"This dissertation examines the relationship between collage – experiences of difference – artists. It explores the (art) history of collage as well as the perspective on collage as an artistic, ...methodological, epistemological and biographical principle. Likewise, the thesis that experiences of difference materialize artistically as well as biographically and can be found in textual and pictorial material will be pursued – with a focus on subjectification theory. Experiences of difference are understood in this research as reflections of experiences of discrimination and of othering (processes of being made into supposed others). The present research on subjectification – which centers on the life and work of Hannah Höch (1889-1978) – is carried out, on the one hand, on the basis of a discourse-analytical examination of biographical text documents of the artist; on the other hand, this very text analysis is related to an image analysis of the höch collage “Lebensbild” from 1972/1973. The pictorial and textual material will be interrogated for the (de-)thematization of the four categories of difference: gender, class, body/disability, race as well as their intersectional entanglement. In a micro-linguistic fine analysis, the linguistic (re-)production of possible experiences of difference will be examined on the basis of the three analysis heuristics: invocation, self-statements, biographical experiences. Embedded in and engaging with contemporary discourses of art and special education, this work aims to transform research findings on experiences of difference/collage/artists for those same disciplines. The perspective of Hannah Höch as an artist has so far been a research desideratum with a deeper focus on the analysis of body/disability and gender; the present study addresses this very issue and thus also shows transdisciplinary connectivity to Gender and Disability Studies."
"Die vorliegende Dissertation untersucht das Verhältnis Collage – Differenzerfahrungen – Künstler:Innen. Dabei wird die (Kunst-)Geschichte der Collage sowie die Perspektive auf Collage als künstlerisches, methodisches, epistemologisches und biographisches Prinzip erforscht. Ebenso wird – unter subjektivierungstheoretischem Fokus – der These nachgegangen, dass sich Differenzerfahrungen künstlerisch wie biographisch materialisieren und sich in Text- und Bildmaterial auffinden lassen. Differenzerfahrungen werden in dieser Forschungsarbeit verstanden als Reflexionen von Diskriminierungserfahrungen und von Othering/Veranderung (Prozessen des Gemacht-Werdens zu vermeintlich Anderen). Die vorliegende Subjektivierungsforschung – in deren Zentrum Leben und Werk Hannah Höchs (1889-1978) stehen – vollzieht sich zum einen anhand einer diskursanalytischen Untersuchung biographischer Textdokumente der Künstlerin; zum anderen wird ebendiese Textanalyse mit einer Bildanalyse der höch’schen Collage „Lebensbild“ aus dem Jahr 1972/1973 in Bezug gesetzt. Das Bild- und Textmaterial wird auf die (De-)Thematisierung der vier Differenzkategorien Geschlecht, Klasse, Körper/Behinderung, Herkunft/race sowie deren intersektionaler Verschränkung befragt und in einer mikrosprachlichen Feinanalyse anhand der drei Analyseheuristiken Anrufung, Selbstaussagen, biographische Erfahrungen auf die sprachliche (Re-)Produktion möglicher Differenz(-Erfahrungen) untersucht. Eingebettet in und in Auseinandersetzung mit zeitgenössischen Diskursen von Kunst- und Sonderpädagogik verfolgt diese Arbeit das Ziel, Forschungsergebnisse zu Differenzerfahrungen/ Collage/Künstler:Innen für ebenjene Disziplinen zu transformieren. Die Perspektivierung der Künstlerin Hannah Höch stellte unter dem vertieften Analysefokus von Körper/Behinderung und Geschlecht bislang ein Forschungsdesiderat dar; die vorliegende Untersuchung bespielt ebendieses und zeigt sich hierdurch zusätzlich transdisziplinär anschlussfähig an die Gender und Disability Studies."
