La superstizione è un insieme di credenze e di pratiche rituali di natura irrazionale, tipiche degli ambienti arretrati. La sua influenza sulla vita quotidiana si è modificata ed adattata man mano ...che mutavano i tempi e i costumi. Il Cristianesimo, ad esempio, nei primi secoli di vita finì con l’assorbire tutto ciò che restava degli antichi culti pagani. Anche nell’ambito della cultura laica, la superstizione racchiudeva in se tutte le credenze che contrastavano con la razionalità e che appartenevano all’universo dell’immaginario: dall’astrologia alle varie forme di divinazione. Ancora oggi la superstizione sopravvive presso tutti i popoli e si annida nei ceti più disparati, dai più bassi ai più elevati. L’uomo primitivo, alla ricerca di risposte a fenomeni quali il lampo, il tuono, le eclissi, la nascita e la morte, non conoscendo le leggi della natura e non avendo ancora acquisito sufficienti conoscenze scientifiche, cominciò ad attribuire le cause di questi fenomeni a spiriti invisibili. Diverse sono le forme con cui si manifesta la superstizione. Tra queste ricordiamo toccare ferro, il quadrifoglio, essere tredici a tavola ecc. Ad essi si associa la credenza che esistano mesi e giorni fausti e infausti. Il malocchio è una delle convinzioni popolari più radicate nel genere umano; esso attribuisce allo sguardo di certi uomini e di certe donne il potere di produrre effetti sulla persona osservata. Ogni tempo e ogni cultura hanno avuto una propria visione della superstizione, che si è via via adattata con il mutare dei tempi. Oggi, ogni tema superstizioso proviene da lontano e rievoca distanti visioni del mondo e immagini seppellite.
Three species of pelagic sergestid shrimps, Deosergestes seminudus (Hansen, 1919), Sergia lucens (Hansen, 1922) and S. talismani (Barnard, 1947), were identified based on collections by the National ...Fisheries Research and Development Institute from the Korean coast of the Yellow Sea between 2003 and 2011. They are herein reported for the first time from the Yellow Sea. Morphological descriptions and illustrations with color photographs of all species are also given. With the addition of these species, the family Sergestidae in the Korean waters now comprises five species belonging to three genera. Finally, a key to the Korean genus and species of the family Sergestidae is presented.

Arkeoloji, Fransız devriminden sonra ortaya çıkmış bir bilgi biçimi olarak, antik dünyayı en temelde, mimari kalıntılar, ikonografi, nümizmatik, semiyografi, paleografi ve sosyal-fiziksel antropoloji ...aracılığıyla anlamaya ve anlamlandırmaya çalışır. Defineciler ise arkeolojik kalıntılarla, Süleyman’ın hazinesi ve Belkıs kıssasındakine benzer arketipik hikayeler, kalıntılardaki iz-işaretleri hazinenin kriptosu olarak gören ve bu kriptoyu çözebilecek okült bilginin Türk-İslam formu olan kenz-ül havas ‘ilmi’ne hakim cinci-muskacı-tılsımcı taifesi ve eşkıya söylenceleri aracılığı ile ilişkilenir . Arkeoloji biliminin bilgi üretme biçimi ile definecilerin bilgi üretme biçimi arasındaki gerilim, bu çalışmanın sahasının yapıldığı Elmalı bölgesinde de gözlemlenir. Bu iki bilgi biçimi arasındaki gerilim, özellikle definecilik ve definecilik etrafında dönen okült faaliyetlerle uğraşanların dünyayı anlamlandırma biçimi bizi çalışmanın temel problematiği olan bu senkretik katmanlar nasıl inşa edilir sorusuna götürür. Bu çalışmada, tarihsel ve sosyal bir takım süreçlerin sonucunda inşa edilen senkretik katmanların aslında bir tür defineci okültizmi olduğu, bu okültizmin yalnızca tarihsel, dini ve yerel folklorik kaynaklar aracılığı ile değil, sosyal medya aracılığıyla daha katmanlı bir şekilde inşa edildiği anlatılmaya çalışılıyor. Ayrıca, bu okült bilginin definecilik faaliyetleri içerisinde çok merkezi gibi görünse de aslında, bir tür tamamlayıcı bilgi olduğu ve define bulmaktan ziyade, definecilik faaliyetlerinin sürdürülebilir kılmaya yarayan bir moral kod olduğu anlatılmaya çalışılıyor. Elmalı bölgesindeki okültizmin yerel folklorik, tarihsel kaynakları olduğu kadar sosyal medya üzerinden genel ve daha yoğun bir dolaşımı da var. Bu makalenin ele aldığı konulardan birisi de, sosyal medya üzerinden yapılan bu yayınların, okült bilgiyi daha ezoterik hale getirdiği ve bu ezoterikleşmenin aslında define piyasasında dolaşımda olan hem maddi değeri hem de epistemoloji katmanını kontrol altında tutmaya dönük olduğu olacak.
