Durch die Entwicklungen im Bereich der Präzisionsmaschinen bzw. der Ultrapräzisionsbearbeitung von Oberflächen konnten zahlreiche Fortschritte bei der Herstellung großflächig mikrostrukturierter ...Formwerkzeuge erzielt werden. Mithilfe dieser Werkzeuge können z.B. Folien zur gezielten Lichtlenkung bei Computer-Displays oder platzsparende Beleuchtungskonzepte realisiert werden. Die innovativen Bearbeitungskonzepte stellen allerdings immer neue Herausforderungen für die notwendige Absicherung der Produktionsprozesse dar. Bei der Herstellung von großflächig mikrostrukturierten Oberflächen werden Messverfahren benötigt, mit denen komplexe Oberflächengeometrien in optischer Qualität schnell und möglichst direkt in der Werkzeugmaschine charakterisiert werden können. Von zentraler Bedeutung ist dabei die Messung steiler Kantengeometrien und die Reduzierung der Messzeit. Die hier vorgestellten Verfahren beruhen auf der gezielten Verkippung von mikrostrukturierten Bauteilen bzw. dem Einsatz flexibler Beleuchtungskonzepte, um Oberflächen mit steilen Flankenwinkeln messbar zu machen. Ein weiterer Ansatz basiert auf der Übertragung der interferometrischen Formprüfung in den Mikrostrukturbereich. Es wird dargestellt, wie Mikroprismen- und Mikrosphärenarrays schnell und vollautomatisiert hinsichtlich Formfehlern geprüft werden können.

Les récentes avancées dans le domaine des plates-formes d’instrumentation légères telles que les drones ou les nano-satellites ont fortement augmenté la demande de capteurs compacts, y compris les ...capteurs d’imagerie hyperspectrale infrarouge qui sont utilisés, de nos jours, dans des nombreuses applications militaires et civiles. Nous proposons une nouvelle caméra hyperspectrale compacte infrarouge dont les performances nous permettront de viser les domaines applicatifs tels que la détection de gaz (panaches volcaniques ou industriels), la détection de véhicules militaires, la surveillance d’ouvrages (barrages, pipelines) ou encore l’agriculture. Pour y arriver, nous avons choisi la spectro-imagerie par transformée de Fourier utilisant un interféromètre biréfringent à décalage latéral. Nous avons ensuite procédé à une modélisation approfondie de tels interféromètres afin de déterminer une configuration optimale associant compacité et résolution spectrale requise. Cette modélisation a été utilisée pour dimensionner trois prototypes avec des spécifications précises : deux prototypes dans le moyen infrarouge, l’un entièrement refroidi et l’autre partiellement refroidi et un prototype dans le lointain infrarouge. Nous avons ensuite réalisé le prototype partiellement refroidi que nous avons caractérisé en laboratoire et que nous avons mis en œuvre sur le terrain. Cette campagne de mesures nous a permis d’obtenir des images hyperspectrales dans des conditions réelles d’utilisation. Par l’analyse de ces images, nous avons évalué les performances opérationnelles de notre système et identifié les points à améliorer.
Recent advances in the field of lightweight technical platforms like UAV or nano-satellite have increased the demand for compact sensors including infrared hyperspectral cameras which are used nowadays in number of military and civilian applications. We propose a new compact infrared hyperspectral camera, the performance of which will allow it to be used in applications like gas detection, military vehicle detection, industrial installation surveillance or agriculture. To do so, we have chosen Fourier transform imaging spectrometry using a birefringent lateral shearing interferometer. Thereafter, we have deeply studied wave propagation in such an interferometer to find out optimal geometries, and we have designed three prototypes: two in the mid-infrared, partially and entirely cooled, and the other in the far infrared spectral domain. The partially cooled prototype has been realized, characterized in the laboratory and tested on the field. This field campaign provided hyperspectral images on real operating conditions. Analysis of these images allowed us to estimate the performance of our system and to identify the points to be improved.
O objetivo deste trabalho foi estabelecer as relações entre os parâmetros dendométricos de florestas e a resposta da radiometria e da interferometria obtidas por sensores SAR (Synthetic Aperture ...Radar), utilizando técnicas de regressão multivariada. Uma área de povoamento de Eucalyptus grandis, com 6,1 anos de plantio, foi selecionada para estudo. Os resultados indicaram que o volume das parcelas foi altamente correlacionado com o logaritmo da altura interferométrica (LogHint) obtida pela diferença entre os modelos interferométricos nas bandas X e P, enquanto que o DAP (Diâmetro à Altura do Peito) apresentou melhor relação com a combinação da coerência interferométrica na banda PVV (CohPVV) e o LogHint. A altura comercial da vegetação, similarmente ao DAP, foi melhor explicada com a combinação da CohPvv e o LogHint. Os resultados obtidos demonstraram que, devido ao povoamento ser constituído de indivíduos cuja estrutura era predominantemente cilíndrica de orientação vertical, houve uma maior interação com a polarização VV. Os resultados indicaram também que a resposta radiométrica na banda P, de maior comprimento de onda, não foi tão eficaz quanto a interferometria (CohPvv e o LogHint) para estimativa dos parâmetros dendométricos estudados, obtendo índices de determinação de 84 a 88% em relação ao inventário florestal das áreas.
A caracterização das madeiras das florestas brasileiras requerem um trabalho muitocomplexo devido ao grande número de espécies disponíveis em todo o território nacional.Os métodos de caracterização ...existentes demandam muito tempo e tem custos muitoaltos além de não terem muita precisão. Esta pesquisa descreve um novo método paracaracterização de madeiras baseado na técnica fotoelástica de Moiré. Esta família demetodos são hábeis para gerarem microfotografias do objeto de estudo, assim como dedeterminarem a distribuição de tensão e formação em objetos a partir de uma cargacontrolada,isto ocorre devido a padrões de regiões claras e escuras geradas por umagrade sobreposta. A técnica de moiré aumenta os deslocamentos sendo consideradouma técnica fotoelástica. Três amostras de madeiras diferentes foram submetidas a cargasaxiais antes da falha enquanto um padrão de difração foi projetado nas amostras. Oarranjo experimental foi formado por uma câmera digital para capturar os padrões demoiré gerados,e estas imagens foram processadas pelos softwares Gimp e Idrisi. Ostestes foram conduzidos na Faculdade de Engenharia Agrícola da Universidade Estadualde Campinas.

