    The article presents preliminary results ofthe theoretical study of nematic structures within a supramicron cylinfrical tube with free ends. The assunption is that nematic liquid crystal molecules ... are uniaxial. The nematic director field has been calculated via minimisation of the Frank elastic free energy density.
