Background: Around 70% of the Indian population are from rural areas and around 28 percent of the population live in below poverty line; the out of pocket expenditure on health is quite a burden to ...the household. A report found that the coverage falls short of the desirable coverage of 25% according to the National Health Policy. Studies regarding government health schemes in the rural population are scarce. Hence, this study was conducted with objectives to assess the perception about national health schemes and to determine association between perceptions with various socio-demographic variables among patients attending Rural Health Training Centre (RHTC) of a medical college. Methods: A cross sectional study was carried out among 107 patients attending OPD at RHTC. Data was collected with convenience sampling technique using pretested, semi-structured questionnaire. The responses were entered and statistically analysed by using SPSS v.20. Chi square test was applied to know the association between demographic variables and perception. Results: About 60 (56.07%) participants perceived the health schemes to be beneficial to common man. While, 45 (42.05%) participants disagreed that they had adequate knowledge of scheme. Perception of agreement regarding its benefits was proportionately higher in males-46 (60.52%), in ≤50,000 income- 47 (69.11%) and with card availability 55 (80.88%). Perception of agreement with respect to ‘Protection from unexpected cost’ by various schemes is proportionately higher in males- 32 (58.18%) and with card availability- 34 (61.81%). Perception of agreement regarding its willingness to utilize schemes was proportionately higher in ≤30 years of age- 39 (55.71%). Conclusions: Majority of the participants agree that these schemes are beneficial and provide quality and affordable treatment and protects from unexpected costs. Majority of participants are willing to utilise these schemes. Therefore, it is the need of the hour to increase awareness of schemes among people.

This study analyzes the factors influencing customer satisfaction in the aviation training and education industry. The studies were on service quality, customer value, and customer satisfaction. This research is descriptive and quantitative and focuses on analyzing factors that influence customer satisfaction with a survey method approach using a questionnaire. The population in this study were alumni of Merpati Training Centre students who had completed the initial FOO and Engineering education held by Merpati Training Centre. The study was conducted on 86 respondents with a non-random sampling technique using purposive sampling. The results of the study showed that the service quality has a significant effect on customer value, the service quality has a significant effect on customer satisfaction, the customer value has a significant effect on customer satisfaction, and the service quality has a significant effect on customer satisfaction through the intervening customer value. It showed that maintaining good relationships with customers, in this case, students, and improving the service quality provided will impact the customer value obtained by students. Ultimately the expected customer satisfaction is achieved in the aviation training and education industry. If the service quality, customer value, and customer satisfaction are met as expected, it will impact increasing the number of customers and growing in the future.

Professional guidance as a process of student empowerment must be accessible to all people following the principles of educational equity and inclusion. The improvement of its quality can come from ...the integration of technologies in the work of the counselors. Aware of the lack of studies and the current relevance of vocational training, this research aims to analyze the opinion of counselors about the importance, interest and difficulties they detect in the integration of technologies. An empirical study has been carried out with a sample made up of 47.11% of the Spanish population (57 guidance professionals). Data collection was carried out with a validated online questionnaire (.81 Cronbach's Alpha).
The results show a high interest in the inclusion of technologies in professional guidance, recognizing their importance in their daily work. They identify the lack of training and time as difficulties in achieving this challenge. It is concluded that guidance can be nourished by the potential of technologies and the proactive attitude that counselors demonstrate to train in this field and achieve higher quality.
La orientación profesional como proceso de empoderamiento del alumnado debe ser accesible a todas las personas siguiendo los principios de equidad e inclusión educativa. La mejora de su calidad puede venir dada por la integración de tecnologías en la labor de las personas orientadoras. Conscientes de la falta de estudios y de la relevancia actual de la formación profesional, esta investigación tiene como objetivo analizar la opinión de las personas orientadoras acerca de la importancia, el interés y las dificultades que detectan en la integración de tecnologías. Se ha llevado a cabo un estudio empírico con una muestra formada por el 47,11 % de la población española (57 profesionales de la orientación). La recogida de datos se ha realizado con un cuestionario validado online (.81 Alpha de Cronbach).
Los resultados evidencian un elevado interés en la inclusión de tecnologías en la orientación profesional, reconociendo la importancia de éstas en sus labores diarias. Identifican como dificultades para alcanzar este reto la falta de formación y tiempo. Se concluye que la orientación puede nutrirse de las potencialidades de las tecnologías y de la actitud proactiva que demuestran las personas orientadoras para formarse en este campo y alcanzar mayor calidad.
Vocational training centres are conceptually regarded as key players in the knowledge generation and dissemination processes that take place within innovation systems. However, the literature does ...not provide conclusive evidence of their influence on the generation, development and dissemination of innovations. The goal of this paper is to analyse whether vocational training centres are indeed relevant agents in the articulation, knowledge exchange and dissemination of a local innovation system. The paper explores the most influential agents driving cooperation and articulating the local innovation system in Durango, one of the twenty counties of the Basque Country, Spain. Social network analysis is applied to regional collaboration networks in order to address this purpose. Our results show evidence of the pivotal role played by vocational training centres within local innovation processes implemented by firms. For many local firms vocational training centres represent the main sources of knowledge in their innovation processes. In the Basque context, vocational training centres have a longer history than other knowledge infrastructures, such as universities and research centres. These long-standing centres thus constitute ‘old bottles’ that despite their history are still able to produce a ‘good old wine’ in terms of innovation, which is translated into competitive advantage for the territory. Science, technology and innovation policies should therefore not only aim to create more knowledge infrastructures, but also to reinforce the role that traditional and territorially established organizations like vocational training centres can play as intermediary agents.
Introduction: Sub-Saharan Africa continues to carry the full consequences of health and socioeconomic impact of HIV, with about 25.8 million and 66% of people with HIV infection living in the region. ...The overall prevalence of contraceptive use in Nigeria is low, especially among men; the uptake of contraception and the type of contraceptive use are heavily influenced by the male/husband dominance in the society/family. Methodology: The study was carried out among HIV-positive male patients in Saye, Zaria, using a descriptive cross-sectional study among 265 respondents. Chi-square and multivariate logistic regression were used to determine factors influencing contraceptive usage. Results: The mean age of respondents was 45.6 ± 11.7 years. Only 61.9% of the respondents have ever used contraception, out of which 56.7% are currently using contraception. The identified reason for not using contraception was because they both were HIV positive (29%). There was a significant association between age, marital status, and level of education of respondents and current use of contraception with a P value of 0.001, <0.001, and 0.004, respectively. Conclusion: There were low usage of contraception and poor acceptance of vasectomy. There should be adequate policies in place by the government to encourage male involvement in the utilization of contraception.
Introduction: Diabetes mellitus is a heterogeneous group of diseases, characterized by chronic hyperglycemia, resulting from environmental and genetic causes. Aim - To study the cases of type 2 ...diabetes mellitus attending urban health training centre of community medicine department of tertiary care hospital, Maharashtra.
Method: It was a hospital based observational descriptive study done in urban health training centre from January to December 2016 including all known cases of type 2 diabetes mellitus which was around 700.
Result: Maximum cases were from age group 40-49 years (38.16 %) and 48% were males and 52 % were females. Maximum cases were Hindu 43% having unskilled occupation 19% and nuclear family 46%. Whereas 37% and 18 % study subjects were having BMI of 25- 29.9 and and ≥ 30 respectively, 28 % were having family history of diabetes mellitus, 37% were having Hypertension, 55 % men and 57% women were having abnormal waist-hip ratio, 29 % men and 09 % women were having habit of alcohol intake. Whereas 37% men and 25% women were having habit of tobacco intake.
Conclusion: Type 2 diabetes mellitus patients having modifiable and non-modifiable risk factors for the causation of the disease.

