Kepercayaan diri merupakan hal yang tidak diragukan lagi karena penting bagi seseorang, dengan kepercayaan diri akan merasa nyaman dengan kemampuan dirinya, terlihat dari tingginya tingkat ...keberanian, keterampilan sosial, tanggung jawab, dan harga diri. Salah satu cara meningkatkan percaya diri dengan adanya ekstrakulikuler muhadhoroh. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses pelatihan muhadhoroh dan muhadhoroh terhadap peningkatan self-confidence siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif, subjek penelitian sebanyak 4 orang ustad/ustadzah pembimbing, informan penelitian sebanyak 5 orang siswa kelas VII. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Teknik analisis data melalui pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa proses pelatihan muhadhoroh meliputi, pembuatan naskah, pengumpulan naskah, pengoreksian naskah, dan pelatihan praktek pidato (pelatihan penguasaan materi, menghilangkan nervous, pelafalan kata yang jelas, dan penggunaan bahasa tubuh). Adapun pelatihan public speaking telah menghasilkan dampak yang signifikan bagi para siswa di SMPIT Hasanka Palangka Raya, seperti dapat tenang dalam berbicara di depan publik, mampu menguasai audiens dan berani dalam mengungkapkan pendapatnya.
In this study, it was aimed to determine the relationship between the organizational vulnerability and self-confidence levels of teachers working in public secondary schools in Ankara. The study ...employed the relational survey model, one of the survey models and causal comparative model. The population of the study consists of 16171 teachers working in nine central districts of Ankara, and the sample consists of 377 teachers determined by using the stratified sampling method. Research data were collected with the Organizational Vulnerability Scale and the Self-Confidence Scale. In the analysis of the data, statistics such as percentage, frequency and arithmetic mean were used to describe the situations related to the variables. In order to test whether the teachers’ organizational vulnerability and self-confidence levels vary significantly depending on the independent variables, t-test and one-way analysis of variance were used. The degree and direction of the relationship between organizational vulnerability and self-confidence were determined using the Pearson correlation coefficient, and whether self-confidence predicts organizational vulnerability was determined through multiple regression analysis. According to the analysis results, the teachers’ level of defencelessness is relatively higher than their levels of sadness, incomptence and intolerance. The teachers’ organizational vulnerability was found to not vary significantly depending on the variables of gender, school type, professional experience and union membership. However, their levels of defencelessness, sadness and general vulnerability were found to vary significantly depending on their education level and their level of incomptence was found to vary significantly depending on their branch. The teachers’ level of self-confidence was found to not vary significantly depending on the variables of gender, union membership, education level and school type; however, their levels of intrinsic and general self-confidence were found to vary significantly depending on their branch and their levels of extrinsic self-confidence and general self-confidence were found to vary significantly depending on the variable of professional experience. There is a low and negative correlation between the level of incomptence and the levels of intrinsic and extrinsic self-confidence. Self-confidence does not significantly predict organizational vulnerability.
As a teenager, you often face many changes, especially internal body image and self-confidence. This research aims to understand the relationship between body image and self-confidence in gym ...members. The research method used is quantitative with a correlational design to statistically measure and statistically analyze the relationship between body image and self-confidence. A total of 117 gym members in Salatiga were research subjects. They were selected using an accidental sampling technique, which means they were chosen by chance from the available population. The data analysis method used for the correlation test uses Spearman’s Rho. The research results show a positive relationship between body image and self-confidence. That is when someone has a positive perception of body image and tends to have self-confidence. The Spearman's Rho correlation coefficient value of .617 indicates that this relationship is strong. In addition, a significance value (sig.) of .000 indicates that this relationship does not occur by chance. The results of this study suggest that increasing body image can help improve self-confidence. Thus, this research provides positive insight into the relationship between body image and self-confidence in gym members, which can help them improve their self-perception and self-confidence.
In an often‐cited study, Murdock et al. (2010) found that therapists are more likely to attribute premature treatment termination to client characteristics than to themselves, a finding that the ...authors interpreted in terms of a self‐serving bias (SSB). We replicated and extended the study of Murdock et al. (2010, study 2). Psychologists and psychotherapists (N = 91) read two case vignettes about premature treatment terminations of clients that, in a between‐subjects set‐up, were either described as own clients or other therapists' clients. Next, participants used three attribution subscales (blaming therapist, client and situation) to evaluate potential causes for the premature terminations. This way, we tested whether participants would manifest SSB. We also investigated whether therapists' scores on self‐confidence and need for closure were linked to SSB tendencies. Unlike Murdock et al. (2010), we found no overall SSB. However, a stronger need for closure was related to more SSB tendencies (i.e., less endorsement of ‘blame therapist’ attributions) in the own‐client condition (r = −.35, p < .05, r2 = .12), but not in the other‐therapist's‐client condition (r = .17, p = .27). Our results suggest that SSB is not a ubiquitous phenomenon when therapists evaluate premature termination problems and that their willingness to attend to their own role depends to some extent on their need for closure.
