  • State and trends in the use of GPS and DGPS in the Central European countries

    GPS (Global Positioning System) is for ageodesy a positioning tool, which concerning accuracy and price has no comparison regarding exsting measuring technique. Some of GPS measuring techniques may ... already be considered as classic measurements and some new techniques are still appearing. This holds especially in the case of DGPS which is widely known, but it has not come into wide practical use. In the Central European countries is DGPS technique of positioning in some of them everyday practice, but in the others it is almost unknown positioning technique. The purpose of this contribution is to find out the state of the art of GPS and especially DGPS in the Central European countries, and to give an attempt to the uniform mode of the use DGPS in the Central European countries
