    Background. We report on a case of 45 year old female with coexistent granulomatous diseases: active hematogenously disseminated tuberculosis and sarcoidosis. The patient was followed for 3.5 years. ... Conclusion. We propose the two granulomatouses are etiopathologically connected. Extensive, bacteriologically highly positive tuberculous infection may have induced patients immune system and may have, thereby, caused the development of sarcoidosis.
