Scientific papers are an important form for researchers to summarize and display their research results. Information mining and analysis of scientific papers can help to form a comprehensive ...understanding of the subject. Aiming at the ignorance of contextual semantic information in current topic mining and the uncertainty of screening rules in association evolution research, this paper proposes a topic mining evolution model based on the BERT-LDA model. First, the model combines the contextual semantic information learned by the BERT model with the word vectors of the LDA model to mine deep semantic topics. Then construct topic filtering rules to eliminate invalid associations between topics. Finally, the relationship between themes is analyzed through the theme evolution, and the complex relationship between the themes such as fusion, diffusion, emergence, and disappearance is displayed. The experimental results show that, compared with the traditional LDA model, the topic mining evolution model based on BERTLDA can accurately mine topics with deep semantics and effectively analyze the development trend of scientific and technological paper topics.
Ideological discourse serves the purpose of imposing a vision of the world based on the sender’sbeliefs on the recipient. For this purpose, treatments to modify the meanings of terms andthe ...axiological marking of words are used, ways of understanding and prioritising values areimposed, and the designata of words are arbitrarily changed. The subordination of the languageto ideology deprives it of its credibility as an instrument for describing reality, weakens its abilityto express meanings precisely, and makes it a tool for sustaining disputes.
Prior work on adversarial example generation with syntactically controlled paraphrase networks requires large-scale paraphrase parallel corpora to train models. The performance of the model is ...seriously limited by the domain and scale of paraphrase parallel corpus. To solve this problem, this paper proposes an unsuprervised syntactically controlled paraphrase model to generate adversarial examples which only needs monolingual data. Specifically, variational autoencoder is used to learn model, which maps a sentence and a syntactic parse tree into semantic and syntactic variables, respectively. By learning to reconstruct the input sentence from syntactic and semantic variables, the model effectively learns to generate syntactic paraphrases without using any parallel data. Experiment results on unsupervised sentence paraphrasing and adversarial example generation demonstrate that the proposed model achieves new state-of-the-art results on unsupervised paraphrase generation and generate effective adversarial exam
We report the results of an experiment investigating faultless disagreement by manipulating the relative expertise of the interlocutors. Our findings show that expertise differences affect judgments ...of faultless disagreement. We discuss ramifi- cations for prior accounts, and propose a novel account of faultless disagreement in a relativist framework making reference to standards of taste.
In the Ukrainian literary language of the first two decades of the 21st century we can observe the simultaneous functioning of several grammatical varieties of temporal construction, con-sisting of ...the case or prepositional-case form of the noun and the agreed attributive component (adjec-tive, pronoun, numeral). This variability of grammatical forms of temporal construction predefinеs changes in the grammatical design of the semantics of time. The diversity of grammatical forms of temporal construction causes difficulties related to the problems of their priority and accordance with modern grammatical norms. The aim of this article is to analyze the changes that have occurred in the grammatical expression of the semantics of time over the past hundred years of Ukrainian liter-ary language, and to establish which of the temporal constructions correspond to the long-standing Ukrainian tradition. Attention is focused primarily on those grammatical constructions that are actively used in the language practice of the 21st century. Based on the analysis of lexicographic and scientific sources of different chronological sections, the semantic and syntactic features of these temporal constructions are determined, which allowed practical recommendations for their correct and appropriate use to be developed and proposed.

A case of evolving reference chain… with implicit anaphora

, “Every tree, every bush, is full of flowers; and one might wish himself transformed into a butterfly, to float about in this ocean of perfume, and find his whole existence in it” (translation:

), we will study the way the clauses are linked and embedded, and from this point of view, we would like to deal with a question, with multiple faces, concerning referential and logical semantics, on the one hand, and textual semantics, on the other. The question posed by this “evolving context” (we call it that way to emphasize the double aspect of our approach and our analyzes, referential and textual, con- and cotextual) is the way in which the evolutionary process, of which we will first study the referential and modal aspect, both takes place in and thanks to the text and has repercussions on the sequence of clauses which represent it. From this point of view, and in the epistemological background, the question of the “syntax” useful for studying this concatenation in “for” in this type of co(n)text will arise.
The article is devoted to the study of writer’s individual style. It is carried out using linguostylistic analysis of the linguistic as well as stylistic and textual features typical for his works. ...In total, over 200 poems by Sergei Vasilyev-Borogonsky were analyzed, including verses and poems. Linguistic and stylistic as well as textual facts are based on 500 lines of poetry. As a result of the study, it was revealed that the idiostyle of the writer is mainly manifested at the syntactic level. At this level, the syntactic and semantic-syntactic means are distinguished, represented by stylistic figures and syntactic constructions. The most common syntactic means are the types of repetitions that create the rhythmic organization of the poetic text (anaphora, epiphora) and some syntactic constructions that testify to folklorism and high pathos of the stylistics of works (syntactic parallelism, rhetorical questions, addresses and exclamations). Both semantic and syntactic means are found in the continuous connection of repetitions structure with their semantics (antitheses, gradations and refrains). By means of poetic syntax, S.S. Vasilyev-Borogonsky creates artistic images, reveals the themes and ideological intentions of his works, and creates author’s lyrical digressions. They also serve as a means of creating the composition and rhythm of a poetic text. The novelty of this study results from the fact that the language and style of the Yakut poet and publicist, Sergei Vasilyev-Borogonsky, has not yet become an object of special study.