...Castellano: los radares de apertura sintética (SAR - Synthetic Aperture Radar) proporcionan imágenes de alta resolución, pero no fueron, en un principio, diseñados para la detección de objetivos móviles. No obstante, en la última década se ha acentuado el interés por las capacidades en teledetección que ofrecen este tipo de radares tanto a nivel civil como militar con un número cada vez mayor de misiones espaciales como las de TerraSAR-X, TanDEM-X, RADARSAT-2 o el futuro proyecto español SEOSAR/PAZ. El objetivo principal de este Proyecto Final de Carrera es el estudio de las capacidades MTI (Moving Target Indication) de los sistemas SAR espaciales actuales con configuración dual en recepción en el marco de la monitorización del tráfico marino. Se ponen bajo análisis las técnicas DPCA (Displaced Phase Center Antenna) y ATI (Along-Track Interferometry) tanto para la detección como la estimación de velocidades. Por último, para evaluar el correcto funcionamiento de estos métodos se realizan una serie de pruebas de Montecarlo y se procesan datos sintéticos de diferentes escenas y configuraciones SAR con una herramienta de simulación: UPC SAR-MTI.

No obstant això, en l'última dècada s'ha accentuat el interès per les capacitats en teledetecció que ofereixen aquest tipus de radars tant a nivell civil com militar amb un nombre creixent de missions espacials com les de TerraSAR-X, TanDEM-X, RADARSAT-2 o el futur projecte espanyol SEOSAR/PAZ. L'objectiu principal d'aquest Projecte Final de Carrera és l'estudi de les capacitats MTI (Moving Target Indication) dels sistemes SAR espacials actuals amb configuració dual en recepció en el marc de la monitorització del trànsit marí. S'analitzen les tècniques DPCA (Displaced Phase Center Antenna) i ATI (Along-Track Interferometry) tant per a la detecció com l'estimació de velocitats. Finalment, per avaluar el correcte funcionament d'aquests mètodes es realitzen una sèrie de proves de Montecarlo i es processen dades sintètiques de diferents escenes i configuracions SAR amb una eina de simulació: UPC SAR-MTI.
English: Synthetic Aperture Radars (SAR) provide high resolution images, but they were not initially designed to detect moving targets. However, in the last decade, the interest in remote sensing capabilities provided by this type of radars, in both civilian and military context, has increased, as testified by the growing number of space-borne missions such as RADARSAT-2 or the future Spanish project SEOSAR/PAZ. The main objective of this work is the study of space-borne dual channel MTI (Moving Target Indication) SAR systems in the maritime traffic monitoring framework. DPCA (Displaced Phase Center Antenna) and ATI (Along-Track Interferometry) techniques are analyzed in terms of their detection and velocity estimation capabilities. Finally, in order to test the performance, Monte Carlo simulations are used and different scenes and SAR features are reproduced with an UPC SAR-MTI simulation tool.
The present paper presents a three-dimensional mathematical model to solve the problems of creation and transmission of holograms, helping to harness future investigations in the field and to allow ...seeing holographic communications until now only in fiction films. This investigation sets out to expose a mathematical model able to be used to capture, to store or to transmit and to reconstruct holograms of single phase in the free space, the algorithms of compression necessary to obtain are also exposed. Concepts appear about the Telematic and the optics which are important for the present investigation. A verification of the model is presented and the conclusions of the investigation are commented.
El presente trabajo de investigación presenta un modelo matemático tridimensional para solucionar los problemas de creación y transmisión de hologramas, ayudando a potenciar futuras investigaciones en el campo y permitir las comunicaciones holográficas vistas hasta ahora en películas de ficción. Esta investigación se propone exponer un modelo matemático capaz de ser utilizado para capturar, almacenar ó transmitir y reconstruir hologramas de solo fase en el espacio libre, los algoritmos de compresión necesarios para lograrlo también son expuestos. Se presentan conceptos acerca de la telemática y la óptica los cuales son importantes para la presente investigación. Una verificación del modelo es presentada y se comentan las conclusiones de la investigación.
