  • Comparison of the calibration results of water meters by the start-stop and flying-start procedures

    The start-stop or the flying-start procedures can be used for the calibration of water meters and the volume part of heat meters. The initial establishment of constant water flow in the test section ... has a significant influence on the results of measurement in the start-stop operating procedure. One often does not have a choice between these two procedures. For this reson, a comparison was made of the results obtained by the flying-start and start-stop procedures. The test volume of water and the time of the testing procedure areespecially important in the start-stop procedure.
