Rostros ocultos es una novela de aspiraciones megalómanas. En ella, Salvador Dalí pretendía acuñar un nuevo término, que completase un trinomio que estaba formado por el masoquismo y el sadismo del ...Marqués de Sade, el cledanismo. Dalí construye una terminología que se ha ido formando poco a poco en el imaginario del pintor una relación constante entre el Eros y el Thánatos. De este modo, en el presente artículo analizaré el desarrollo del tema erótico-tánico en Rostros ocultos y su relación con la obra del catalán a través de las teorías freudianas, tan conocidas por Dalí, y de las teorías dalinianas sobre este tema. Con ello, trataré de crear líneas de desarrollo en su teoría del amor y el erotismo en su obra escrita.

Os inocentes são as vítimas. O Panelenismo denuncia-se como uma construção falaciosa. Eurípides utiliza várias modalidades de discursos de persuasão — sem eficácia persuasiva, mas que desmascaram personagens, sejam os elocutores ou os receptores desses discursos — para dar mais vida a essa tensão de fim de século.
In my PhD thesis (published in 2008), I applied the classification
of symbols’ method proposed by Gilbert Durand to the Orphic corpus.
From Anthropology, Hermeneutics, Psychoanalysis and ...Phenomenology of
religions, I board the symbols’ hubbub, and I obtain interesting results. Durand
defends that the human cosmovisions are tripartites: the symbols of a
people have to do with (a) the instinct of “walking upright”, (b) the instinct of
nourishment (breastfeed) or (c) the reproduction (sex). Plato, in the Timaeus,
also explains the structure of the world from three symbols (father, mother
and son).
In this paper I analyze the word erikepaios in order to find its original
meaning. I based my study on the most recent studies by Alberto Bernabé and
his collaborators, and in certain interpretations of Greek philosophy (Marcel
Detienne, Peter Kingsley, Walter Burkert, etc.). I conclude that, indeed, in the
Orphic texts the protagonist is the dead individual; however, he is the main
character because he is alive, as the reborn, the initiated, the saint child.
En 2008 publicamos una tesis en la que aplicábamos el método de clasificación de símbolos propuesto por Gilbert Durand al corpus órfico. Desde la antropología, la hermenéutica, el psicoanálisis y la fenomenología de las religiones, abordamos la barahúnda de símbolos y obtuvimos resultados interesantes. Según el mencionado “método de convergencia”, las cosmovisiones humanas son tripartitas: los símbolos de un pueblo tienen que ver con (a) el instinto de “caminar erecto”, (b) el de nutrirse (mamar) o (c) el reproducirse (el sexo). Platón, en el Timeo, explica también la estructura del mundo a partir de tres símbolos, a los que designa, entre otras formas, como padre, madre e hijo.
En esta investigación nos embarcamos en el análisis de la palabra erikepaios. Partiendo de los estudios más recientes de Alberto Bernabé y sus colaboradores, y retomando ciertas interpretaciones de la filosofía griega (Marcel Detienne, Peter Kingsley, Walter Burkert, etcétera), concluimos que, efectivamente, en los textos órficos el protagonista es el muerto, pero lo es, sin embargo, por estar vivo: por ser el renacido, el iniciado, el niño santo.
L’articolo analizza Gehirne (1916) di Gottfried Benn, evidenziando come attraverso il rapporto medico-paziente siano elaborati nuclei psicologici profondi che riguardano sia le gerarchie sociali (il ...rapporto tra il medico Rönne e i «borghesi») che, ad un livello inconscio, la relazione padre-figlio. La «prosa assoluta» di Benn, parificando il vivente nel continuo divenire e nell'impotenza di fronte alla morte, è vista in questa prospettiva come un mezzo per eliminare la competizione edipica. Allo stesso tempo essa veicola una critica al linguaggio quotidiano, fondato su illusorie differenze vissute narcisisticamente e aggressivamente verso gli altri. Al linguaggio delle «individualità», Benn oppone una prosa ad alto contenuto analogico che frantuma le autorappresentazioni dell'io e proietta un eros fusionale (si parlerà di qualità «tattile» della vista) nei vuoti di significato che vengono a crearsi.

