Zamyšlení nad diskriminací žen u nás - existuje nebo ne? V naší společnosti stále existuje stereotyp představy dominantní úlohy muže v rodině. Ženě je především přiřazena role matky, která však navíc musí zvládat starost o domácnost i své zaměstnání. Profesní dráha ženy je obětována ve prospěch péče o děti. Přitom je možné, aby část těchto povinností přebral muž. Na druhou stranu pokud by se muž chtěl věnovat plně dětem, jeho zaměstnavatelé mu vstříc patrně nevyjdou. Zdá se tedy, že tedy u nás existuje diskriminace rodičovství.
Reflection of a discrimination against women in our country - does it really exist or not? In our society, there are still surviving stereotypical views of the masculine dominant role in the family. Woman is assigned the role of a mother who must handle both care of household as well as her job. Professional career of women is sacrificed in favor of the childcare. However, that part of the responsibilities can be taken up by a man. On the other hand, if the man wants to devote himself fully to children, most of the time he can't expect any easements from his employer. It is obvious that a form of discrimination of parenthood in the Czech Republic really exists.
Ženy v ofsajdu - ženy jsou v České republice znevýhodněny. Žije tu také ale mnoho konzervativních mužů a tradičně vychovaných žen, kteří diskriminaci odmítají brát na vědomí. Snad i proto jena tom Česká republika z hlediska boje s diskriminací žen v evropském srovnání nevalně.- Information:

K nejdůležitějším patří zejména faktory individuální a kontextuální, např. organizační a socioekonomické. Ovlivňují různé aspekty kariéry. Důsledky globálních změn doprovázejících přechod industriálního období k postindustrialismu a postmoderní společnosti měly podstatný vliv také na problematiku kariéry. Z těchto důvodů je zejména od 90. let minulého století věnována problematice kariéry a jejímu kontextu stále větší pozornost. Empirické údaje z posledních let, vztahující se k různým aspektům kariéry, vypovídají o významných změnách. Tradiční kariérní koncepce a přístupy byly v souladu s kontextem a požadavky industriálního období. Se současnou dobou přechodu k postindustrialismu a postmoderní společnosti jsou spíše v rozporu. I když dnešnímu kontextu kariéry odpovídají více současné přístupy ke kariéře, vycházející ze současných koncepcí kariéry, nazývaných také jako nová kariéra, jsou používány také tradiční přístupy ke kariéře. Aplikace obou koncepcí vypovídají o tranzitivnosti a variabilitě současnosti.- From traditional career to contemporary career conceptions
Career is influenced by many interconnected factors. Individual and contextual factors as organisational and socioeconomic belong to the most important factors. They influence various career aspects. Consequences of global chances accompanying the transition of industrial era to postindustrialism and postmodern society have been significantly impacted also on a career issue. Constantly growing attention has been given to the career issue and its context namely from 90´s of the 20th century. Empirical data relevant to various career aspects from the last couple of years report about significant changes. Traditional career concepts and approaches were in congruence with the context of industrial era and its requirements. With contemporary transition to postindustrialism are rather in conflict. Despite the fact that to the contemporary career context are more appropriate contemporary career approaches stemming from contemporary career concepts, named also as new career, also traditional career approaches are in use. V zahraniční literatuře o něm bylo již mnoho napsáno, u nás však výzkumy věnující se podrobněji motivům vedoucím k pozdnímu rodičovství chybí. Tuto mezeru se snažila alespoň z části vyplnit diplomová práce, z níž vychází tento článek. Cílem práce bylo formou kvalitativního výzkumu přiblížit motivy žen, které mají své první dítě po pětatřicátém roce věku. Hlavní metodou použitou v tomto výzkumu byl polostrukturovaný rozhovor s deseti ženami. V odborné literatuře je v souvislosti s pozdním rodičovstvím zmiňováno pět základních aspektů: psychologické, sociodemografické, duchovní, biologické, medicínské a ekonomické.
Výzkum neprokázal jednoznačnou dominanci jediného faktoru. U šesti žen je možné hovořit o faktorech medicínských s tím, že z toho u čtyř žen byly tyto faktory kombinovány s hledáním správného partnera a s kariérou. Svou roli hrály také faktory psychologické, většinou v kombinaci s jinými faktory. Z výzkumu vyplývají některé návrhy do praxe. Speciální program pro starší matky by se například měl zaměřit na posílení identity, sebevědomí a rozvoj osobnosti. Ženy by měly dostat také informace týkající se pracovněprávní problematiky. Důležitý je realistický pohled na mateřství a příklon ke zdravému životnímu stylu.- Later motherhood is a present phenomenon, and it’s usually connected with modern life style. There was already a lot of written about this theme in foreign literature. Unfortunately, the studies revealing the motives, which lead to later motherhood in more details, are missing in Czech Republic. This study tries partly to fill this gap, which this article comes from. The aim of it is to introduce the motives of the women who have their first child after their 35th years by qualitative research. The main method used in this research is the semi structured interview with ten women. In professional literature five basic aspects are mentioned in the connection with the later parenthood: psychological, social demographic, spiritual, biological, medical and economical.
The research didn’t prove definite domination of one factor. In six cases, we can talk about medical factors whereas in four cases, these factors were combined with looking for the right partner and with career. The psychological factors played also its role, mostly not separately but in combination with other factors. From the research some proposals result for the practice. The special program for these women, should focus on strengthening of identity, self-confidence and personal development. The women should receive information concerning law-work affairs.