Archaeology, as a form of knowledge that emerged after the French Revolution, seeks to understand and make sense of the ancient world primarily through architectural remains, iconography, numismatics, semiography, paleography and social-physical anthropology. Treasure hunters, on the other hand, relate to archaeological remains through archetypal stories such as the story of Solomon's treasure and the parable of Belkis, the amulet makers’, talismanists’ narrations and bandit legends who see the trace-signs in the ruins as the cryptos of the treasure and who have mastered the 'science' of kenz-ul havas, the Turkish-Islamic form of occult knowledge that can decipher this cryptos. The tension between the knowledge production of archaeology and the knowledge production of treasure hunters is also observed in the Elmalı region, where the field of this study is located. The tension between these two forms of knowledge, especially the way in which treasure diggers and those engaged in occult activities revolving around treasure digging make sense of the world, leads us to the question of how these syncretic layers are constructed, which is the main problematic of the study. What purposes these constructed layers serve, what their functions are, and how they function are other problematics.
This study tries to explain that the syncretic layers constructed as a result of a number of historical and social processes are actually a kind of treasure hunter occultism, and that this occultism is constructed not only through historical, religious and local folkloric sources, but also through social media in a more layered way. In addition, it is tried to be explained that although this occult knowledge seems to be very central to treasure hunting activities, it is actually a kind of complementary knowledge and that it is a moral code that helps to sustain treasure hunting activities rather than finding treasure. Occultism in the Elmalı region has local folkloric and historical sources as well as a general and more intense circulation through social media. One of the issues addressed in this article will be that these publications on social media make occult knowledge more esoteric and that this esotericization is actually aimed at controlling both the material value and the layer of epistemology circulating in the treasure market.

ve haraçların ödemesinde de tercih edilmeye başlanmıştır. Sikke zaman içerisinde emek ve hizmetin her türünün ve her bir mal kalemi için belirlenen ederin karşılığına dönüşür ve bu bağlamda artık değişmez temel ödeme aracıdır. Önceleri sadece değerli madenden basılırken sonradan değersiz madenden de sikke darbı paranın tanınırlığını arttırır. Gündelik yaşam içerisindeki rolü arttıkça sikkenin sosyal, kültürel, politik, dinsel ve bir o kadar da bireysel sebeplerden ötürü farklı amaçlar içinde kullanıldığı gözlemlenmiştir. En bilindik durumlar, metalinden ve formundan, üzerinde taşıdığı ikonografyadan ve yazılardan, ya da basan otoritenin kimliğinden ve gücünden dolayı paranın ideal bir koruyucuya dönüşmesi ve muska (amulet) olarak kullanımıdır. Sikkenin kemden koruyan özelliği dışında, “para parayı çeker” atasözünden de anlaşıldığı üzere ona atfedilen doğal, büyüsel ve mistik özellikler onu aynı zamanda ideal bir uğurluğa (talismana) dönüştürür. Bir sikkenin muska ya da uğurluğa dönüşüm evrelerini gözlemlemek Antik Çağdan beri ona atfedilen büyüsel özelliklerin neler olduklarını biliyor oluşumuzdan dolayı görece kolaydır ve bu durum bugün içinde para bulunan ritüelleri yorumlamamıza çok yardımcı olur. Her ne kadar sikke başlı başına pozitif güç taşıyan, bu bağlamda hem kötüden koruyan hem de bolluk ve bereket getiren olsa da her zaman bu yeterli olmamaktadır. Buna en güzel örnek de Hıdırellez parasıdır. Türkiye’nin hemen hemen her yerinde kutlanan Hıdırellez ritüeli Balkanlardan Ortadoğu’ya geniş bir coğrafyada kutlanan en önemli bahar bayramlarındandır. Her yıl 5 Mayıs akşamı Hızır ile İlyas’ın buluştuğuna inanılan Hıdırellez günü bolluk, bereketle özdeştir. O günün akşamı Hızır tek tek evleri dolaşır, dilekleri kabul eder. Ona inananlar için Hızır varlığıyla doğanın yeniden canlanmasına, kurumuş olanın yeşermesine ön ayak olandır. Zor durumlarda, felaket anlarında kurtarıcı yardımcı olarak karşımıza çıkar. İnsanları sınayıp iyi ve temiz kalplileri ödüllendirir, her dokunduğuna bereket ve bolluk getirir. İşte tam da bu sonuncu özelliğinden dolayı her yıl 5 Mayıs gecesi genellikle gül dalına içinde para olan bir kırmızı kese asılır. Kimi zaman da gül dibine bırakılır. Bazen de kese yerine ağzı açık bir cüzdan, içinde para bulunan bir çanta konulur. Nadiren paraların gömüldüğü de bilinmektedir. 6 Mayıs sabah erkenden geri alınan paralar artık Hızır’ın eli değdiğinden dolayı uğurludur. Bir yıl boyunca çoğunlukla cüzdanın bir köşesinde ya da çantada saklanır. Diğer paralarla karışmasın diye genellikle üzeri kırmızı ojeyle boyanır, bezin içine dikilir, üstü bantlanır. Parayı korumaya yönelik tedbirler sahip olan özelinde oldukça bireysel eylemlerin görülmesine de yol açar. Yeni Hıdırellezle birlikte eski uğur paraları uğurluk özelliğini yitirse de çoğu zaman tercih edilen evin bir köşesinde onları muhafaza etmektir. Bu eski Hıdırellez paraları bazen denize, akarsuya atılmakta, bazen de fakire verilmekte ya da aynı sebeple yol üstünde bir yere bırakılmaktadır. Bu paraları hükmü kalmadığı için harcayan ya da tekrar uğur parasına dönüştürmek için yeni Hıdırellez’de keseye koyan da vardır. Bu çalışma göstermektedir ki Hızır’ın ve onun dokunduğu paranın uğurlu olduğuna duyulan inanç oldukça yaygındır ve cinsiyet, sınıf ayrım gözetmeksizin olgu bireyler tarafından kabul edilmekte, öğretilmekte ve yaşatılmaktadır.