Humans are social beings but sometimes stay alone. This paper theoretically investigates the connection between an intraperson game and an interperson interaction. Motivated beliefs supplied from ...memory management due to present bias in the individual investment problem yields positive spillovers on others through social interactions. This suggests that frequent social interactions may reduce an individual’s inclination to cooperate, exacerbating the free-riding problem. Additionally, the paper establishes a positive correlation between overconfidence and prosocial attitudes, both of which may emerge and persist through life experiences. Evidence from cross-country psychological surveys at the country level and an online experiment at the individual level largely aligns with our theoretical implications.
The purposes of the research is to determine: 1) the differences in learning outcomes of body electricity between groups using safety-based circuit racks (RRBS) and conventional circuit racks (RRK), ...2) the differences in learning outcomes in body electrical between groups of students who have low, medium and high self-confidence. Data analysis used Two Ways ANOVA. The sample of this research is class XI TKR 1 & 4. The results of this study are 1) there is a significant difference in the learning outcomes of body electricity between the groups using RRBS and RRK. 2) there is a significant difference in the learning outcomes of body electricity between groups of students who have low, medium and high self confidence. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar kelistrikan bodi antara kelompok yang menggunakan rak rangkaian berbasis safety (RRBS) dengan rak rangkaian konvensional (RRK); (2) mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar kelistrikan bodi antara kelompok siswa yang mempunyai low, medium and high self confidence. Analisis data menggunakan Anova 2 jalur. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas XI TKR 1 dan 4. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah (1) ada perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar kelistrikan bodi antara kelompok yang menggunakan RRBS dengan RRK. (2) ada perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar kelistrikan bodi antara kelompok siswa yang mempunyai low, medium and high self confidence.
Several studies show that students' information literacy and self-confidence are still low and need to be improved. Students find the biological material on the digestive and respiratory systems ...particularly challenging because it explains the complex interactions between the structure, function, and symptoms of the disorders these systems cause and their uncommon scientific names. This study determined how Problem-Based Learning integrated with the Reading, Questioning, and Answering (PBL-RQA) model affects students' information literacy and self-confidence. Using a quasi-experimental with a nonrandomized control-group pretest-posttest design, 96 students from junior high school in Bangkalan Regency, East Java, Indonesia were sampled for the study. They were divided into one experimental class and two control classes. The PBL-RQA model was taught in the experimental class, while the PBL and RQA models were each taught in the control class. Information literacy was acquired through an essay test, and self-confidence was acquired through a questionnaire given using Google Forms. The analysis was conducted using the ANCOVA test with a significance level of 5% and then followed up with the least significant difference test. Students in the PBL-RQA class achieved the highest mean scores in information literacy and self-confidence, with 79.19 and 78.50, respectively. Based on the results, PBL-RQA learners significantly increased information literacy and self-confidence than PBL and RQA.
People are typically overly optimistic when evaluating the quality of their performance on social and intellectual tasks. In particular, poor performers grossly overestimate their performances ...because their incompetence deprives them of the skills needed to recognize their deficits. Five studies demonstrated that poor performers lack insight into their shortcomings even in real world settings and when given incentives to be accurate. An additional meta-analysis showed that it was lack of insight into their own errors (and not mistaken assessments of their peers) that led to overly optimistic estimates among poor performers. Along the way, these studies ruled out recent alternative accounts that have been proposed to explain why poor performers hold such positive impressions of their performance.
The aim of this study was to examine demographic, ideological, and personality trait correlates of self-assessed creativity. A large group (
= 1,299) of adults estimated their creativity score on a ...100-point scale. This rating was related to participants’ demographics (sex, age, education), ideology (religious and political beliefs), self-confidence, and six personality traits. The regression indicated that those who thought of themselves as more creative were more optimistic, higher on trait Curious (Open), but lower on trait Adjustment (low Neuroticism) and trait Competitive (low Agreeableness), and had higher self-esteem. The status of self-assessed/estimated creativity is discussed alongside limitations and recommendations for future research.
