In the present study, the genus Arhaconotus is revised and keyed with three species of this genus from Vietnam were described and fully illustrated as new for science, viz.Arhaconotus belokobylskiji ...Long,sp. nov., A. hoabinhicus Long,sp. nov. and A. longicaudatus Long,sp. nov., and one species, A. hainanensis Tang & Chen, 2010 newly recorded for Vietnams braconid fauna. Up to know, a total of seven species of Arhaconotus are described, a key to all the already known Arhaconotus species is provided. Comparative morphological characters of Arhaconotus species were also discussed.
The genus Conicera Meigen from China is revised. 35 species are recorded, of which 19 are new to science: C. obtusifinis sp. nov., C. petalina sp. nov., C. maculifemoris sp. nov., C. forcipis sp. ...nov., C. ancoraria sp. nov., C. angusta sp. nov., C. tortuosa sp. nov., C. dentisparsa sp. nov., C. convallis sp. nov., C. chayuensis sp. nov., C. triangularis sp. nov., C. margiflucta sp. nov., C. securiclata sp. nov., C. palmata sp. nov., C. marginata sp. nov., C. denticulata sp. nov., C. microspinulosa sp. nov., C. grandicaudata sp. nov. and C. obtusidentis sp. nov. 5 species are recorded for the first time in China: C. gracilis Michailovskaya, C. pacifica Michailovskaya, C. similis (Haliday), C. tibialis Schmitz and C. schnittmanni Schmitz. All known species are redescribed and illustrated. A key to species from China is presented.
Two specimens of the rare Amarsipa fish, Amarsipus carlsbergi, were collected from Pratas Island in the northern South China Sea. They represent the first record of Taiwanese EEZ and fill the ...distribution gap in the northwestern Pacific Ocean between Japan (East China Sea) and Vietnam. The two specimens were identified based on their diagnostic characteristics, including no pharyngeal sacs, a pelvic fin well in front of the pectoral fin, a slender body and other morphology. Detailed data and descriptions of these two specimens, including a description of otolith morphology, are provided.
Three species of the genus Frisilia Walker, 1864 are described as new: Frisilia basistricta sp. nov., F. motuoensis sp. nov. and F. trisigna sp. nov.; F. sulcata is newly recorded in China. Field studies were conducted between September 2020 and June 2022 to assess the gall wasp (Hymenoptera: Cynipidae) fauna of Burdur province (Southwestern Türkiye). A total of 69 species in 18 genera ...were recorded. Gall samples were collected from 150 samples collected in 100 different localities in the surveyed area. The identified species include three new records (Andricus melikai Pujade-Villar & Kwast, 2002; A. pseudocecconii Melika, Tavakoli & Stone, 2022; Saphonecrus undulatus (Мауr, 1872)) for the Turkish cynipid fauna. As a result of this study, 44 species of the current Turkish cynipid fauna were recorded from Burdur province for the first time. A checklist of the species and their host plants and/or host galls recorded in the study area is provided. The gall wasp richness and geomorphic-topographic structure of Burdur province is discussed.

Compsothrips tenebronus is here considered a new synonym of C. sinensis, and C. timur is newly recorded from China in Tibet. Furthermore, C. reticulates is redescribed, with details of the female given for the first time. An illustrated key is provided to the three species of Compsothrips from China.

Olethreutini fauna in Thailand consists of 171 species belonging to 57 genera. This checklist is based on literature in which Olethreutini species have been described or recorded and identified ...specimens that were deposited in Kasetsart Kamphaengsaen Insect Collection (KKIC), Thailand. Of those, 36 species still were reported only in Thailand. Five genera (Lipsotelus, Meiligma, Metrioglypha, Prophaecasia, and Psilacantha) are new records for Thailand. Furthermore, 29 species are also recorded from Thailand for the first time.
Two dendrochirotid holothuroids, here identified as Afrocucumis africana, were collected from Gariyan Beach, Jiwani Makran Coast, Balochistan, for morphological and taxonomic study. This species is a ...new record of a dendrochirotid holothuroid from the Pakistani coastal waters. Identification was confirmed through morphology and microscopic observations of the ossicles. Identified specimens are deposited in Marine Reference Collection and Resource Centre, University of Karachi.
