Because engineering design, that is very important not only to nation’ s economy but also to sustainability of the earth, is conducted mainly by engineers, design education is the core of engineering ...education. In addition, the collaborative design education is very important for deep understanding of knowledge and the development of creativity, social skills and others. This paper presents the global trend, educational contents, pedagogy, in particular project-based learning, and evaluation of the design education. Further, it discusses the graduation thesis, which many faculties consider so important that they reject to replace with design project, in terms of its purpose, importance and educational methods, and points out that the conventional education should be changed to the combined education of knowledge acquirement and application such as the design.

Define the content of training programs on information security, as well as the amount of knowledge in the field of mathematics and information technologies needed for the development of this program. Formulated requirements to the results of development of the program and noted the need to include the protection of information in coursework and final qualifying work.
The evaluation of graduation thesis needs to consider from many aspects to make the final evaluation of each factor. The traditional evaluation method with weighted method has a loss of objectivity ...and lack of convincing. In view of the existing problems, it proposed that using Hopfield method to evaluate the graduation thesis. Through the existing evaluation results, the evaluation criteria were got. The evaluation criteria were stored in the network. When inputting the pre-evaluation thesis to the network, Hopfield neural network will run by itself. The pre-evaluation thesis will converge to the closest level. The experiments were carried out with 10 group's data. The experimental results show that this method can effectively evaluate the graduation thesis, and the evaluation results more rapid, rational and objective.
This paper describes the graduation thesis course (CT) of the computer engineering program at UnicenP, at University in Curitiba, south of Brazil. The main objective of this course is the ...consolidation of the several contents and concepts handled throughout the entire engineering program. The graduation thesis is an interdisciplinary activity, obligatorily outlined for software and hardware development, the two great subject areas of the program. Each student develops his own project or in two students' teams during the school year. A professor is assigned for each student's supervision. The supervision begins still in the project's proposal definition phase and lasts until its defense before the board of examiners of the GT. The projects' evaluation is carried through by the Board of Examiners, which is composed by the faculty, either supervisors or assigned by the program's chair. The student, however, proposes the work themes subject to the approval, adaptation or substitution on the part of the commission of the course.
