People's Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Honored Art Worker, Professor Vasif Allahverdiyev is one of the bright faces of the modern school of composition. Along with the expression of various themes in the multifaceted work of the composer, the expression of lyrical beginnings and lyrical images is one of the main places. The richness of themes, characterized by the diversity of genres of the composer's works, led to the use of both heroic and lyrical themes in his work. V.Allahverdiyev revived the lyrical theme as the main means of expression in his symphonic works, songs and romances. In the work of Vasif Allahverdiyev, who represents the direction of romanticism in Azerbaijani music, this influence is expressed both at the level of programming and the embodiment of lyrical feelings and emotions. Depending on the content of the work, the composer has a different approach to the lyrical theme. In Vasif Allahverdiyev's work, lyricism manifests itself in various forms. Thus, if the auxiliary theme in the symphonic poem "The Way of Life" is based on lyricism, the second part in the symphony "Ataturk", "Waltz of Love" can be characterized as a real lyrical confession.
