This quantitative study examines the impact of implementing QR codes in English textbooks on students' listening and speaking skills. This study used a quasi-experimental design with pre-tests and ...post-tests within experimental and control classes to evaluate the effectiveness of QR-code content in improving language skills. Sixty students in an Islamic elementary school as the participants will be randomly assigned to an experimental class and a control class. The experimental class used an English textbook published by Erlangga, which is enriched with a QR code connected to multimedia resources for listening and interactive exercises for speaking practice. The control class used a traditional textbook without a QR code. The assessments for both groups will include pre-and post-assessments to evaluate the changes in their listening and speaking skills. The T-test is conducted to determine the significance of the improvement in the experimental class compared to the control class. The study revealed statistically significant improvements in listening and speaking skills among students exposed to QR-code content in English textbooks. AbstrakPenelitian kuantitatif ini bertujuan untuk menguji dampak penerapan kode QR dalam buku pelajaran Bahasa Inggris terhadap keterampilan mendengarkan dan berbicara siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuasi-eksperimental dengan pre-test dan post-test dalam kelas eksperimen dan kontrol untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas konten kode QR dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbahasa. 60 siswa di sebuah sekolah dasar Islam sebagai partisipan akan secara acak ditugaskan ke dalam kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen menggunakan buku pelajaran Bahasa Inggris yang diterbitkan oleh Erlangga yang diperkaya dengan kode QR yang terhubung dengan sumber daya multimedia untuk latihan mendengarkan dan latihan berbicara interaktif. Kelas kontrol menggunakan buku pelajaran tradisional tanpa kode QR. Evaluasi untuk kedua kelompok akan mencakup pre-test dan post-test untuk mengevaluasi perubahan dalam keterampilan mendengarkan dan berbicara mereka. Uji T dilakukan untuk menentukan signifikansi peningkatan dalam kelas eksperimen dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan secara statistik dalam keterampilan mendengarkan dan berbicara di antara siswa yang menggunakan konten kode QR dalam buku pelajaran Bahasa Inggris dari pada siswa yang pembelajarannya secara konvensional.Kata Kunci: Kode QR; Sekolah Dasar; Listening; Speaking
Teachers play a significant role in integrating information and communication technology (ICT) in schools, and motivated teachers reflect higher levels of ICT use in their classroom. In this study, ...we used semistructured interviews to investigate elementary school teachers' ICT use and their motivators for doing so. The participants consisted of 101 elementary school teachers from 24 elementary schools located in the Turkish capital. We discuss and analyze our findings in order to understand the current state of teachers' ICT use and their motivations for using ICT. An overall conclusion from the results is that more concrete encouragement, support and opportunities must be developed to increase teachers' motivation to improve the level and quality of ICT use in classrooms.
Small-group instruction has the potential to support students’ reading growth. Teachers can use knowledge of students’ skill profiles to inform the types and amounts of instruction they provide; ...however, the extent to which teachers do this is largely unknown. Among first (n = 661) and third graders (n = 364), we investigated whether (1) teacher perceptions of students’ academic skills predicted the amount of small-group reading instruction students received; (2) teacher perceptions of students’ behavioral skills predicted instructional time, or moderated relation between academic skills and instructional time; and (3) teaching experience influenced this pattern of results. Although perceptions did not directly predict instructional time, first graders with higher levels of both academic competence and problem behaviors received the most small-group instruction. For first grade, we also found an effect for years of experience teaching at that same grade level. These findings have implications for future study of teachers’ instructional decision-making.

The research was conducted to describe the numeracy literacy abilities of class IV students in geometry material at SDN Kesatrian 1 Malang City and techniques for solving numeracy literacy questions ...in geometry material. The type of research is qualitative research with a case study method. The data collection technique goes through two stages: tests and interviews. The data collection instruments used in this research were test questions and interview grids. Data analysis using student test result documents and interview results using the Miles & Huberman model, namely data reduction, presentation and conclusion. Students with high numeracy literacy abilities have communication skills and context mathematization abilities, students with moderate numeracy literacy abilities can choose problem-solving strategies but do not carry out communication skills, and students with low numeracy literacy abilities do not meet the indicators for numeracy literacy abilities. The problem-solving technique students use is the formula for the perimeter and area of a rectangle. This research aims to help teachers organize mathematics learning based on numeracy literacy.
The purpose of this paper is to describe: 1) number of items in the elementary school mathematics national examination tryout test containing DIF gender and pattern; 2) functionality of differential ...tests on elementary school mathematics national examination tryout test tool organized by the Pythagoras tutoring institute. This study is a quantitative explorative descriptive study with a type of case research, because it describes the characteristics of the elementary school mathematics national examination tryout tests device and is not generalizable. The amount of data used comes from the answer patterns of 919 students consisting of 431 female students and 488 male students. As for the results of this study are: 1) the elementary school mathematics national examination tryout test kit has a different power ranging from 0.282 to 1,129 and the level of grain difficulty ranges from -3,365 to 2,838; 2) Items in the elementary school mathematics national examination try out test containing 34 items or as much as 87.2%; 3) the elementary school mathematics national examination tryout test kit benefited the female group in theta > -3.06 which was seen from the DTF (differential test function) graph in the male and female groups.