Coinage was invented to easily pay the salaries of soldiers and civil servants and to keep a record of
these actions more easily. Since it facilitated the work, it has also been preferred for the payment of taxes and
tributes later. Over time, coin has turned into the equivalent of all types of labor and services and the value
determined for each item of goods, and in this context, it became an invariable basic payment instrument. While, at first, coins were minted only using precious metals, later coins were minted from worthless metals as well, and this situation increased the recognition of the coin. As its role in daily life increased, it has been observed that it is used for different purposes due to social, cultural, political, religious, and individual reasons. The most common cases are when money turns into an ideal protector and is used as an amulet. This is sometimes due to its metal, its form, sometimes to the iconography and writings it carries on it, or to the identity and power of the issuing authority. It is believed that the coin brings good luck, abundance, fertility and gives strength as well as protecting people from evil and evil eye. In addition to the physical properties of the coin, the natural magic attributed to it, as understood from the proverb "money attracts money", is also effective and turns the coin into an ideal talisman. Observing the transformation phases of a coin into an amulet or talisman is relatively easy since we know what the magical properties have been attributed to it since ancient times. This helps us interpret rituals involving money today. Although the coin owns positive power, protects people from evil and brings abundance, this is not always enough. The best example of this is the Hıdırellez money. Hıdırellez is celebrated almost everywhere in Turkey. In addition, it is one of the most significant spring holidays celebrated in a wide geography from the Balkans to the Middle East. The day of Hıdırellez, which is believed to host a meeting between Hızır and İlyas every year on the evening of May 5, is synonymous with abundance. In the evening of that day, Hızır visits the houses one by one and accepts the wishes. For those who believe in him, Hızır, with his presence, is the one who takes the lead in the revival of nature and the greening of the dried up. In difficult situations, in times of disaster, Hızır emerges as a savior and helper. He tests people, rewards the good and purehearted, and brings blessings and abundance to everything he touches. It is precisely because of this last feature that a red purse containing money is usually hung on the rose branch on the night of May 5 every year. Sometimes this pouch is left at the bottom of the rose. Sometimes, instead of a purse, an open wallet or a purse with money is put. Although rare, coins are also known to be buried. The money taken back early in the morning of May 6 is now lucky because Hızır’s hand has touched it. It is stored for a year. it is mostly stored in a corner of the wallet or in a bag. In order not to mix with other coins, it is usually either painted with red nail polish, sewn into a cloth, or taped over. Measures to protect money also led to the appearance of individual actions. With the new Hıdırellez, old lucky coins lose their talisman feature. However, they are often kept in a corner of the house. These old coins are sometimes thrown into the sea, running water, and sometimes given to the poor or left somewhere on the road for the same reason. There are also those who spend the money because they are out of date or put them in a purse in the new Hıdırellez to turn them into lucky money again. This study shows that the belief that Hızır and the money he touched are auspicious is quite common. The phenomenon is accepted, taught, and kept alive by individuals regardless of gender or class.
Dans le De operationibus occultis naturae, Thomas d’Aquin explique la notion de propriété occulte découlant de la forme spécifique des choses inanimées, qui rend compte de phénomènes inexplicables ...par le seul agencement des qualités premières, conformément à un cadre philosophique et médical hérité en partie de Galien et Avicenne. Pour Thomas, ces propriétés ne sont qu’un étage dans une présentation d’un ordre hiérarchisé des êtres définis par l’union hylémorphique et couronné par l’homme, dont la forme substantielle est l’âme. On trouve des parallèles à cette construction dans le De mineralibus d’Albert le Grand. D’autres occurrences dans le corpus des œuvres de Thomas d’Aquin, où l’aimant doté d’une propriété attractive est comparé à l’homme doté d’une âme, permettent de mieux comprendre pourquoi Thomas d’Aquin accepte les propriétés occultes spécifiques ou substantielles, mais rejette les propriétés occultes individuelles ou accidentelles.
