Abstract When we speak about the concept of “permanent education”, our attention focuses on comprehensive and broad approaches to the instructive-educational process that go beyond, or, at least, ...should go beyond what we call or we mean by the traditional boundaries of school and formal education. In fact, the lifelong education constitutes sine qua non a continuing process of learning and development throughout life, a process that takes place in various contexts and at different stages of our lifetime. In this context, we can state that the permanent education must be in agreement with everything that means, on the one hand, the educational market, and on the other hand, the economic market corroborated with the idea of the labor market. We believe that such an assumption is justified by the very demands and new orientations of the labor market as well as by the need of the human being to continuously develop himself in relation to himself and also to everything that is around him. Such a reform of the educational society (Comenius) and of the human being (Dewey), in relation to what the continuous development entails, only brings into discussion a series of ideas such as the continuous learning, the (self) exploration, the personal development and so on.Therefore, the analysis of this paper will focus on the one hand, on the paradigmatic approach to the concept of “permanent education” (from a diachronic and synchronic viewpoint), and on the other hand, on the analysis of specific features of some paradigms related thereof. Thus, we will try to show that its benefits and impact may vary according to individual context and needs.

Abstract The matrix support (AM) has two dimensions: assistance and technical-pedagogical. This interest of this review is the Technical-Pedagogical Character (CTP) of AM, because of its potential to transform health practices and work organization. Through an exploratory bibliographic review, this study aims to analyze how the CTP of AM has been approached in the literature. It starts from the hypothesis that just as this dimension has not been much operated in daily life, it has also been little detailed in the literature. A broad search of the term "matrix support" was carried out in the Virtual Health Library and the studies that addressed the CTP were identified. The 65 articles on the subject composed the corpus submitted to thematic analysis. Four major axes have been identified: conceptual aspect of matrix support; teaching and learning processes in the CTP; operationalization of the technical-pedagogical character; effects of the technical-pedagogical character. The findings confirmed the hypothesis that, although CTP is a fundamental AM’s concept and practice, there is a few productions about this subject. There is a predominance of references in which CTP appears as a constituent aspect of AM, without further explanations of its nature, specificities, and operationalization.

In recent years, the educational landscape has been in a period of constant change due to the advent of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). As a result, training in digital competence ...has become one of the challenges to be met by the teaching staff, in order to incorporate these skills into their professional practice. As a result of this, the present work aimed to analyse the level of digital competence presented by a sample of 140 teachers of the Lifelong Learning stage in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia (Spain). To this end, a transversal methodological design of a quantitative nature was advocated, based on the configuration of an ad hoc questionnaire developed from the European conceptual frameworks on teaching digital competence. The results showed that the level shown by teachers is low, especially in terms of creation, information literacy and problem solving, although they did show optimal skills in communication and collaboration of digital content. The findings also determined the importance of factors such as age, teacher training and school type in further developing this compendium of skills.

This article is placed in the line of research on the teaching of poetry. Based on a permanent education experience conceived as a Teachers as Readers Group, this qualitative study is aimed at ...observing the possible incidence of this formative instance in the evaluation that secondary education teachers make of poetic works, as well as in the didactic proposals they develop about them. This is done through the analysis of the self-confrontation writings of seven teachers who reflect on their own comments on texts and their didactic proposals about a poetry picturebook, as well as data from interviews. The results report a positive incidence in aspects such as the consideration of the reader or the importance of socialization between readers as a pivotal part of literary education. Finally, this paper discusses the need to move towards the construction of professional learning communities that open a path to development for the constraints that affect teachers in the field of teaching poetry in the classroom.
