Purpose: to establish the relationship of physical and technical preparedness to achieve sports results of 400 m hurdlers at the stage of preliminary base preparation. Material & Methods: study ...involved the first grade athletes in the amount of 18 people. Methods of research: pedagogical observation, pedagogical experiment, pedagogical testing of physical and technical readiness, telepodometry, methods of mathematical statistics. Results: it found that the major indicators of special physical readiness in the step of preliminary base preparation are: run at 100 m. result which was 96.4% from the model; run at 200 m – 96,0% from the model; run at 400 m – 98,7% from the model; hopping run 100 m – 93,4% and jumps 20 m on one leg – 91,1% % from the model. Conclusion: study of individual elements technique allows us to characterize not only the technique of movements, but also the level of physical qualities.
Purpose: to reveal the effect of special physical preparedness of athletes on the biomechanical characteristics of the performance of the kick-step component of the main course in acrobatic ...rock'n'roll. Material & Methods: following research methods were used: theoretical analysis and generalization of data from special scientific and methodological literature; pedagogical observation; biomechanical computer analysis; video of the final of the category Juvenile of the Ukrainian championship (2017) from acrobatic rock'n'roll. Results: a biomechanical analysis of the performance of the kick-step component of the main course; the amplitude of the performance of the kick-step component of the main move of the Juvenile category in acrobatic rock'n'roll. Conclusion: the level of special physical preparedness of the Juvenile category athletes is determined; based on the biomechanical analysis of the performance of kick-step athletes in the main course, changes in the angle of the knee and hip joints of the legs at the beginning, middle and end of the competition program.
The level of physical readiness of officers of different age is construed. According to tests of the national charter on physical preparation 564 officers have been inspected. In addition with 395 ...officers the conducted army test of physical fitness was. Age decrease of parameters of physical readiness is exhibited. The authentic falling of a level of a velocity and force (in the age of 30-35 years), common endurance and a level of common physical readiness (in the age of 40-45 years) is established. Among major factors of influence on a level of physical readiness of officers are: age, a stress, presence of harmful habits (smoking), surplus weight of a body.
Objectives
In addition to being a serious health-hazard, substance-use-and-misuse (SUM) in military forces negatively influences physical fitness and army readiness. The aim of this study was to ...define the prevalence of SUM, which includes cigarette smoking, alcohol consumption, and multiple SUM (i.e. practice of daily smoking and harmful alcohol drinking), and factors influencing SUM in the Croatian Special Army Forces (SAF).
Materials and Methods
We studied 73 SAF members. A self-administered validated questionnaire was used to gather socio-demographic and military-profession-related data, and SUM factors. The associations between studied variables were established by the Chi2 test, and forward conditional logistic regression (FCLR).
Results
With less than 40% of daily smokers, smoking was within expected values. Almost 80% of the examinees reported no binge drinking, while 54% reported harmful drinking according to the Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test scale. Paternity and education level were negatively associated with daily smoking, while higher incidence of daily smoking was found for privates and those who practiced harmful drinking (all at p < 0.05). The FCLR demonstrated a higher risk of harmful alcohol consumption for younger commissioned officers (OR for military rank = 5.54, 95% CI: 2.19–13.99; OR for age = 0.85, 95% CI: 0.76–0.95).
Conclusion
Although SUM incidence was not alarming compared to the overall population and the previously reported military data, additional efforts are necessary in order to decrease cigarette consumption. The study showed that protective/risk structure of the substance misuse in the military should be investigated specifically with regard to particular military services, corps, and socio-cultural environment.
Aspects of perfection of process of physical training of students of higher educational institutions are considered. Modern features of the organization of physical-improving employment in the course ...of physical training with students with priority use of various kinds of single combats are analysed. It is proved the efficiency applications elements single combats for increase of physical readiness of student's youth
Aim of research - to determine state and open up ways of perfection of students' physical preparation. In article questions of improvement of physical education of students high educational ...establishing are considered. It is carried out the analysis of level of physical readiness of students high educational establishing. In research has accepted 727 students of three educational establishing, the estimation of their physical readiness is given. It is defined low level of readiness in force indicators, endurance, and also speed and power qualities. Are described the coefficient of variation and level probability of results in indicators of dexterity, force - in the young man, and the dynamic force index, dexterity, high-speed endurance in the young woman. It is established insufficient level of physical readiness of students.
The current state of health and physical fitness of young people, the complex of issues regarding the development of sports and mass swimming in Ukraine, in particular regarding training the ability ...to swim of the population and its conscripts have been analyzed. The role and place of swimming in the system of physical education of students and the compliance with the foundations of healthy lifestyle have been defined. The methodical peculiarities of swimming lessons with the students of higher educational institutions and their influence on physical abilities and capacities of human body are being studied. The results of studies for determination of the dynamics of physical abilities and physical fitness of students aged 18 and 19 years necessary for effective actions in terms of the average high school, taking into account means of physical training in swimming, have been presented.
Purpose: Analysis of physical readiness dynamics at students of faculties (medical, pediatrics, prophylactic medicine) taking into account constitutsional and typological features. Materials and ...methods: 480 students 3 courses (125 young men and 355 girls) at the age of 18-25 years, having different levelof physical rea diness are surveyed. The complex of tests which included the following exercises defining degree of development of the basic physical qualities was applied to an estimation of physical readiness of students. Results: According to dynamics of physical readiness on all impellent qualities certain law is looked through. The physical in general condition of students improves from the first course to the second the both at young men, and at girls. In the third term of the second year some decrease in results of physical readiness in a number of tests was observed. Summary: Principle of organic communication of physical training with practice of labour activity is most particularly embodied in is professional-applied physical preparation/ Considering somatotype the individual, it is possible to correct and develop necessary impellent qualities taking into account the future professional orientation.
Background: The Military Fitness Training Leader (MFTL) is considered a parameter that affects the efficiency of the Hellenic Army Physical Readiness Training (APRT).
Purpose: The competencies of 5 ...different types of Greek MFTLs were assessed and compared according to the opinions of the Regular Army Personnel.
Material and Methods: ANOVA corrected by post hoc comparisons were used to compare the selected opinions coming from 2864 survey questionnaires. The statistical significance was indicated up to 0.05 to compare the differences for all 5 types MFTLs graded by 3 different groups: Senior Officers, Junior Officers, and Non- Commissioned Officers/Permanent Enlisted Soldiers.
Results: The Senior Officers scored the "Officer" as the best MFTL and the "Physical Education Graduate" as the highest contributors to the APRT's effectiveness. Junior Officers and Non-Commissioned Officers/Permanent Enlisted Soldiers scored the "Physical Education Graduate" as being more useful as MFTL, although being seldom applied to APRT programs. The Officers' military experience and leadership specialisation combined with the Physical Education Graduate's professionalisation has been revealed as the main characteristics of an effective profile for a MFTL.
Conclusion: The results, reinforced by similar research in the field, indicate that the Hellenic army should focus on creating professional standards to achieve a more efficient MFTL training program.
