    An important tool in simulating VOD-process for the stainless steel production (Vacuum Oxzgen Decarburisation) is the development of the automation to assure both the process control and steel ... quality. VODPRO is a new practice oriented software tool, which enables to transfer metallurgical and process know-how, knowledge and experience. The software is designed to support the specifications of the client, based on the level of justification of process and product reproductibility. VODPRO manages the complete process data for each steel grade, giving operators the precise recipes, setpoints and the best practice to melt and process adjustment.