The realization of inclusion in schools makes a significant contribution to the development towards an inclusive society (cf. Lütje-Klose et al. 2018a, p. 9), as social practices are not only ...reproduced in schools, but also newly produced. These practices are carried on in extra- and postschool fields of action (cf. Sturm 2018b, p. 251; Powell 2016, p. 681; Budde 2012, p. 530ff.). Although the introduction of inclusion confronts the entire multi-level system of schools with the task of critically questioning existing structures, concepts, and practices and working on them in an inclusion-oriented manner (cf. Lindmeier & Lütje-Klose 2019, p. 590), the requirements in the field of action of teachers are becoming more complex. Teachers are not only responsible on the meso and micro level of the school system, but also interactively involved in the (re)production of social practices in the school practice (cf. Sturm 2018, p. 254ff.). It is up to teacher education to prepare student teachers to accept the challenge of school inclusion and to adapt traditional educational structures and contents in an inclusion-oriented way. The dissertation aims at reconstructing the knowledge that students of different teacher training programs have about inclusion-related subjunctive experiences during their studies. For this purpose, group discussions with students of special education and secondary school teaching are analyzed using the documentary method. The reconstructions provide information about how the participating student teachers anticipate and cope with inclusion as a challenge of school practice. Based on the findings, implications for the (re)orientation of educational structures and contents of teacher education are finally presented for discussion.
Die Realisierung schulischer Inklusion leistet einen wesentlichen Beitrag für die Entwicklung zu einer inklusiven Gesellschaft (vgl. Lütje-Klose et al. 2018a, S. 9), da in Schule nicht nur soziale Praktiken reproduziert, sondern auch neu hervorgebracht werden. Diese Praktiken werden in außer- und nachschulischen Handlungsfeldern weitergetragen (vgl. Sturm 2018, S. 251; Powell 2016, S. 681; Budde 2012, S. 530ff.). Zwar wird durch die Einführung von Inklusion das gesamte Mehrebenensystem Schule damit konfrontiert, bestehende Strukturen, Konzepte sowie Praktiken kritisch zu hinterfragen und inklusionsorientiert zu bearbeiten (vgl. Lindmeier & Lütje-Klose 2019, S. 590), doch findet sich eine Komplexitätsverdichtung der Anforderungen in dem Handlungsfeld von Lehrkräften. Sie sind nicht nur zugleich Verantwortungsträger*innen auf der Meso- und auf der Mikroebene des Systems Schule, sondern auch interaktiv an der (Re-)produktion sozialer Praktiken in der schulischen Handlungspraxis beteiligt (vgl. Sturm 2018, S. 254ff.). Der Lehrer*innenbildung obliegt es, Lehramtsstudierende auf die Annahme der Herausforderung schulischer Inklusion vorzubereiten und tradierte Ausbildungsstrukturen sowie -inhalte inklusionsorientiert zu adaptieren. In der Dissertation wird hier angesetzt und rekonstruiert, über welches inklusionsbezogene konjunktive Erfahrungswissen Studierende verschiedener Lehramtsstudiengänge im Verlauf des Studiums verfügen. Dazu werden Gruppendiskussionen mit Studierenden des Lehramts für Sonderpädagogik und des Lehramts an Gymnasien unter Anwendung der dokumentarischen Methode ausgewertet. Die erstellten Rekonstruktionen geben Aufschluss darüber, wie die teilnehmenden Lehramtsstudierenden Inklusion als Herausforderung der schulischen Handlungspraxis antizipieren sowie bewältigen. Auf den gewonnenen Erkenntnissen aufbauend werden abschließend Implikationen für die (Neu-)Ausrichtung von Ausbildungsstrukturen und -inhalten der Lehrer*innenbildung zur Diskussion gestellt.
The assumption social studies and science in primary education to be a key-component in realizing inclusive teaching in primary classrooms for all children but especially for children with emotional ...and behavioral difficulties in special needs education is fundamental to this work. Nevertheless, there is nearly no research-based evidence on how potentials for inclusion and social learning are used in primary schools or special schools nor is there research on how teaching is planned, realized, and accounted for. This desiderate is addressed in this work. By analyzing and thereby linking the discourses in social studies and science in primary education and special education for children with emotional and behavioral difficulties, principles for education and teaching in both domains are summarized. This is the theoretical foundation of a mixed- methods-study with a two-step-design to explore the teaching practices and teachers’ beliefs of teachers in inclusive primary schools and special schools for children with emotional and behavioral difficulties in North Rhine-Westfalia, Germany. The study is composed of a partly standardized questionnaire survey (n= 80) followed by qualitive interviews with teachers as experts (n = 10). Data is consequently triangulated to explore the structure of teaching practices and possible determinants concerning the teachers, framework conditions and the learning groups. The results indicate that life-world-oriented education, disturbed student-teacher-interactions and professional lesson planning between child, method and teaching materials are important issues for the development of inclusive teaching in social studies and science in primary education. Consequently, the study outlines future fields of research and development derived from an explorative view at teaching practices in inclusive and separative education settings.
