The article analyzes the main features and tendencies of the energy industry in the world countries. The world’s main innovative energy regulatory measures, as well as major innovations in energy ...production are allocated. It is determined that the prevailing part of European countries is more than 50% energy-dependent. It is defined that the main reasons for the need to reform the electroenergetic systems are both evolutionary (in cases where it is caused by objective preconditions) and spontaneous. It is determined that tariff formation is a key aspect of the energy markets regulation, which is due to a combination of components that reflect directly the cost of electricity as a commodity, and also include the cost of additional services, transportation, compensation, thus impacting on the entire organizational and functional mechanism of the electricity market. It is proved that interstate cooperation increases the importance of interstate and international relations with regard to the mechanism for implementing export-import operations. It is defined that the system of operation of the electricity industry sector has demonstrated inefficiency and low adaptability in the conditions of the rise in the cost of hydrocarbon fuel, which leads to the need to modernize and introduce new generating capacities. It is indicated that the provision of advanced demand for electricity leads to an urgent need to restructure the entire electroenergetic complex. It is determined that in order to overcome the identified problems of electroenergetics, most foreign countries have developed concepts and launched the implementation of priority tasks in the direction of structural reform of the electroenergetic sector.

The article is aimed at substantiating the efficient financial instruments for the formation of of the fund of financial resources for modernization of electroenergetics of Ukraine and evaluating the ...potential impact of applying them. Results of an assessment of the prospects of attracting financial resources for modernization of the electroenergetic sector from outside Ukraine urge to look for the available inland possibilities for financing (depreciation fund of enterprises of the industry sector, means of the banking system, resources of private investors). The article proposes a financial instrument for attracting investments for each of the indicated sources and assesses the potential for their use. The carried out study suggests the ability of Ukraine to provide the initial stages of modernization of the electroenergetic sector by means of the domestic sources, which can further become a significant incentive for inflow of foreign investment.

The article presents a model of an autonomous direct current (DC) electric power system with gas turbines, high-speed asynchronous generators with capacitor self-excitation, step-up transformers, ...rectifiers, smoothing filters, cable power lines and loads. When creating the model, blocks of the Simulink, SimPowerSystems and Foundation Library Mechanical libraries of the MATLAB system were used. It is shown that the rejection of alternating current electric power systems in favor of direct current systems can significantly reduce the weight and size indicators of the electrical part of this system. It has been established that direct current voltage stabilization at the beginning of cable lines is possible by changing the turbine speed by using speed feedback. The curves of transient processes are given, both in the mechanical and electrical parts of the DC electric power system during load surge and operation of the automatic reserve device.
Discussed Intelligent technology that will allow the administrative technical and operational staff of the System operator and Federal grid company of Unified energy system, safe operation of power ...equipment according to factual technical condition. Studies show that the prediction of the technical condition is the most effective method of improving the operational reliability of various equipment. Diagnosis and prediction of the state allow timely decisions on the need and scope of preventive work. These works are aimed at the timely detection of possible defects and maintaining the operational state of the electric power facilities. The article shows that the systems for diagnosing and predicting the state of complex technical objects belong to the class of poorly structured systems. The limited amount of reliable data on the actual technical condition of the object under investigation leads to the fact that it is necessary to use both quantitative and qualitative indicators. Uncertainty in assessing the state of the object required the introduction of intelligent technologies focused on working with knowledge. To this end, the article proposes a generalized architecture of an intelligent system for assessing the technical state of complex technical objects of electroenergetics
The aim of the article is to show the beginnings of Polish power engineering in the period from the late 19th century to World War II, with particular emphasis on the power plant in Vilnius and Białystok. The Polish power system was created in three different partitions, which had a significant impact on its further evolution. Both analyzed power plants were built in the Russian partition. The author of the text tries to indicate the most important similarities and differences in the history of their activities
Examples of the use of interrelation factor between conditions or processes of cooperating objects in the electric power industry, for the estimation of effects from the given interaction are ...analyzed by the authors in this paper.
The paper analyses the need for the harmonization of domestic regulations with the ones of the European Union in the field of energy due to the fact the importance of this topic is growing both for ...the national policies and for the European Union as well. In particular, we should take into account the fact that all countries observe the security of energy supply as their strategic issue. The Kosovo* energy system has developed within the frames of the unified state of Yugoslavia, and today there are many areas of co-operation and interdependence of the electric power systems of Serbia and Kosovo*. This co-operation should be based on the economic interests of equal partners and ensuring the security of both systems. The EU energy policy is a process that is in a constant motion and the process is characterized by constant changes, on one hand, and as well as by difficult and slow harmonization and resistance of national policies, on the other hand. Certainly, the objective of harmonization of the regulations in the field of energy is to raise one's own standards in this area in order to enable a better quality of life. The regulation in the field of energy has also got great importance for the protection of consumers, the development of social relations, the reduction of poverty and in general the ability of states to developing their social systems.
