Semantic similarity plays a vital role in Q & A systems, Text Mining, Language modeling, Information Retrieval, Natural Language Processing (NLP), text-related research and applications. Measuring Semantic similarity between sentences is closely related to Semantic similarity between words. Key word extraction is useful to understand the important information contained in a document or in a short text. This paper proposes two strategies for: (i) finding the similarity and context between two sentences. (ii) Extending this approach for a paragraph of sentences using the WordNet lexical database.
