The Huize surperlarge lead-zinc deposit is a typical deposit in the Sichuan-Yunnan-Guizhou Zn-Pb polymetallic mineralization zone, and sphalerite is the main ore minerals, which can divided into ...three metallogenic stages. Sphalerite of early metallogenic stage with dark brown, black brown colour, has higher content of silver, germanium and thallium. Sphalerite's colour of middle metallogenic stage is brown and light brown, with higher content of indium. Whereas sphalerite of later metallogenic stage with higher content of gallium, and its colour is light brown, rosiness, pale yellow, even achromaticity. Cadmium is significantly enriched in sphalerite of different metallogenic stages. By the study of trace element geochemistry of sphalerite, the Huize lead-zinc deposit is different from the typical MVT type deposits, which indicate that the Huize lead-zinc deposit formed in a special environment, and is not a typical MVT type deposit.
There is a series of Cenozoic alkali-rich porphyries along Jinshajiang river-Ailaoshan fracture belt in western Yunnan province. Quartzic calcite peritecticum, pegmatitic xenolith of quartz-albite, ...pure quartz peritecticum that includes glass inclusions and iron-rich melt xenoliths, associated with Mafic-ultramafic deep xenoliths, have been discovered in the alkali-rich porphyries. Fluid inclusion studies show that the generation of pure quartz peritecticum, Quartzic calcite peritecticum and pegmatitic xenolith of quartz-albite is bounded with immiscibility, which is caused by continuous decompressing of CO 2 - rich fluid. The paragenetic relationship, which glass inclusions were associated with H 2 O-NaCl inclusions and CO 2 inclusions, indicates that inclusions have been trapped with immiscibility of melt and fluid. Geochemistry of REE and trace element research exhibites that fluid came from enriched mantle. Reversed abnormality of Zr, Hf in pure quartz peritecticum and iron-rich melt xenoliths showed the special peritecticum(xenoliths) are products which mantle fluid(melt or fluid) generated through immiscibility of decompression in upwelling. Meanwhile, it indicates a potential truth, which melt transforms to fluid for mantle fluid which was upwelling to crust.
The trace elements, such as Ba, Sr, and Rb, were systematically used to decipher the differentiation process of the Jurassic and Cretaceous granitic rocks of South Korea. From Ba, Sr, and Rb ...relationships of the Cretaceous granitic rocks in both Kyongsang basin and Ogcheon zone, it is suggested that the Cretaceous granitic rocks were mainly formed by fractional crystallization of parental magmas. Quartz diorite (Jindong granite) in the Kyongsang basin has the chemistry of crystallized melts, as opposed to cumulate-like chemistry. While, granodiorite, adamellite, and granite (Bulgugsa granite, masanite, hypersolvus granite, and Cretaceous granitic rocks in the Ogcheon zone) have the chemistry between crystallized melts and cumulus crystals. This fact suggests that perfect separation of cumulus crystals from intermediate and felsic melts is unlikely, and some trapped intercumulus melt may be anticipated.