Sesuai analisa prioritas kebutuhan pelanggan berdasarkan nilai raw weight, nilai kepentingan, maka diketahui atribut-atribut yang perlu diperhatikan berdasarkan 3 ( tiga ) prioritas utama adalah Kondisi mesin untuk latihan skill baik dengan nilai prioritas raw weight (8,932), Jumlah mesin memadai dalam pelatihan dengan nilai prioritas raw weight ( 8,886 ), Kesigapan seluruh trainermembantu trainee setiap waktu dengan nilai prioritas raw weight ( 7,937 ). Prioritas pelayanan yang membutuhkan perhatian lebih dari pihak perusahaan untuk segera diperbaiki berdasarkan 3 ( tiga ) prioritas respon teknis adalah Melakukan pengawasan keseluruhan pelatihan dengan nilai ( 0,184 ), Meningkatkan keahlian trainer dalam program pelatihan dengan nilai (0,137), Penambahan fasilitas-fasilitas dengan nilai ( 0,129 ). ABSTRACT There is an increasing competition in service industries, causing the service industry are competing in improving service quality to satisfaction to customers. In simple terms, satisfaction is a feeling or state of a person in which perceptions of a particular product or service in accordance with expectations. If the perception of a product or service was beyond what was expected of course, consumers are satisfied but if otherwise, consumers will feel dissatisfied. Training Centre is venue training skill in the shoe company. To analyse and improve employee satisfaction in the training , then provide technical service and response attributes, then using integration methods Servqual and Quality Function Deployment. Based on the analysis found the house of quality and service quality Training Centre still less satisfactory when compared with what is expected by its employee. Appropriate analysis of the priority needs of the customer based on raw weight value, the value of the interest, then unknown attributes to be considered on the terms of 3 (three) top priority is condition of machines is good a priority value raw weight (8.932), a sufficient number of machine with a priority value raw weight (8.886), alacrity all trainer in helping trainees every time with a priority value raw weight (7.937). Nurses' lack of competence to be caring affects patients' health and patients describe a desire for more individual and compassionate care. Nursing education tends, however, to focus less on the ...caring approach in nursing practice and more on developing knowledge in psychomotor skills. The aim of this study was to describe nursing students' experiences of simulating caring and uncaring encounters founded on the caritative perspective at a Clinical Training Centre (CTC).
A qualitative, inductive approach using a qualitative latent content analysis. Written reflections of 49 students were analysed.
By intertwining reflection with acting and observation, the students experienced that they achieved an open mind and gained an understanding of how important it was to treat the patient based on a caring approach. To act, first uncaring and thereafter caring, gave them an awakening. The students were touched and an overwhelming feeling of suddenly understanding human uniqueness and vulnerability appeared.
To simulate caritative caring and uncaring encounters at the CTC enhanced students' knowledge and understanding about caring and strengthened their prerequisites to acquire a caritative ontological basic view and attitude which in the long run may lead to an increased feeling of patient well-being in the encounter.