Ausgangspunkt bildet die Annahme, dass der Sachunterricht, als Kernfach der Primarstufe über seinen Allgemeinbildungsanspruch, der eine vielperspektivische und an der Lebenswelt der Kinder orientierte Sacherschließung beinhaltet, ein besonderes Potenzial sowohl für ein Lernen in inklusiven Lerngruppen wie spezifisch für Schülerinnen und Schüler mit sonderpädagogischem Förderbedarf im Bereich der sozial-emotionalen Entwicklung besitzt. Wie diese Potenziale in der Praxis genutzt werden bzw. wie sich eine diesbezügliche Praxis im Gemeinsamen Unterricht der Grundschule bzw. Förderschule überhaupt gestaltet, stellt jedoch ein umfassendes Desiderat dar, dem sich die vorliegende Arbeit widmet. Als analytische Referenzpunkte werden die bisher weitgehend unverbundenen Bezugsdiskurse der Sachunterrichtsdidaktik sowie der Sonderpädagogik im Förderschwerpunkt emotionale und soziale Entwicklung hinsichtlich ihrer zentralen pädagogisch-didaktischen Leitprinzipien befragt und in Beziehung zueinander gesetzt. Die geschaffene theoretisch-konzeptionelle Grundlagen bildet den Rahmen für eine zweiphasige Mixed-Methods-Studie zur Unterrichtspraxis sowie handlungsleitenden Motiven von Lehrkräften im Gemeinsamen Unterricht sowie an Förderschulen mit dem Förderschwerpunkt emotionale und soziale Entwicklung in Nordrhein- Westfalen. Die Erhebung setzt sich aus einer teilstandardisierte Fragenbogenerhebung (n = 80) sowie nachgelagerten qualitative Experteninterviews (n = 10) zusammen, deren Ergebnisse über eine konsequente Triangulationsstrategie aufeinander bezogen werden, um die sachunterrichtliche Angebotsstruktur sowie damit verknüpfte Einflussfaktoren auf Ebene der Lehrkräfte, der Rahmenbedingungen sowie der Lerngruppen im Vergleich der beiden Beschulungssettings zu explorieren. Die Ergebnisse werfen dabei bedeutsame Frage für die konzeptionelle Weiterentwicklung einer inklusiven Sachunterrichtsdidaktik im Kontext von Lebensweltorientierung, gestörten Lehr-Lern-Interaktionen sowie professionellem Planungshandeln zwischen Kind, Methode und Material auf. Die Untersuchung umreißt hierzu gemäß ihrem explorativen Charakter mögliche zukünftige Entwicklungsfelder.
The implementation of inclusive schools requires a corresponding professionalization of teachers. In addition to inclusion-related knowledge, the students’ school and education-related orientations ...constitute important factors for the teacher acting (Helsper 2018). This dissertation is a qualitative-reconstructive study in the context of research on inclusive teacher education. The study analyses the students’ orientations regarding inclusion, exclusion and difference from a praxeological perspective on professionalism (Bohnsack 2020). The study is situated at the interface of educational science and special education. Students of special education, secondary schools and vocational schools were consulted. These students participated in a university seminar about disability, which was affiliated to the project „Qualitätsoffensive Lehrerbildung“. During the course of the seminar, the students dealt with the pupils’ statements concerning collaborative learning and feelings of belonging and exclusion. As its starting point the study focuses on the observation that pupils’ perspectives are only marginally represented in discussions about inclusion. The study addresses the question, if and to what extent the students refer to the pupils’ statements in their discussions about inclusion, exclusion and difference. Using the documentary method, four group discussions are analysed and interpreted at two points in time concentrating on implicit knowledge. The results are theoretically classified using a praxeological perspective on professionalism as well as an interactive and situational understanding of difference. Therefore, the findings provide information on which difference-related norms become effective and guide action, and whether the students define themselves from these norms (Bonnet/Hericks 2019). It becomes obvious that the students’ orientations are largely characterized by a homogeneity illusion of school and teaching. With the claim of realising inclusive education, tensions such as the reproduction and deconstruction of differences come to light in particular ways that are seemingly difficult for the students to endure. The study aims to focus attention on both the students’ and the pupils’ perspectives in order to generate insights into the relationship of these perspectives. The central result is that the students hardly recognise the pupils’ voices as independent positions in the discussions about inclusion. Instead, they use them as a starting point for shaping their own prospective position as a teacher.
