Mežnarec Novosel, Suzanna ; Campuzano Bolarín, Francisco ; Bogataj, David, 1973-
): Motivation: The study is based on the hypothesis that the structure of the type of use of LTC services in Spain depends on the population density by region and GDP/capita by region. Research ... Questions: Based on a review of the experience gained by the structure of the organization of services in the 15 years following the adoption of the Spanish System Act regulating long-term care, we were interested in whether we could follow the example of Spain and pay particular attention to anything in the further planning of the social infrastructure in Slovenia. The model: For this purpose, we checked differences in the choice of LTC services according to population density by region and differences in chosen services for the clients and their families according to GDP and revenues. Results: The structure of the use of DO services in Spain varies according to population density by region and GDP/population. by region. We proved the validity of the hypothesis. Conclusions: Related research is needed to explore patterns of actual utilization of LTC services, highlight opportunities and needs in individual regions, and serve LTC system designers for long-term planning of these services.
