    The main objectives of the WP7 are expanding existing online open-access training portal “TransMed Academy”, launching yearly Summer Schools in Personalised Medicine and workshops on Industry- ... Academia Collaboration, as well an overarching long-term goal of developing a strategic plan for sustainability of EATRIS’ education and training operations. Over the past 18 months many milestones and deliverables have been met. In August 2020 the Community Training Needs Survey was organised and the report delivered timely (D.7.1) by December 2020. Keeping in highlight the results of the survey, further focus was put on preparation of the programme and implementation of Summer School in Personalized Medicine (14-18 June 2021). In parallel the preparations for the workshop on Best Practices in Industry-Academia Collaboration, that will be held in 27-28 September 2021 started with full force. The registration for the latter opened on 18 June 2021. Monthly meetings are held in the EATRIS Education and Training team to work on the long-term sustainability of the training operations. Over the past 18 months, progress has been made in determining KPIs, unifying how all training offerings are published and evaluated. This has led to more efficient participant and target group information collection, which is greatly helpful in determining long-term outcomes, and setting further priorities. Project partners (including EATRIS national nodes) have been very active in disseminating the information about the training opportunities including on the “Landscape of Translational Medicine” on TransMed Academy and a collaboration was formed with i2TRON PhD Training Programme run by project partner LIH. Additional partnership has been formed with European Patients’ Academy on Therapeutic Innovation (EUPATI), where EATRIS offers dedicated seats at all relevant trainings to EUPATI fellows.