Die Umsetzung eines inklusiven Schulsystems erfordert eine entsprechende Professionalisierung von Lehrpersonen. Neben der Vermittlung inklusionsbezogenen Wissens stellen die schul- und bildungsbezogenen Orientierungen bedeutsame Faktoren für das Handeln von Lehrpersonen dar (Helsper 2018). Bei der vorliegenden Dissertation handelt es sich um eine qualitativ-rekonstruktive Studie zur Forschung universitärer inklusionsorientierter Lehrer*innenbildung, in der die studentischen Orientierungen bezüglich Inklusion, Exklusion und Differenzen unter einer praxeologischen Perspektive auf Professionalität beleuchtet werden (Bohnsack 2020). Die Untersuchung befindet sich an der Schnittstelle von Erziehungswissenschaft und Sonderpädagogik. Befragt wurden Studierende der Sonderpädagogik, des gymnasialen Lehramts und des Lehramts für berufsbildende Schulen, die an einer im Rahmen der „Qualitätsoffensive Lehrerbildung“ konzipierten kasuistischen Seminarveranstaltung zum Thema „Behinderung/Benachteiligung“ teilnahmen, in der sie sich mit Schüler*innenaussagen auseinandersetzten. Im Sprechen über Inklusion ist auffällig, dass die Sichtweisen der Schüler*innen selbst nur marginal repräsentiert sind. Die Studie nimmt dieses Desiderat zum Ausgangspunkt der für die Lehrer*innenbildung zentralen Frage, inwiefern sich in den studentischen Orientierungen Hinweise auf etwaige Bezugnahmen zu den Perspektiven von Schüler*innen erkennen lassen. Mit Hilfe der Dokumentarischen Methode werden vier Gruppen zu zwei Erhebungszeitpunkten mit dem Fokus auf der Rekonstruktion impliziter Wissensbestände ausgewertet. Die Ergebnisse werden unter Rückgriff auf eine praxeologische Perspektive auf Professionalität sowie einem interaktiven und situativen Differenzverständnis theoretisch eingeordnet und geben Auskunft darüber, welche differenzbezogenen Normen wie handlungsleitend wirksam werden bzw. von welchen sich die Studierenden abgrenzen (Bonnet/Hericks 2019). Die studentischen Orientierungen zeichnen sich größtenteils durch eine Homogenitätsillusion von Schule und Unterricht aus. Mit dem Anspruch inklusiver Bildung treten Spannungsverhältnisse wie die Reproduktion und Dekonstruktion von Differenzen in besonderer Art und Weise zum Vorschein, die für die untersuchten Studierenden scheinbar schwer auszuhalten sind. Die Studie verfolgt das Anliegen, sowohl den Adressat*innenkreis der Studierenden als auch den der Schüler*innen in den Mittelpunkt der Aufmerksamkeit zu rücken, um Erkenntnisse über das Verhältnis studentischer schul- und bildungsbezogener Orientierungen und den Perspektiven der Schüler*innen zu generieren. Zentrales Ergebnis ist, dass die Studierenden die Stimmen der Schüler*innen weniger als eigenständige Positionen in den Diskussionen um Inklusion und Differenzen wahrnehmen, sondern sie vielmehr als Ausgangspunkt für die Gestaltung der eigenen angehenden Position in der Schule oder für schulorganisatorische und unterrichtspraktische Überlegungen nutzen.
