oblige PTE users to have a civil liability insurance policy, a wide catalogue of adverse events related to the PTE use requires the popularisation of insurance protection for users of this type of vehicles. Such insurance protection should cover: equipment users, renters, sellers, and operators, as well as households. Methodology: The paper is theoretical and analytical in its nature. In addition to the review of the available literature, the existing offer of voluntary insurance for PTE users is also analysed. Results of the research: Insurance addressed to users of personal transport equipment is a relatively new product on the market and still few insurance companies have it in their offer. PTE users can utilise their civil liability insurance often being part of their home insurance in their private life, which offers protection in the event of damage to third parties. One of the solutions leading to the dissemination of insurance protection could be a proposal of insurance tailored to the type of risk and short-term use associated with this kind of equipment (e.g. travel-type insurance).
An overview of the Italian scenario has been developed considering the driving role SMEs play in the economic structure of the country and the pioneering function they have played in R&D and ...Innovation of Italy and of the whole Union in general. Through secondary data provided by various sources, such as the Cordis1 database, Istat and CIS 20182 we have done the analysis of regional disparities, which is also evident in the access to the European funds for research and innovation of SMEs. The purpose of this paper is to highlight the position held by Italy in relation to the opportunities offered by the European Union in the field of R&D and innovation, reflecting the changes that can be undertaken by the Italian national policy to serve as a bridge between the European institutions that offer these types of funds and SMEs and to better guide the latter towards the appropriate resources based on their distinctive characteristics which constitute a great development potential.

This paper contributes to the existing ...literature of sustainability and digital transformation in developing countries. The mix-method has been used. Quantitative data have been collected from 355 managers from the observed bank. The qualitative data were sourced from publicity available information regarding 2020 and 2021. The results of quantitative data, processed by appropriate statistical procedures, pointed to self-reinforcement stage of digital transformation. The analysis of sustainability indicators revealed the higher values of Bank Contribution to the “Social Product”, and training and new employment. The subject of the research are systemic changes in the world economic order, both those that led to the formation of the international economic system in its current form, and the current processes ...that lead to its disintegration. The most important financial, economic and geo-economic mechanisms that enabled the establishment of an economic order based on the dominance of the most developed countries of the West refer to: 1) the abolition of the gold standard, 2) the establishment of the petrodollar mechanism, and 3) the replacement of the role of the national economy by the dominance of transnational companies. These phenomena have been identified as the basis of the unipolar system of the world economy. As the established system represents a brake on the further development of the economy outside the dominant structure, new emerging powers (BRICS and others) are establishing parallel economic mechanisms that overcome the set limitations. In the article, these processes are conditionally called the resistance economy, a term that originally refers to the resistance of an individual economy to the negative effects of the environment. The development of a multi-currency monetary system, the establishment of alternative payment systems, the loss of dollar exclusivity in the energy trade of the Middle East, and the change in the overall relationship of OPEC economies to the demands of the USA were identified as the most important. These processes are not the cause of the disintegration of the existing order, but an obstacle to its restructuring. Since these are concrete, formally and institutionally regulated financial and other economic mechanisms, it can be considered that the process of change from a unipolar to a multipolar system of the world economy is irreversible.
Profitable entrepreneurship, andragogical education and ingenious educational gamification are the values that were systematically subordinated to indicators that exemplify the ethical justification ...for the application of the principle of sustainable development in the social context of a gastronomic establishment. On the one hand, the article presents the corpus of the gamification method based on storytelling and the accompanying roles played: killer, socialiser, achiver and explorer in the real world, on the other hand, it transfers the context of the marketing impact into the reality of social selling (FB). The study explains the andragogical value of gamification in the daily functionality of the restaurant as a small family enterprise. The text justifies the importance of the synergy of sustainable development systems in increasing the rank of values: loyal employee attitude, co-worker efficiency and customer loyalty. The last value, the most crucial among all the others, determines the social and economic resilience of an economic entity in the local social ecosystem.
Research into the profitability dynamics of the banking sector is continuously current, significant, and complex. Bearing that in mind, this paper measures and analyzes the profitability dynamics of ...the banking sector in Serbia using FLMAW MARCOS methods. The empirical results obtained by applying the given methodology show that the five best years of achieved profitability in the banking sector in Serbia in the period 2008 - 2022 are in order: 2018, 2017, 2008, 2019 and 2022. The worst profitability was achieved in 2013. Recently, the profitability of the banking sector in Serbia has improved. It was influenced by the economic climate, management of human resources, assets, capital, sales of banking products, costs, and profits. The digitalization of the entire business plays a significant role in this. The impact of the Covid-19 corona virus pandemic, as well as the global energy crisis, is significant. In order to improve the profitability of the banking sector in Serbia, it is necessary to manage human resources, assets, capital, sales, costs and profits as efficiently as possible and adapt to changes in the economic climate.
Sample size estimation is a necessary and crucial step in clinical trial research. Statistical requirements, limited patient availability and high financial risk of a clinical trial necessitate the ...proper calculation of this measure. The aim of this paper is to discuss the reasons why the estimation of the sample size is important and, based on the obtained results, to show how this process may be completed in selected cases. Stochastic simulations based on the Monte Carlo methods approach are applied. Therefore, new challenges facing this area of research are mentioned.
The goal of this research is to consider the influences of foreign direct investment and banking sector depth on economic growth, by analysing these factors in six Central and Eastern European ...countries (Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Romania) in the period between 2000 and 2018. Cointegration among the variables was confirmed using the Westerlund panel cointegration test. The outcomes of the panel autoregressive distributed lag model confirmed the positive influence of foreign direct investment and the negative impact of the banking sector depth on the economic growth in the observed countries. The results of the short-term analysis revealed the insignificant influence of the banking sector depth and the notable positive influence of foreign direct investment on economic growth.
