In Polish and Czech pedagogy, there have not been many studies on the social, cultural and educational functioning of academic youth in a culturally diversified environment. The analysis of identity ...behaviours presented by university students from the Polish-Czech borderland and of their learning potentialities will provide a chance for mutual recognition, understanding and the enrichment of both cultures – along with providing a chance for cultural sensitization. Due to the applied culturalization attitudes, this will also enhance the participation in the culture of the neighbouring country and the shortening of cultural distance. Such studies are also associated with a reflection upon the way in which a contemporary human understands cultural dimensions, the role they play in human life and the scope in which they shape the individual’s own and their social/cultural identity.
This paper deals with the partial efforts of the authorities to promote the desired parenting and reduce the number of unwanted pregnancies and abortions through the sexual education of Yugoslav ...women temporarily residing in the countries of Western Europe. These insufϐiciently systematic and coordinated activities were supposed, before all, to facilitate and improve the situation of migrant women abroad, but also, indirectly, to try to prevent and inϐluence the speciϐic social problems in the country caused by migration. This study is based on the sources of the Archives of Yugoslavia and relevant literature.

Nurses have been recruited to Finland from the Philippines since 2008. Although the numbers are relatively low, the phenomenon is new and has thus given rise to a manifold societal debate. It has ...been questioned, whether the international recruitment of nurses is an ethically and economically sustainable solution to the shortage of nursing staff in Finland. This publication serves as a forum where various agents in the international recruitment processes can get their voice to be heard. A multi-perspective approach is used to enable researchers to provide a fair, equivalent and empirically-validated illustration of the causes and consequences of international recruitment processes.
Suomeen on rekrytoitu vuodesta 2008 lähtien sairaanhoitajia Filippiineiltä.

The papers contained in this booklet were presented at the transnational conference “Employment/Working Conditions, Occupational Safety and Health of Posted Workers” in Ljubljana, Slovenia (15 ...February 2017). The conference brought together experts (researchers and practitioners) from several European countries to discuss the existing and new challenges related to OSH (occupational safety and health), labour, and working conditions of posted workers. The conference served as the launch event of the POOSH project, financed by the European Comission (Programme EaSI PROGRESS) and led by Dr. Kristina Toplak from the Slovenian Migration Institute at ZRC SAZU. The booklet is covering the topic of the OSH of posted workers from several angles. The first part is framed around contributions given by researchers working in the field of labor mobility, with the focus on the occupational safety and health of posted workers. The second part contains contributions from practitioners working in NGOs, trade unions or Ministries of Labour who presented their work as well as discussed national and transnational legislations related to the OSH of posted workers.