The present study focuses on the question of how the discipline of special education producesknowledge on the subject of ADHD and thereby creates a specific reality of the phenomenon. Due to the ...observation that in schools the label ADHD is used as ‘catch-all-typology’ and a generalisation for abnormal behaviours, it is questioned how ADHD is constructed as a categoryof ‘not_normal’ behaviour within special educational literature. Therefore, an understanding of disability that is inspired by a cultural studies perspective will be applied to the production of knowledge in the field of special education. The goal is to identify institutionalised processes of exclusion and to highlight the necessity of a modified conceptualization of the ‘not_normal’. Transferring perspectives of dis_ability studies to the field of special education, the analysis can be placed within the context of dis_ability studies in education. This supports a differencetheoretical inspired and theoretically founded, empirical research on the subject of inclusion. The body of investigation includes 74 articles published in special education journals and handbooks between 2000 and 2015. The articles have been examined by a critical perspective on power relations and the construction of normality with a discourse analytical concept. As a result, not only the discursive construction of the subject ADHD can be reconstructed. Moreover, it can be shown, how in the discourse of special education ‘normal’ behaviour is differentiated from ‘not_normal’ behaviour, how the students being marked as ‘not_normal’ are requested to re-integrate into the normal zone and which invocations follow this discussion. The findings demonstrate, that the construction of the ‘not_normal’ in the discourse of special education secures prevailing norms in school and that this is accompanied by individualistic attributions and constraints.
Im Zentrum dieser Arbeit steht die Frage, wie die Disziplin der (Sonder-)Pädagogik1 Wissen zum Gegenstand ADHS produziert und damit eine spezifische Wirklichkeit des Phänomens hervorbringt. Aufgrund der Beobachtung, dass das Label ADHS im schulischen Kontext eine Generalisierung ‚nicht_normaler‘ Verhaltensweisen darstellt, wird untersucht, wie das Phänomen ADHS auf der Ebene (sonder-)pädagogischer Wissensbestände als eine Kategorie ‚nicht_ normalen‘ Verhaltens konstruiert wird. Dazu wird einem kulturwissenschaftlich inspirierten Verständnis von Behinderung gefolgt, das auf Konstruktionsprozesse des (sonder-)pädagogischen Feldes übertragen wird. Dies hat zum Ziel, institutionalisierte Ausgrenzungsprozesse zu erfassen und die Notwendigkeit einer veränderten Konzeptualisierung des ‚Nicht_Normalen‘ herauszustellen. Durch den Transfer der Perspektiven der Dis_ability Studies auf die (sonder-) pädagogische Wissensproduktion kann ein Beitrag zum Ansatz der Dis_ability Studies in Education geliefert werden, der eine differenztheoretisch inspirierte und theoretisch fundierte, empirische Inklusionsforschung unterstützt. Gegenstand des empirischen Teils dieser Arbeit ist ein Korpus von 74 wissenschaftlichen Artikeln, das sich aus 49 (sonder-)pädagogischen Fachzeitschriften- und 25 Handbuchartikeln zusammensetzt, die zwischen 2000 und 2015 erschienen sind. Untersucht werden diese mit einer normalismus- und machtkritischen Perspektive durch ein diskurstheoretisches Konzept. Dadurch wird es nicht nur möglich, die diskursive Konstruktion des Gegenstands ADHS zu rekonstruieren. Vielmehr noch wird nachgezeichnet, wie im (sonder-)pädagogischen Interdiskurs die Grenze zwischen ‚normalen‘ und ‚nicht_normalen‘ Verhaltensweisen gezogen wird, welche Angebote die als ‚nicht_normal‘ markierten Schüler_innen zur Reintegration in die Normalzone erhalten und mit welchen Adressierungen diese Beschäftigung einhergeht. Durch die auf den einzelnen Analyseebenen identifizierten Befunde wird deutlich, dass die Konstruktion des ‚Nicht_Normalen‘ im (sonder-)pädagogischen Fachdiskurs die im schulischen Kontext bestehende Normalität schützt und dass sich diese Schutzfunktion durch individualistische Zuschreibungen und Zwänge auszeichnet.