Comparativamente, el profesional técnico muestra debilidades de interacción si el entorno es complejo y los problemas son blandos y no estructurados. A partir de la hipótesis de trabajo: “los activistas de los partidos políticos presentan un perfil semejante que les permite desenvolverse eficazmente en diversos entornos”, se diseñó un constructo y modelo conceptual para identificar las variables que configuran su éxito. El presente artículo muestra avances de la investigación empírica, intenta describir el perfil del activista político y sus fortalezas, las que se requieren para desenvolverse adecuadamente en ambientes cambiantes.
Emmanuel Falque's The Wedding Feast of the Lamb represents a turning point in his thought. By attending closely to the incarnation and the eucharist, Falque develops a new concept of the body and of love: By avoiding the common mistake of "angelism"--consciousness without body--Falque considers the depths to which our humanity reflects animality, or body without consciousness. He shows the continued relevance of the question "How can this man give us his flesh to eat?" (John 6:52), especially to philosophy. We need to question the meaning of "this is my body" in "a way that responds to the needs of our time" (Vatican II). Because of the ways that "Hoc est corpus meum" has shaped our culture and our modernity, this is a problem both for religious belief and for culture.
The purpose of this pilot study was to evaluate the efficacy of the clitoral therapy device (Eros Therapy) in alleviating sexual dysfunction in irradiated cervical cancer patients.
Eligible patients ...had a history of cervical cancer treated with radiotherapy and self-reported sexual dysfunction of sexual arousal and/or orgasmic disorders. Patients used the noninvasive, nonpharmacologic clitoral therapy device using a hand-held, battery-powered vacuum to cause clitoral engorgement four times weekly for 3 months during foreplay and self-stimulation. Study instruments included the Female Sexual Function Index, Derogatis Interview for Sexual Functioning, and Dyadic Adjustment Scale. The outcome evaluation was performed at 3 months.
Between 2001 and 2002, 15 women were enrolled and 13 completed the study. The median patient age and radiotherapy-enrollment interval was 43.5 years and 2 years, respectively. At baseline, all patients reported symptoms of sexual arousal and/or orgasmic disorders, and some also had sexual desire and pain disorders. At 3 months, statistically significant improvements were seen in all domains tested, including sexual desire, arousal, lubrication, orgasm, sexual satisfaction, and reduced pain. The median Female Sexual Function Index total score increased from 17 to 29.4 (maximal score, 36; p <0.001). The median Derogatis Interview for Sexual Functioning total raw score increased from 46 to 95 (maximal score, 118; p <0.001). At baseline, the Derogatis Interview for Sexual Functioning total T-score corresponded to the bottom 10th percentile of normal sexual functioning. At 3 months, the total T-score placed the patients at the normalcy cutoff. Gynecologic examinations revealed improved mucosal color and moisture and vaginal elasticity and decreased bleeding and ulceration.
Our results from this pilot study suggest that the clitoral therapy device may alleviate sexual dysfunction in irradiated cervical cancer patients. A randomized, controlled trial is warranted to assess the full benefits of this approach.
A recent review of global arid areas supports the idea that there are two patterns to vegetation in arid lands. Patches of thick vegetation alternate with those with much less vegetation or none at ...all. There is a specific size, shape and spatial distribution that characterizes vegetation patterns in arid land ecosystems. In some places, the patches have irregular shapes; these are called spots or Leopard bush. This research project is based on a biophysical approach that integrates information collected in the field, high resolution historical satellite images and Geographical Information System technology. The results revealed that there were certain places in the landscape that facilitate the singular development of the vegetation. The Leopard pattern results from the interaction of various factors (fertility island, fragmentation of vegetation, anthropic influence, herbivorism). Specific characteristics that limit plant life forms are found in the area; since only certain resistant species develop, these form associations and in turn generate strategies to optimize resources. Eventually, this equilibrium is disturbed by human activities in the shape of ungulate livestock breeding and anthropogenic activities, resulting in a heterogeneity of soils and vegetation whose interaction generates the pattern.

This article is an approximation to the interpretation of the female heroic figure in Sophocles, from a study of his works. The human condition determines the level of present heroism in the ...characters; the present dimensions of nobility and villainy in the being distinguished both heroes and heroines. To realize an investigation on the heroine sophoclean allows to contemplate the value of the woman for the author, in such a way that there can be adopted the idea of which, for his enormous distance with the hero and the force of his erotic affections, the poet prefers the woman to enrich his works, without attributing them, though apparent it, a small role.
Este artículo es un acercamiento a la interpretación de la figura heroica femenina en Sófocles, a partir de un estudio de sus obras. La condición humana determina el nivel de heroicidad presente en los personajes; las dimensiones de nobleza y vileza presentes en el ser distinguen tanto a héroes como a heroínas. Realizar una indagación sobre la heroína sofoclea permite contemplar la valía de la mujer para el autor, de tal manera que puede adoptarse la idea de que, por su enorme distancia con el héroe y la fuerza de sus afecciones eróticas, el poeta prefiere a la mujer para enriquecer sus obras, sin atribuirles, aunque ello aparente, un papel pequeño.
