Pedagogy as a social-humanistic science that deals with upbringing and education expresses its complexity through a plurality of ideas, understandings and opportunities for studying, learning and ...researching educational practice. The methodology dealt with by experimental and quasi-experimental pedagogy is exact and serves to establish reliable data, i.e., it searches for facts and evidence that can replace research hypotheses. A synonym for quasi-experimental pedagogy is “new pedagogy” because the evaluation of research quality in educational practice can be defined through the methodological basis of research, originality, novelty and significance. The question arises: how many quasi-experiments have been conducted so far that researchers are not even aware of, that is, they have not called this type of research by its real name? The main goal of theoretical research is to analyze the crucial differences between non-experimental, experimental and quasi-experimental research. From the presented goal of the research arises the research task which is reflected in seeking to affirm quasi-experimental research in pedagogy with the aim of bringing closer to the scientific public the characteristics and advantages of quasi-experiments in terms of streamlining implementation and practicality in the natural school environment. The paper uses the theoretical analysis method with the content analysis technique. The authors presented conclusions about the importance of quasi-experimental research as a special epistemological-methodological approach in determining the causality of educational phenomena.
The aim of this research work is to emphasize the importance of motor education in people's formation, starting from primary school (Sibilio & Aiello, 2011). Currently, the school hours allocated to ...this discipline are not sufficient enough to express its real potential role in the effective physical, social and educational development, therefore it is very important to improve the educational planning (Gomez Paloma, Agrillo & D'Anna, 2013). In this regard, this work proposes an experimental motor education program "for all" to be developed in just 20 hours in primary schools, with the aim of increasing the educational level of young students (including a disabled) in five key thematic areas (Callea et al, 2008; Herrmann, Gerlach & Seelig, 2015): Movements coordination and orientation in space and time; Recognizing the different parts of one' s own body and that of others; Peer cooperation in teamwork; Individual and environmental well-being; Expressing emotions through body movement and face expression; The research methodology is based on an empirical and observational approach, in line with the main studies in the pedagogical field, which allows analyzing in detail the progress made by the students from a motor, social-relational and educational point of view (López-Pastor et al, 2013; McKenzie et al, 2010; Morgan & Hansen, 2008). The results are measured by means of an evaluation protocol that is applied both before and after the administration of the experimental project, in order to estimate if an educational development in relation to the positive grade variation can be observed. The research carried out fulfills the starting research purpose set, and is the basis for future studies in the field of educational sciences, aimed at the growth of the individual through a suitable didactic motor education program in the school system.
The role of motor education in primary school is increasingly important. To obtain effective training for young students it is important to design new experimental pedagogical protocols. This ...research work aims to build an innovative motor education protocol in the school that can help children towards better educational growth. In this regard, the hypothesized didactic proposal was tested on a sample class, and observations on both ex-ante and ex-post groups were analyzed and compared in order to frame the quality of the project in pedagogical, motor and social terms.
Eight responses, from India, Canada, the US, and Australia, highlight pedagogical issues that are raised in the essay 'Integrated Foundation Studio and Art History at the School of the Art Institute ...of Chicago'. The comments includes questions of practicability, history of pedagogy, similar initiatives, and philosophic assumptions.
Training young people through motor and sports education is an element of considerable interest in the sphere of pedagogical sciences; it requires continuous research and studies aimed at ...experimenting with new protocols of action, and new evaluation strategies capable of appreciating and bringing to the fore educational aspects rather than those "performance-based" ones. In this regard, the aim of this research study is to frame a suitable evaluation scheme that can measure the formative and educational evolution, generated by an experimental protocol for the formative growth of 100 young people aged between 5 and 8 years, based on motor and sports activity. Furthermore, this will also make it possible to propose an innovative path of growth by means of sport in the landscape of the educational sciences.
The aim of this research contribution is to frame innovative pedagogical paths for school-age students through experimental programs implemented in non-formal educational contexts, such as motor and ...sports activities. In this regard, an experimental project; through sports activities, it involves both the implementation of an educational growth protocol and a shared development of an evaluation grid between students and teachers. The results allow us highlighting the way in which, through motor and sports education (even if practiced in extra-curricular contexts), it is possible to make the formative growth of school-age children more efficient, and to develop in them a series of pedagogical and educational values that are indispensable for correctly and completely building the individual.
