    Detecting microorganisms on textiles is useful for many purposes, for example to determine the bio burden before laundering, assess the reduction in bacterial counts in connection with various ... laundry processes, or trace transfer routes in infection control investigations. A research conducted at the Faculty of Health sciences, University of Maribor, Slovenia where a destructive classical elution method and a non-destructive elution method using the MORAPEX A device from Sedo Treepoint were compared, has shown, that both methods are comparable with the advantage that the MORAPEX A apparatus can collect samples without destroying textiles.
