  • Predlog kriterijev verifikacije poklicne bolezni zaradi ionizirajočih sevanj = Proposal of criteria for verification of occupational radiation disease
    Črnivec, Rajko
The Republic of Slovenia has no computerized national register of occupationaldiseases, diseases suspected of being of occupational origin, or diseases related to occupation, therefore no accurate ... data on the severity of radiation injuries are available. Stohastic and nonstohastic occupational radiation injuries are only rarely recorded, except in the case nuclear power plant accidents. Skin injuries, such as radiodermatitis, radiation cataract and cancers of the skin, haematopoetic tissue, bones, thyroid gland, lung and other organs are the most common chronic occupational conditions caused by radiation. The paper proposes criteria for verification of occupational radiation diseases, complying with the European verification requirements.
