Abstract
The aim of this paper is to describe the relations between the religious communities in the Republic of North Macedonia. This paper will examine the history of each of the most numerous ...traditional religious communities in the country, the history of the dialogue between them and its present situation, the communication and mutual influences, as well as the attempts to overcome disagreements and misunderstandings. It is an overview of the most important activities of the dialogues and challenges in relation to the events and changes in the country.
This paper examines works in two of the major streams of thought in contemporary Continental philosophy of religion and theology—theopoetics and political theology—that loosely hang together by two ...shared threads: philosopher‐cum‐(radical)theologian John D. Caputo and the question of how to live well with the Other. After examining each book in turn, I weave their thoughts together showing how both theopoetics and radical political theology have the same shared aim. This aim is, namely, to deconstruct harmful and outdated narratives about God that have created unjust political systems and relations with other religions, to in turn continually ‘make‐true’ the democracy to‐come.
The article analyzed the basic features of the transformation of the religious policy of the European leaders in 2010s on the examples of the France and Germany. The main elements of such policy are ...the appeal to the subject of the meaning of the Christianity for the culture and identity of the country, the attention to the cooperation with the religious associations, to the defining of the new tendencies on the controlling of the religious activities. In the frames of the political system that not provided the wide participation of the religious institutions in public policy that turn of European leaders is a breakthrough and new period of the religious involvement (mainly Christianity) in the shaping of the European culture and the common European space
The article analyzed the last sociological surveys on religious life in Europe. The attention on the large scale was given to the problems of the perceiving by the Europeans of their own religious ...identity, the significance of the faith in the life of the secular society and its citizens. The author concluded that the religious identity in the context of the migration, social and political crisis preserved its value in the social and political life. The identity becomes the important evidence of the societal attempts to find the answers on the challenges of the modernity
The aim of this paper is to present the internal structure of the Readiness to Engage in Interreligious Dialogue Test (REIDT). The definition of a dialogue in a democratic society forms the ...theoretical framework for the test construction. The readiness to engage in interreligious dialogue was defined as a mental readiness to exchange views on religious topics, based on a symmetrical exchange of thoughts, aimed at creation of mutual understanding by people with different religious affiliations, involved in cooperation to meet this objective. The REIDT consists of 36 items, factor analysis revealed four dimensions of interreligious dialogue: readiness to exchange views on religious topics, readiness to seek mutual understanding, internal barriers for the symmetry of a dialogue, and readiness to communicate with representatives of other religions. The paper includes a brief description of the stages of work on the structure of the method and the reliability and validity indicators.
One of the reasons why theological-based dialogue is rarely used as a model for interfaith dialogue at the grassroots level is the assumption that this dialogue model can only involve religious elite ...groups. This research focuses on the practice of Scriptural Reasoning, as a theological-based dialogue model, which cannot only involve participants from religious elite groups but can also involve a wider range of participants, including at the grassroots level. By examining the practice of Scriptural Reasoning by an interfaith youth community, Young Interfaith Peacemaker Community (YIPC), this case study found that although Scriptural Reasoning was originally a practice among academics and theologians, its core principle of adaptability allows it to be accessible to participants at the grassroots level. Therefore, this study contends that Scriptural Reasoning could be employed as an alternative interreligious dialogue model in Indonesia, which not only emphasizes the significance of theological-based dialogue but also offers adaptability for implementation at the grassroots level, especially among youth.
The second volume of the series Key Concepts in Interreligious Discourses points out the roots of the concept of ''human rights'' in Judaism, Christianity and Islam. It shows how far the universal ...validity of ''human rights'' opposes in some crucial points with religious traditions. The volume demonstrates that new perspectives are introduced to the general discussion about human rights when related to religious traditions. Especially the interreligious viewpoint proves that a new kind of debate about human rights and its history is necessary.

Abstract
Due to the federal structure of Switzerland, interreligious activities are also strongly influenced by cantonal contexts. Based on published material as well as on semi-directive interviews ...with key protagonists, the article analyses three cases of interreligious dialogue - two cantonal cases from the German-, or respectively French-speaking part of the country and the more general case of a women's network. In the cantonal cases, interreligious dialogue is strongly linked to state-religion relation and serves as a tool for inclusion of new religious communities and for social cohesion. In each of the two cases, there are specific forms and organisational structures of dialogue. In contrast to these examples, the third case is more independent of political interests and often adopts a critical stance. Thus two types of interreligious discourse and relationship with the state can be identified which can also be seen as complementary: either a more critical voice keeping distance from power, or a collaboration with political structures strengthening the religious communities' influence within the system.
The current study analyzed the specifics of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Federation of Malaysia keeping in view the relationship between religion and state. For Kazakhstan, which has a ...multi-confessional and multi-ethnic specificity, it is extremely important to study and examine the experience of other peer countries. In this context, Malaysia, as a multi-confessional and multi-ethnic state, has its own experience in maintaining the relationship between state and religion. Kazakhstan, which has enshrined itself in its constitution as a secular state, has always focused on improving the state's policy on religion, regulating the activities of religious associations in view of democratic requirements and defining the complex aspects of the relationship between state and religion. For Kazakhstan, it is of particular importance to differentiate its model of a secular country dominated by the representatives of Islam. For this purpose, the country chosen for comparison was Malaysia, which has excellent development indicators. The current study determined the specific features of the two countries in the in terms of ethnic and confessional composition, the structure of public administration, religious education, activities of religious associations, interreligious dialogue and tolerance, the fight against religious extremism, and terrorism via historical and comparative analysis.