Lehrkräfte sind wesentliche Verantwortungsträger*innen für die Realisierung schulischer Inklusion. Der Lehrkräftebildung obliegt es, Studierende aller Lehramtsstudiengänge auf die Annahme der ...Herausforderung schulischer Inklusion vorzubereiten und Ausbildungsstrukturen sowie -inhalte inklusionsorientiert zu adaptieren. Die vorliegende Studie leistet hierzu einen Beitrag, indem sie aus Gruppendiskussionen mit Studierenden des sonderpädagogischen und des gymnasialen Lehramts rekonstruiert, wie diese Inklusion als Herausforderung der schulischen Handlungspraxis im Verlauf ihres Studiums antizipieren und bearbeiten. Der Sammelband bringt interdisziplinär theoretische und empirische Erkenntnisse zu DisAbility und Migration in Bildungskontexten sowie Analysen der Intersektionalität von Behinderung, Migration und ...Religion in Bildung und Gesellschaft zusammen. Er sucht nach Vernetzungen der Anliegen der Migrationspädagogik, Disability-Studies und Religionspädagogik. Dabei werden Theoretisierungen über Zugehörigkeitsnarrative der Migrationsgesellschaft sowie Partizipationsmöglichkeiten in medizinisch-therapeutischen und pädagogischen Handlungsfeldern vollzogen. Zudem wird nach notwendigen Kompetenzen pädagogisch Handelnder gefragt. Was sind handlungsleitende ...Motive? Lassen sich Unterschiede zwischen den Schulformen feststellen? Diesen Fragen geht eine zweiphasige Lehrkräftebefragung nach, die mittels Fragebogenerhebung (n = 80) und Experteninterviews (n = 10), Praktiken, didaktische Überzeugungen sowie Kontextfaktoren des Sachunterrichts an nordrhein-westfälischen Grund- und Förderschulen exploriert. Im Ergebnis tritt die Bedeutung störfaktorieller Aspekte sowie sozialer Dimensionen im Unterricht hervor. Didaktische Postulate nach Öffnung treffen auf ein leitendes Motiv der Strukturierung, sodass das Methodische Vorrang genießt. Lebensweltorientierung bedarf der Reflexion sozialer Problemlagen. Since the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UN-CRPD), inclusive education is a recurring topic in international and national discourse. Nevertheless, implementation is ...interpreted and realized differently at national and regional level. Legally, Spain already shifted its focus from segregated to integrative and finally to inclusive education long before the UN-CRPD and has one of the lowest segregation ratios of students with „special educational needs“ in Europe. Therefore, Spain is the primary focus of this study, which makes a contribution to international research on inclusion.Due to the qualitative multi-level approach of this study, the subject of research, the consideration of „special educational needs“ within the Spanish school system, can be analyzed at different levels and examined in some secondary schools in Andalusia on a regional basis. Therefore, the aim is to answer the question, which role disability plays in the context of the concept of diver-sity to guarantee inclusive education and equal opportunities. The analysis of the institutional change of „special educational needs“ since the democratization of the country on the national level is the basis of the study in order to derive this term historically, whose path-dependent development points to a high institutional stability both with regard to segregated forms of schooling and to the categorization of students. At the same time, the investigation at school level shows that asymmetrical control in combination with a high degree institutionalization of segregated structures leads to the reproduction of the legally established considerations of diversity of students in schools – although on the basis of diverging difference categories.
Welche Qualität hat das, was als schulische Integration bezeichnet wurde und inzwischen als schulische Inklusion bezeichnet wird? Wie sind inklusive Schulen organisiert? Wie arbeitet das Personal in ...diesen Schulen zusammen? Wie wird der gemeinsame Unterricht in diesen Schulen gestaltet? Welche Qualitätsbausteine spielen im Zusammenhang mit der Weiterentwicklung inklusiver Bildung eine wichtige Rolle? Um diese Fragen zu beantworten werden im Rahmen einer theoretischen Einbettung zunächst geschichtliche Aspekte schulischer Integration sowie unterschiedliche Perspektiven der Soziologie, Pädagogik und Sonderpädagogik auf die Begriffe Exklusion und Inklusion analysiert. Es folgt ein umfassender Überblick zum Forschungsstand für die Bereiche Organisations-, Personal- und Unterrichtsentwicklung an (inklusiven) Schulen. Am Beispiel des Saarlandes wird anhand einer qualitativen und einer quantitativen Studie untersucht, wie unterschiedliche Beteiligte – Schülerinnen und Schüler, Eltern, Regel- und Förderschullehrkräfte sowie Schulleitungen – die Qualität schulischer Integration wahrnehmen und einschätzen. In Form einer Zusammenschau aller Ergebnisse werden Schlussfolgerungen und Perspektiven für das deutsche Bildungssystem aufgezeigt. Hinsichtlich der in Schulen notwendigen Transformation wird deutlich, dass zwischen der Qualitätsentwicklung allgemein und der Weiterentwicklung inklusiver Bildung ein sehr enger Zusammenhang besteht.
